  1. This is my favorite! Well done.
  2. Hi Skandinavc. First, really unique model(s) and great reproduction of the real thing into the Lego sculpture. I am having two concerns about this: 1. This entry does not fit the rules of the contest. It is, at the end, not crane. It is a rotating sculpture of the cranes. We need to have a functional crane that has, among the other functions, a winch of some sort. By winch I mean a way to hoist some load. Your sculpture does not fit there. I know you have built it to mimic the real sculpture, but it miss a point of the contest. If you could install a simple working winch in your cranes, it would fit the rules. Otherwise, it would be unfair to the others. 2. Was this sculpture built and showed before publicly?
  3. That is a very nice set, although maybe a bit tough as a first set. Have fun building and browsing the forum!
  4. Welcome! I also enjoy watching movies, probably more than I should!
  5. Hey, welcome,. This is indeed different! Great!
  6. Welcome and have fun!
  7. Welcome to EB!
  8. I understand that. I simply pointed that scale is closer to 11.5 than 1:8.
  9. This is somewhat "grey area" entry. It is ok to enter, but fact remains that this is a striped bulldozer, with added simple crane and counterweight. Idea is nice and different from the others. Will you try to match colors at the counterweight? Maybe all black counterweight would look good.
  10. I am very eager to this monster doing 20+ kmh! Very nice work on the truck. The trailer does look a bit to tall and wide, but you said it meant to be that way so you can take cars with it, which lead me to the scale. It simply cannot be 1:8 scale. The tractor unit is just a bit longer and wider than the Mustang. In reality, the tractor should be much longer than a Mustang. Mustang is built in 1:8 scale here. Also, tractor unit is 27 studs wide if I am not mistaken, so it translates to 1:11.5 scale, if the real tractor is 2.5 meter wide.
  11. Hi Hanso, you presented a great piece of machine, in which is obviously invested lots of time and effort. Unfortunately, it seems that you have presented this machine here on EB after you have already show it on Lego World Utrecht 2015. According to the TC8 Information topic, this is not allowed. So, this model cannot be entered into the competition. This is to make sure that every model in this competition is build for the competition.
  12. Smart use of parts! Nicely done!
  13. Me too :) Thanks, man! :) Yes, but most probably I will have to give up my "advance" 4 section boom, which should have been a star of the show. I just dont have the time to implement it properly. So probably it will be done on time, just with regular boom.
  14. Looking very good. I enjoyed observing its developmentg process. Well done!
  15. Welcome! You should write some info about yourself :)
  16. Welcome to EB!
  17. Those are are really awesome mocs! Welcome!
  18. Welcome!
  19. Nice mocs you got! Welcome!
  20. Discussion topic is the topic where you present your model, it is the topic where we are now. Once you finish the the model, you need to post it in the Entry topic, and, beside other elements, put a link to this topic, so the voters and judges can have more information available.
  21. Thanks Kman! Short video of the single cabin feature. It has extendible walking grill and slideable door and inside is hidden motor for tilting the whole cabine when it is up in the air. Please note that custom stickers (black thin windows frames) are just a mock ups. If the time allows, I will make fully fitting ones on my comp. Dashboard of the cabin is actually printed 3 piece dashboard from the real LTC crane.
  22. Hi Patch, First, welcome, and hey, impressive crane you got there! Regarding your question about the entering to the contest, here is a list of the elements your entry has to have: Entry name Short summary of the functions. One or more images Video (mandatory) Link to the discussion topic Also, one of the requirements is that your entry is new, never posted anywhere before.
