  1. I like the idea of a farm. It will fit in with the riding school and the stables. I just hope we get more new figures other than the core "friends,"
  2. I like the idea of these recruitment sets, if they're like the midi scale versions. With the exception of the UCS Falcon, system scale models just don't look quite right.. So if you're looking for a cool build and a nice display piece, the midi scale is perfect (admitting that the midi Falcon was a bit off). I'm very curious, and hopeful. I have enough MF's. Give me a great looking model.
  3. You know, what I like about the Speedorz is that they show the characters using them for actual transportation during the shows.. So even if you don't play the games, the Speedorz are functional vehicles for regular play, too. It seems for versatile to me than the Ninjago spinners.
  4. I'd like to see some more Joker Henchman in the Joker set. I wish we could get some Riddler henchmen. I would also like to see Nightwing, but without the Exoforce hair. Anyway, thanks for the great info!
  5. Great job! I like the scene with Batman and Catwoman out back. Can you post any close ups of the interiors?
  6. Because the gorillas are cool, Dude.
  7. I love the Tumbler! That's a great use of those doors. Great job.
  8. I picked up Cragger's Command Ship today. It's an amazing build. Regardless of what anyone thinks about the Chima "theme" or "story" this Ship and Gorzon's striker are two of the best sets I've seen this year.
  9. My CMF gorilla is packed away... Isn't he the one with the sweating face? Perhaps he's nervous because he's found himself in Chima! Love the gorillas, dudes!
  10. Love the skunk! As a matter of fact, I picked it up at TRU today.
  11. I like this set. I think the wider Batmobile looks good, but I'm not sure about the windshield. I'm also not sold on the dragster. Seems like the Riddler overall needs a little more love from Lego. He seems like an afterthought in these sets.
  12. I wasn't interested in Chima until I got the promo sets. My two girls loved them, love the episodes so far, and the rest is history. I was the one, not them, who wanted to go to the local TRU the past five days to see if they had Gorzon's mech. They finally did today and I was thrilled!
  13. I'm 45 in December, Lightningtiger, so you're not alone! Could the back part of that Batmobile be a play feature that's raised up to shoot flick fires? Perhaps in normal mode that hinges down flat.
  14. Great job! I always like the mix of technology with history. Of course Stormtroopers would find themselves in historic places sometimes. It's a cool juxtaposition.
  15. Great pics, guys! Happy Independence Day! My daughters and I finished up the day with a DC Superheroes vs Villains battle! I was the villains, but of course, Batman and company won.
  16. Congratulations Brickdoctor! A well deserved honor!
  17. Wow, looks like you guys had a great time! We have a Hofbrauhaus here in Pittsburgh, USA, but I wish I good have seen the real thing in Munich! Thanks for the pictures everyone.
  18. I found the Tonto polybag in a TRU outside of Pittsburgh today.
  19. That's great. I would buy a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang set. That brings back some memories.
  20. I have trouble with the hinges on the lid. The clear yellow plate always wants to come off rather than open like it should. I'd love to find a box....! I do have my original instructions though. This is my favorite set! Now, THIS will be fun to watch!
  21. Rufus, you made my day. In my opinion, this Classic Space line holds up against any other Lego line- licensed or otherwise. Maybe it's simpler. No back printing or two sided heads. No fancy molds. But, it's simply amazing. You did a fantastic job, and I think I speak for all of the kids who grew up in the late 70's early 80's when I say THANK YOU! , , and !
  22. I saw the Chima set we received in TRU today- didn't look at or memorize the price, though. Even for those of us not into Chima, it was generous of Lego to do this.
  23. Does anyone know if a Hasbro figure would fit in this cockpit, or would it be too big? Maybe someone will customize an x-wing pilot using those old pre- minifigure people.
  24. Thanks for the review, Rufus. I was going to ask where the bathroom was until I saw Chet in the pond. This would make a great little "outbuilding" that Chet could use as a study, or studio, or something like that. This isn't my favorite Creator house, but the more small houses the merrier.
  25. I got the Chima too- nice of them to throw that in.
