  1. I think the "bio-hazard" clones are just scuba clones, as the gunship shots in the background look the same as the ones from the earlier trailer. I can see that the shapes in the background in the gungan vs. Grevious duel are actually just a crowd of Gungans after looking at this new trailer. At the beginning of this trailer, clones "riot perhaps" are going down in an elevator, and you see the back of someones head, looks to me like Whorm Loathsom from the movie's battle of Christophsis. I also can't wait to see what I'm pretty sure is Admiral Ackbar. Thanks for the new Trailer though!
  2. one idea I think could be interesting, but not fair to people who wish to enter but only collect SW, would be to have a "parallel universe" contest, where you could make a ship from the star wars galaxy, but make it in the style of another theme. And parallel minifigs as well. Just an idea though.
  3. I'm more interested about the dates of the Lego Store Toronto grand opening! And I'll get an extra minifig the first time I go. AWESOME!
  4. went to my local mastermind, they still had series 2 figs for by three get one more. So I bought up the rest of the spartans , then blindly picked a weight lifter! They had an overflow of series three figs, and three boxes of series four which were marked up to a staggering 3.50! I'll probably wait a bit before acting on the series three and four, but I don't think they'll do the same BOGO deal for series three since they already have series four out
  5. To be fair, you could just raffle it again. Or you could just keep them all for yourself, thats what I would do
  6. whats the name of that gungan from blue shadow virus? oh yeah Peppi Bow, she was pretty stupid to me. Personally, I kinda was hoping that the blue shadow virus got out and killed all the Gungans, but they managed to quarantine it by the time it hit Theed. , I know, I'm evil. I'm pretty excited about the Mon Calamari arc, and the ships look of Mon Calamari design, and pretty neat at that, but I couldn't see lego making them cause the ships are all fluid, and lego, is well, bricks. I don't like how the preview touched mainly on characters we've seen, like Dooku, Anakin, Padme, and Grevious, though I'm kinda okay with Grevious if he wasn't getting, (for lack of a better term), raped by a Gungan. I personally wish they just showed us new stuff. But at the same time, I'm glad to see those aqua droids weren't just a one-shot appearance, it makes much more sense this way. And what is this about more Mortis? please, no more. But if it's true, I'm pretty sure theres a guy behind my school who could help me "enjoy it more"
  7. I don't care about the lego!!! what about the hello kitty merch!!!!!
  8. I think thats definitely an option, and yeah, I'm especially proud of the snot on the back! I'm really glad you like it!
  9. The title says it all. I recently found a large quantity of invisible bricks in a tub from before my darkages, I brought them out and began to build, turns out I had enough bricks to build an entire life size invisible boatmobile! I had to haul it outside just to take a picture of it! Pretty damn sweet! Comments or Criticisms, but before I get any heck, I know that the front end looks a little "un-finished" but I have a bricklink order coming within a week or so, I'll update with better pictures then
  10. I hope you don't mind that I answered different points by using different coloured type within the quote.
  11. Where did that come from? I assume your talking about Kiel's MOC, I'm pretty sure his intent was to create a BARC speeder, but that's just me. As for you going for accuracy and making your model "perfect" rather then his, well, that sounds like a jab to me, it may not to you, but the Internet is a very tricky place, you may talk to people from where your from like that, but others may not and so much gets lost in translation when your just reading statements from people you don't even know. (no disrespect to any other countries) I think people are insinuating that fallenangel and yourself are the "accuracy gang" and more or less everyone else is the "as long as it looks good" gang, and people don't want to see this erupt into a bug fight, which to me it already has a page or so ago.
  12. wow, I can really see why they made a separate topic now. The model looks really good! The illegal connections are slight and they don't hinder on the appearance to much, which is something I like! The size looks good to me too and I love the colours. The only part I don't like, and this goes for a lot of other creations, is that you split the legs to have the clone straddle the bike. This is entirely my own issue though. It in no way hinders the model. But as a personal preference, I dislike it. I can't wait to see your updated pictures, I'm not sure it can get much better then this, but you always surprise me KielDaMan!
  13. I agree with Cloney on this one, I definitely see something gang war related here. Emperor "Everything that has transpired has done so according to my design" why are we fighting about this? The Empire is winning! I guess thats fair, I understand how hard it is to not come off as biased when you have a firm stand on one side of the argument, but I respect you for keeping an heir of staff like procedure while doing it And I agree with your point, minute details arn't anything to get picky on, its not a big deal at all and I agree with you on this too. I agree here too! I think Cloney hit the nail on the head here (how many times has that line been used in this topic?). These are all my views on the subject. Minute details are nothing to get picky about, criticize in a positive way, and if it doesn't look a thing like the source, be nice about it. Case Closed.
