  1. Finally have the chance to say thanks again for letting me play Jim! I always wanted to get more out of these mafia games, and in games before, I'm more of a floater then someone who is out there finding answers, so I wanted to see if I could play this game a little more aggressively then past games, but it appears as though I traded in my brain to play more aggresivley , yeah, definitely not my best performance, but this was my first time trying to do something like that and I learned from it, so I guess thats okay, hopefully in the next game I play I won't lose my head. Oh and most of the things I said Zepher sent me in PMs were lies to cover up how big of a hole I dug myself.
  2. I would love a chance to play! I've been in several mafia games and I guess you can see how I play from there. Can't wait to see the game unfold and I hope I can be a part of it! I'm on a mobile now but I'll be happy to answer the questions and edit them to my sign up tomorrow if that's okay. EDIT: sorry for the delay, I was feeling a bit under the weather earlier and hadn't got the chance to visit my desktop, but I'm all better now. Now to get on to the questions. 1. I hadn't really heard of fabuland before I joined eurobricks, and to be honest, it always looked rather funny to me. I do like the layouts made for the conventions though, its very different styles that seem to work well when building at a different scale then system which I am not used too. But after a quick search on brickset, my favourite set would have to be set 3683 amusment parkbecause of the ferris wheel which looks really cool IMO, and the crocodile guy is really good looking, and is that a slide I see? 2. Definitely, can I have the country of origin? you're is the combination of you and are, whereas your is referring to something that you poses, (ex. you're a good friend, and I like your magic tricks) there is to refer to the location of something, not to be confused with their, which is again referring to a possession, and they're is the combination of they and are (ex.They're both librarians and their books are over there.) To is a preposition, and it is used to describe the relation between two different words, whereas too is an adverb used to stress or define the given verb (ex. I want to come too!) 3. I have no scheduled outings within the next 30 days that last more then 12 hours

    Canadian Eh?

interesting, hmm, well that does give me more time to put a resume together though
  4. I guess I just have a weaker stomach , it really freaked me out though, when the guy picks up his own arm!
  5. I'm really in love with your moc here, it tells a very nice story and I like your band of heroes! And the detailing and action that you've managed to capture are really superb!

    Canadian Eh?

This is what originally thought , I'm still not sure if its a good idea or a bad idea though, my gut is telling me that the employer would want someone who knows about the product athand, but I don't want to come off as a know-it-all type.
  7. I saw that movie when I was like 10, cried for an hour, then had nightmares. Definitley wouldn't recommend it to anyone under the age of 14.

    Canadian Eh?

Yea, I've got references from the paper route I used to do, and the camp where i was an LIT (leader in training) but wouldn't it look good if I knew a lot about the product in question? Thanks for th reply though!

Hey guys, I'm looking for some advice The first Lego Store in Toronto is opening in Sherway Gardens, which is right in my area, and I was thinking of applying for a job there. This would be my second job and I am entering grade 11 this year, do you guys think it would be a good idea to mention my love for lego? I don't want them to think I'm just looking for the job to get a store discount (though that is a nice bonus ) but I do think it would be the best possible place for me to work. So what do you guys think?
  10. Yeah this Moc is pretty good, but to go with what KielDaMan said, I think when people use those SNOT 1x1 bricks on the corners, then attach 2x1 tiles to them, it looks really good on oldish buildings IMO, I'm pretty sure you can find examples of it online if you don't know what i'm taking about, but keep up the good work!
  11. ohh, mind telling us what the model was of?
  12. . (for those who are not invisible, I said happy birthday in Invisible Font)

That display has been up for a while, and there is no sign of a mountie figure, if anything, you could hope for it to be in the collectible minifigure collection. But there is nothing real yet.
  14. a humble 366, but considering all the ones I've gotten from friends and ordered online, I'd guess at around at least 375
  15. Yeah, I was wondering about that, I was gonna say something but you beat me to it Your not alone, I was fighting the urge to take my cousins Boba Fett, and I already had one! Yeah I probably would've done the same, were there any Bossk's? I would've taken those too, uh, I feel so bad

    Canadian Eh?

Yeah, it's definitely just a because I can thing, If you go by that logic, then the US should have the same prices because lego isn't made there either. It's outrageous IMO especially when looking at SW sets, those are price increases. But theres not much one can do about it, so theres no point arguing it, but it helps to just say something and have someone agree with you.
  17. I know this has nothing to do with the clocks, but why does luke not have his Yavin Costume on in the DK book?

    Canadian Eh?

Hmm, I'll call up sherway tomorrow, thanks for the details!
  19. Thats really tough, but I'd say go with the Millennium Falcon, as you haven't got any previous renditions, and it really is the most iconic ship in the SW universe. It's definitely a must buy, plus, I think it will be easily modified, and it would look better in your collection of SW vehicles, rather then having a bunch of SW vehicles and a single pirate ship sticking out like a sore thumb. But then again, the Pirate ship looks really good, costs less, and to my knowledge has more pieces, but if it were me, sure I want it now, but it may just end up on my shelf collecting dust. I'd say to wait for some reviews before you make a decision, a second opinion on the set is always nice
  20. Is there any specific reason you gave the day thread the sub-title of the band Breaking Benjamin, or is it just a coincidence due to BTCM's name?
  21. He looks weird with the wrinkles under his eyes, and his mustache looks a little to gruff, he looks like a bad guy from Prince of Persia IMO.
  22. Yeah I'm still wondering why Eeth Koth's head piece looks like he's wearing a cracked eggshell over his head, with horns on it.
  23. ugh, I now this isn't the place to rant about prices, but I'm gonna do it anyways why is the sith infiltrator $89.99 CND?!?! It looks really half-assed on the pictures of it, the bottom is ugly, the speeder is , and just the price makes it so terrible, it's a 30 dollar price hike for the Canadian dollar, even though the Canadian dollar is around the same value as the American dollar now, that is the biggest rip off ever, and the "storage" area is dreadful, its just a couple plates! And Qui-Gon doesn't even look good anymore! These prices are just getting ridiculous, whens TLC gonna stop with the increases? Will a set like Ewok Attack eventually cost $50? It's so like TLC to raise the prices exponentially on their best selling line, and IMO completely unfair, hopefully people can see how they are being ripped off when they compare sets in the toy store, cause this is just sad IMO. Sorry for the rant, but I feel I needed to say it.
  24. not really as I have already stated I am not familiar with Tarkins back story, so any story they can come up with may go well with me, so I am once again going to remain hopeful.
  25. What a cutie! Glad to hear everything is going well! He certainly is a big guy, thats very good, you have a beautiful healthy baby on your hands! Hope everything goes well in the coming months, and take advantage of the fact that you have an extra set of hands around the house, get some rest cause you got a lot of work ahead of you, but you probably already knew that
