  1. I think it is in the way you present your supercar. With just one picture it won't matter what parts you use.
  2. This is great! New theme for the Technic Challenges: LET'S GET IT ON!
  3. Don't think it would work on a truck trial, but I definitely think it will go really fast! BTW: it looks a bit like my little old Dune Duster which I entered in the LowLug Wacky race of 2010...
  4. This is so much fun! At that time I must have build every model of the first two books! I was in total awe with the truck!
  5. How are thing going with the instructions? It has been a while since we heard of it...
  6. The rest of the creations are original (or at least heavily inspired) MOCs!
  7. I have to agree with efferman! Don't underestimate the TFOLs!
  8. Nice "Classic" model! This takes me way back when....
  9. You got to be kidding me! This is fire engine is probably a model inspired by the 8067. Don't we all get inspired by models? Never the less I thing you're right: (even with all these problems)The Technic Challenge is going to be a succes!
  10. There is still that "little" thing about the model made by Jurgen Krooshoop!
  11. This is too bad..... I do hope that TLG will remove at least the two finalists who just sent in the original pictures of moc's by others..... I can (kind of..) live with the finalist who redid a model... (At least he/she gave it entry it's own twist....) I do hope that TLC with change the way of "how to enter". A simple way of doing this would be an extra picture to be submitted which shows "you and the model you made". I know this wouldn't keep the whole sheet of entries clean but it would help a lot!
  12. @Nequmodiva Thanks for the Pdf instructions!I was a fun little build! (and you made me save a lot of money; with this model I don't have to get me the big version...) This is a fantastic piece of MOC-ing. Keep your MOC's coming!
  13. And the fun we had! Thanks for the great movie! Here's a picture of this year's racers...
  14. @ Nubsy: Good luck with the steeringwheel MOD... Please do not forget to share some pictures!
  15. @ Legolijntje: Fine job on the instructions so far. The quality of the PDF so far is great. Far better then some of the pdf's from TLG we've been seeing lately! I hope you will finish them soon.
  16. And that is why ,I ordered me some of the Technic no4 connector in LBG, I got the DBG version.
  17. Of course you are talking about the no4 connectors.... There were two of those in the power pullers set! The 1x6 thin beams were in that set too, but as a unique part as well! But then again i would not how and why some of the parts we are looking for appear out of the blue in big(ger) quantities on BL either.. Would love to here these sellers story about that.....
  18. And even more off topic...... The complete set goes for even more! Back on topic: Hope you will find your parts for an expectable price... Me, I've been looking for some parts for weeks and weeks. Prices varied from € 0,75 to € 0,25 a piece... I even tried to get some at Lego Direct and was sent some parts (Non of them correct btw, so i didn't have to pay for them). Finally yesterday i found the part at € 0,03 a piece. So keep your hopes up!
  19. You're making one of Crowkillers models? Well it's a sellers-market on these parts...... And when you think this is expensive..... Check this part out!
  20. It's a fantastic set. Even when you are not a Technic-fan you really will enjoy the building process and the final result. Please explain!
  21. This video drives me crazy.... All the functions are flashing by. Wish TLG had made it a bit slower or concentrated on the functions!
  22. That's great! It is alway so cool to get an old motor working again! Was it "a leap of faith"? or did your mother made an "executive decision"?
