Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display

If i had that many, I would use the really colourful ones to spell something out , but seriously, that is a whole lot of clones! -
ohh ohh ohh, scouts banner looks very cool! I think I may change my vote, I loved Hoth, and the snowtrooper doing the face-plant is priceless

I followed the link from Fallenangels x-wing topic, you asked how the forum felt about your comment. And I think you handled the situation well KimTit's funny how little communication there actually is on the Internet, and how people can easily misunderstand each other with just words. Reminds me of a book I read, John Wyndham's the Chrysalids. Anyways, I think you handled it really well, and it's great to see that the moderators here on EB take there roles very seriously (but that doesn't mean they can't have fun as well *looks over to mafia thread* )

I really like Rufus's banner, mainly becuase it has something for every SW fan, prequel, original, CW, UCS. And over all, it is just really well designed!

Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Holy Grail
sok117 replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in LEGO Licensed
To be honest, this looks way to much like the original set you modded it from, I see a little bit of work done on "beefing" it up, and a few pieces switched here and there. But all in all, it just looks like the same thing. Your figures look okay, but that Mando face looks creepy on anyone . If I were you, I would go about this in a totally different way. Take out the traps that you want to use, then start from scratch with your pieces, and put the traps in as you see fit. Also, I don't see the floor, which I guess would be really hard to do, or the leap from the lions head, which shouldn't be that hard if you have some trans clear pieces. I hope you keep working on this, I would love to see a decent looking Grail temple. Oh, and maybe do a front entrance/ facade -
I remember that movie, its's pretty old, no? Yeah, I think I watched it when I was 8. Pretty good movie from what I can remember.
-
ohh, shoot, I would've answered the Godfather before but I thought it was new comers only I never would've guessed the Hot Fuzz one, but I love that movie.
-
The easiest way to answer the question Macoco, is to just go with the one you wanted first, usually your first decision is the right decision.

sometimes, thats half the fun. But I guess it's hard for builders who only buy SW to make a good creation using town parts for example. I think this is a good idea.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
sok117 replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I think I found one, but I'll have to wait for the guide to be sure. But I'm pretty sure that the snivvian that Ashoka talks to on the Trandoshan ship was Snaggletooth a.k.a Zutton who was seen in Mos Eisly in ANH. Other then that, it was a pretty good episode, the hover cars were pretty cool, and I especially liked the climax when Kalifa dies, and the Lizard was screaming and firing his gun, pretty decent drama for a kids show. Also, way to reuse Hans line Anakin "don't get cocky", tsk tsk Filoni. -
I should be having my first trip to a lego store in may! I'm going to the one in rockafeller center when my family goes to NYC. I'm so excited , definitely gonna pick up some pick-a-brick. I wonder if there will be any new summer sets while im there . So excited!

wasn't there a dot system? To feel them out, I say r4-g4 has got the right idea, usually the shields are easy to feel for if you bend the package to feel the sides of the shield, you should be able to run your fingers across the entire outline and make the shape perfectly. For the rapper, go for feeling the boombox, just a thick block, but make sure you feel the handle too, cause you may confuse it with a pair of legs. hope this helps!
