  1. Hopefully we get to see some updates on the buildingproces as soon as possible. The things you've shown us look fantastic.
  2. Here is another option for locking the slidingdoor on the chopper. The friction pin goes only halfway in de liftarm, but its holds just fine. And you all might have seen my PF-switch placement.
  3. Well done! Can't wait to see the video.
  4. Got the helicopter yesterday. Couldn't stop building. Here is a photo with a size comparison with models 852 and 8068(b) This was totally worth the wait. Edit: Added a PF-switch. I really don't like to work the switch on the batterybox.
  5. @ Jovel: Very, very nice. I'm impressed with this "C-model". Nice speed. And a working steering-wheel is a big plus!
  6. I never had any bad or strange reactions to my Lego hobby. Not even when I was an teenager. The power of "creating" your own toys (or MOC's) usually made my friends more jealous than anything else. Strangely i've had more problems defending my progressive political ideas in a conservative groups of friends..
  7. Just do what i do. First the 9396. I've been crazy about this set since the first pictures. It got som new fastastic blades and has all (but 1)functions done by turning one little knob.. So lots of gears and switches. (All functions can be PF-ed later on.) Then the 9398 but since it is very costly and is "just " a car you can get it for christams..
  8. Did some recoloring on the a and b-mdel too.
  9. @ Aussie BJ: A few photo's might help us to determine if anything is wrong with your set. As far as I know we haven't had faulty sets like you mentioned.
  10. Awesome video's! Usually Video's like these take away the fun of building; these only want me to start up as soon as possible! But oh.... the time is going slow!
  11. Awesome reviewand video! Thanks! I'm very impressed by this model. With a bit of luck I'm getting this set next monday/tuesday. Can't wait to get my hands on it and start building...
  12. @ Blakbird: Thanks for the review. Excellent work as always And like some others said before me: "Thanks" for putting this on my "got-to-have" list......
  13. I really think that builders like Crowkillers, NKdesigner, Sheepo and Mahjqa are able enough to submit a model which can be built in LDD and won't have elaborate buildingtechniques and still will be bumped from Cuusoo... For that reason: Booooo to Cuusoo... Still: I hope that we will get a technic-modell from Cuusoo and I will keep supporting them.
  14. You will be able to get the new (PF-)parts at S@H once the set is out. (Sometimes even earlier...)
  15. This is a total outrage... Got to have this model. Hopefully i gets it 10,000 votes on cuusoo!
  16. I'd really love the return of the technic idea books... Or a model(buldinginstruction) build out of all the parts of the 1h sets.
  17. First of all: I can live with the final score. Maybe some of the upcoming TECHNIC contests could be: A) build a c-model of a set. For instance: the upcoming 9396 helicopter. B) a free building contest, but the model must contain a few predefined (non-technical/system) parts. C) a ldd-technic-parts only-contest with a maximum in parts (easy to control.) D a model-team contest. Furthermore: The "knights of the round table" should have their way in selecting the best 10 models. Public frontpage (and out of Technic-subforum) voting is a must.
  18. My biggest frustration: The constant battle: not having enough spareparts(and lots of models on display) and having enough spareparts (and too many room for models to display)..
  19. This is great: so many functions pressed together in one highly original model! Great job! PS: Do we get another movie about this model driving in it's natural (the great oudoors) habitat?
  20. That is funny; Just did a yellow version the other day...
  21. Well that is probablably good news... The better be, if they weren't there wouldn't be anything for us to talk about as of augustus...
  22. This mooc looks so nice! Remember to slow it down a little. We have to tow a trailer and do some trailering.... Here's a picture of the trailer during some of the midnight (and highly classified) testing i did
