  3. I be up for going, i live near and have an annual pass I am going this sunday if anyone is up for it
  4. Thats wicked, i would love to see the instructions for that!
  5. Lol if it sells i list my ones lol
  6. Thanks Dave, I was thinking of doing a display at my parents house or mates but as you say, its too far away!!. I need to take a visit to IKEA
  7. I just been looking at nxt 2, wish i got it off ebay when it was selling for £129. I thought the color sensor would be the hitechnic one but its not, has anyone seen them sell this new sensor anywhere? Also will the models instruction book be put online?
  8. All of the childhood lego was sold by me sadly and so all of the current lego (500 kg +) i have brought over the last say 5 years. Saying that I think I got even more than that, I going to start bagging and tagging models and storing them in large containers but its where to put them lol. lego is soo much fun EXCEPT I hate having sooo much lego but then still find bits i dont have. Last night it too me ages to find a special colour 1 by 4 plate lol I hope to eventually give my lego or my kids if they want it (and I have some lol)
  9. I keep the boxes in the loft, I have a crate or 2 full of binonicles as i have no where to display them, i use the top shelfs of my kitchen cabinets to store lego (lol) and basically a ton of bookcases etc. I am now filling up a sets of draws as the shed is full I like the idea of changing models every month or so but that would take alot of work
  10. If I can get enough bricks I plan to build a full size lego shed to put the lego in lol Worried someone would nick it lol
  11. I have too much lego, I need to find better ways of hiding it in the house until I paid for the wedding and able to buy a bigger house. I thought I would never say it but jesus its everywhere. I am thinking of building a lego bookcase (have a small one at the mo already) to use up the lego and to then put the models in. I also thinking of taking some of the models apart and storing them unbuilt (harsh I know) Has anyone ran in to similar issues and come up with some super plan to sort it And no I am not going to sell any of it (yet) lol,

    DUST

Just got back from hols and noticed how dusty my models are, i think if I had to clean each one by hand it would take weeks / months. What do others do? Uses compressed air?
  14. That looks really neat, i have the issue that i dont just collect technic and so, i have 50 litre containers full of some parts lol ( 2 full of flats that I not sorted yet). I basically need a bigger house. Lego is in every room of the house (except bathroom) and takes over a middle size shed lol
  15. Well once i collected the first 8000 sets i think i worry about the new ones lol
  16. I been listening to this LAM Radio podcast and they mentioned about this 800 page lego book, just got myself a copy and should be back when i get home. Paid £20, is it too late to ask if its any good. Anything that lists 8000 lego kits cant be bad
  17. I want to build a lego shed (similar concept to the lego house i was involved with) but smaller. Just want to see if anyone has some bricks (in the uk) that they dont need and would see very cheap so 2 x4 and upwards and in any colour
  18. Really i thought it was expensive, my bad
  19. This just seem a pure rip off http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/JOB-LOT-OF-CASTLE-LE...=item4147e11827
  20. Maybe post a link to it as I bid on it as long as you ship to UK
  21. My friends and I are driving rubbish cars (under £300) 3000 miles to Barcelona and back for charity. Its to help a little girl learn to walk again. Should be a good laugh too. Dont know if anyone is interested in reading about it. http://www.crapheapchallenge.co.uk/index.html
  22. Welcome mate, as newish person, this place rocks!
