  1. Nice work, Eric! Hope you get the next 15 years in your Technopedia soon... It's a hell of a job. Tip: Maybe you should use some ghostwriters/friends for speeding up the process!
  2. Guess so.... But let's ask Blakbird!
  3. Last febuary i went to a Lego gathering in The Netherlands. When i asked their ambassador about a new SuperCar; he wouldn't answer any of those questions. Later on i talked to Nathanael and he said to me: "You know I can't answer those questions......." Political answers like these makes me wonder even more! (A simple "NO" would have stopped the discussion/expectations) "The big exclusive from S@H/supercar" as discussed on TechnicBricks is only feeding those romours. Well, lets wait and see!
  4. Love this B-Model! Great use of almost all of the essential parts of the A-model. But is it so hard to make the steeringwheel actually work? HOG-steering is a great alternative but I kind of miss that. A good alternative would be something like the way it's done in the 8466. Any ideas on this? By the way: great pictures Eric!
  5. You are right! He worked at TLC and designed several technic models. (For instance the cherry picker) But then again what would you expect from a supercar? My whishes for such a model are: Fully RC, Automatic gearbox, High(er) speed, and ofcourse: CC-version, dampend doors (no gullwings) and so on, and so on.... I think it all will be just "whisfull thinking".... But there are some unstoppable rumours on several LUGs and forums for a LEGO S@H Technic exclusive in 2010.
  6. Well well, that is not so nice, Anio! Maybe you should make some better ones yourself. Or Starstreak.... His pics are the best!
  7. Heck Yes! This is probably one of the best B-models i've seen in the last years. Even the stickers seem to match! Great pictures. Now I can't stop thinking about getting a second copy.... Maybe as a next thing a small movie?
  8. Great review! This brings back one of the great models from the past! I do remember that, way back when in 1999, i had to fight off another AFOL to get this model. I really love the model with the gull-wing-doors. It was my favorite for years on, untill i got my (second-hand) copy of the 8880! I do wish that there wil be a new Supercar soon. (maybe Nathanael Kuipers Conceptcar which looks ready for a Lego Factory release!!)
  9. I got Nathanael's Silver Sportscar on display for years on now! I really love the model. He build the model (with the parts of my set) for me to get in on display on brickworld 2004 (Could be 2005 aswell..... got a bit of a bad memory about this!)
  10. Finally, after waiting for so many mounths, my copy arrived last thursday! Had tons and hours of buildingfun. It took me allmost 1.5 days..... I'm a slow and patient builder Had to eat, sleep and recharge the battery of my camera, you know! This IS a magnificent model. A true flagship and totally worth the €122.50 i spent on it! I really love the gearbox! It is so complex. 4 functions on 1 L-moter! The crane arm works like a charm. (Thanks to StarStreaks tips!!!) Only wrecked a few 12t bevelgears on using the outtriggers, but (with a few tips i got from the brickshelf-community) I got that problem tackled! 4.75 stars out of 5
  11. Fantastic review! Blackbird didn't spare the whip on TLG..... But i'm going to get it anyway, because together with the 8284 it makes a great display! And that is worth a bit of money. (I only have to put in a few extra hours at work!!! ) Hopefully the AFOL-community will get us a trailer (or anything else) that WILL take advantage off the unused functions.
  12. Thanks for using my stich-foto. The 8063 is going to be "a holiday-season special" in The Netherlands. Available in december only. More pictures at Parax's Brickshelf" Visit his Brickshelf
  13. Great review, great pictures of a realy fantastic model. It makes the wait for my own set to arrive so much easier. Thanks! Can't wat for august the 18th.....
