  1. I guess this minor setback won't stop AFOL's building.
  2. Could you please put some deeplinks here? So we all can imediately see what you mean.
  3. I am in total awe! Fantastic model, great instructions, thanks for sharing!
  4. nice pics! But: no rear brakes?
  5. @ Anio! Since there was mention of multiple other pictures on TechnicBricks, do you have those? I seem to have missed them.... Edit 2: Never mind... Found them already with Google cache!
  6. Missing some parts, however unlikely, is still possible. I rember a story about a someone missing over 70pieces..... Backtracking for the part is a good idea. And i do hope you'll find it. If you still miss them, just write a complaint to Lego: they will sent you the missing part.
  7. I read about the 8051motor having a 3 cylinder inline motor. Does anybody see more than one cylinder on the pictures? And has anybody an idea on how that would/could or should be?
  8. To me it looks that those are the 4 m-motors! Nothing new...
  9. Really nice idea, if you don't have a soundbrick.
  10. Got mine last wednesday. Built it right away and took some pitures. So check my brickshelf. So here are my comments: It's a nice model but it's a quite simple built with not that many new parts. The stickers add a lot to the looks of the model, where itself is lacking "technic" functions. It kinda looks like an "in between model" to keep the (younger)AFOL's happy. The race truck runs smoothly and there do not seem to been any designflaws in it. With over 150 connectorpins and many other small parts it still is a big model. (lxhxw: 32cmx16cmx15cm) All in all: 3,5 ot of 5 points. Note: Does anyone know how many sets , being a "limited" edition, are going to be produced?
  11. The 8258 Crane Truck is the best option. May you could sent an email to LEGO asking them if this model is coming on stock again. If not i would think the 8265 Front Loader is an awsome model. But remember this: I definately needs the 8293 PF motor set! Good luck in hunting for something great. And keep us informed on your adventures!
  12. I keep everything on shelves. And yes, dust is a problem. So i keep on dusting (and dusting). But i don't mind: it's part of of the fun. (Well, kind of...)
  13. Just saw at the LEGO S@H webshop that my copy of the 8041 is "shipped". Seems kind of strange to me, because when i made the order it was on backorder for january 30th. Let's just wait and see!
  14. Any luck yet in receiving the 8041? Did you made any pictures already?
  15. I can't read the text with the 8041. Does it say anything about powerfunctions? Edit 21.42 With a little searching i found another picture. (LEGO S@H Catalogue??) Check this! Under the PF logo it says: Bring your Race Truck to life with Power Functions accessories. So i think there will be more info on that on the buildinginstructionsbooks of the A-Model
  16. Which catalogue? The boxart only has a 2models1set logo. So i am waiting on your reply.
  17. I've never seen these maquettes. How big are they? They look kinda nice, but i would never buy one. Far to expensive!
  18. Rumour has it that the racetruck will be in stores in febuary 2010. Let's hope so! This would be a nice extra for the technic fans.
  19. Both zip-files for the b-model 0f the 8041 racetruck are available! B-model 8041
  20. So this is going to be an "ïn between seasons" model? An extra for the afols?
  21. So the the 8041 Race truck is going to be an "exclusive" or only available at TRU, shop @ Home, or webshops?
  22. Does anyone have an idea on what is written on the left side next to the red brick? WANTED...... Or maybe LIMITED......?
  23. Maybe the pics of almost all the buidlingsteps on my brickshelf , togehter with the buildinginstructions you've downloaded from Lego.com, can help... JunkstyleGio's brickshelf on 8284 Edit: Brickshelf seems to be offline..... Does anyone got any news on that?