  14. I like the idea of this dissucusion not cluttering other topics, I'm all for that Criticism should only be taking to a certain point, and I think a simple "PM me if you want me to go into detail" might be a nice way for those who want the extra criticism to get it without cluttering the forum. I think this could work out to be beneficial to everyone. As for your last point, I think its all up to the person, in my opinion, your statement sounds a little biased. I think it is all up to the people in the situation, some people may like the added details, some people may just want a fun little ship they can fly around. Don't tell me for a second that you've never looked at a moc and said "man, that looks really bad, it's very inaccurate" I'm pretty sure we all have at some point. So, I think people should either just not post at all with criticisms or just use my above idea, because I agree that the clutter in MOC topics is getting a little out of hand. That being said, this made me laugh Thanks
  15. Ah, and so young kiddies, we enter the wild, wild, web! Thats the Internet for you
  16. Screw your lego collection, what do you have in the Hello Kitty department? I'd be interested in all of that stuff!
  17. Congrats to the winners! I'm sure those Boba fetts will find I nice way into your collections. I'd be lying if I said I was okay with the results , oh well, next time
  18. I really don't want to step out of line here, and I hate to go against the staff of eurobricks (fellows are staff right?). But in all honesty I feel as though this thread seems to have been made to just bash Fallenangel. Correct me if i'm wrong, but that is the message I'm getting from this thread. As for the question, it all depends on what I'm building, I rarely make SW mocs based on anything from the universe, there mainly just ships of my own design. However when I do make a ship in universe (speaking of which, I have a pretty good one laying around that I should upload) I want them to be accurate, but to further illustrate my point I broke it down into a list, 1 being most important and so on 1. Colour 2. Shape 3. Details 4. Scale 5. Functionality (play features) I think most of you may not realize the amount of effort and work put into creating mocs as accurately as possible. I haven't done many accurate ones, but I'm currently working on a stun tank made accurately (it's reminding me of something I'd compare to Dobbyclones work) and it is pretty hard, I keep pictures with me while I'm building, and I'm implementing new techniques that I haven't used before. It is a rewarding experience for me, and I imagine other mocers, like Fallenangel also want to take pride in their work and get the same rewarding feeling I have. I guess this is reasonable, but are you suggesting that when we post a new moc, we should say, "comment and criticize, but don't actually criticize, I'm happy the way it is" or "comment and criticize, go on, I can take it". I know that for the majority of mocs, people ask for criticisms, so that is what they should be expecting to get, whether it be one sentence, or a lengthy paragraph. Sorry in advance if I have offended anyone. I really don't want to cause trouble.
  19. Ugh, I thought that was real for a second, scared the (bleep) outta me. I think you should look okay. I've started playng through Arkham Asylum for th third time to get pumped or this!
  20. Yeah I agree with you Penguin, I hope you don't look to modern gangster, I also really hope that your top hat and monocle are lying around somewhere.
  21. LAST SECOND ENTRY Boba Fett on a pile of bones of all his enemies, no one can match the pure awesomness that is white Boba Fett! It's 11:11 in Toronto right now!
  22. I don't know, it seemed kind of forced and unnatural to me.
  23. Since 2007, TlC has been producing "battlepacks" with each year of Star Wars sets. These battlepacks were a quick, cheap, and effective way to quickly build up your armies. A battlepack would normally consist of four minifigures and a small vehicle, with the exception of droids and turrets. To accurately determine the best battlepack, I have split the judging into three distinct criteria 1. Minifigures, the number one reason you consider to buy a battlepack, consider the army building potential, the uniqueness, and the want factor when choosing 2. Pieces, many are known to "whore" out their vehicles for parts, which battlepack is the best "parts pack", consider the MOCing potential, the usefulness, and the rarity 3. Design, is the vehicle/turret worthy to take space in your army? which design is the most appealing to you, consider the army building potential, accuracy to the Movies/TV show, and playability Please vote, and state an opinion as to why you voted the way you did. I'd like to get as much feedback on this as possible. Below are pictures of all the battlepack's throughout the years. I look forward to reading you opinions! **I will update this poll when new battlepacks are reviewed and widely available, not for preliminary images
  24. These look really good! Nice subtle details. Keep up the good work!
  25. I dunno, it looks like two completely different prints! I don't know the answer, but it will be interesting to see. If you are unhappy with it, you can always email TLC and they will send you a replacement.
