Gotha love this one! It has everything. I like the video of it, too. When I look at your brickshelf page, it is clearly you had a long way until this master piece! -
Hi Zblj, Welcome Do I know you from somewhere?

I am also fan of shorter posts if they truly represent the opinion of the poster. I believe that shorter posts attract more attention and people will in most cases read it whole. Also, do not see nothing wrong in posting something like: Hey great MOC, I like this part. I prefer shorter posts, and adding question or some sort of non-offensive advice, like: Hey great MOC, I like this part, do you plan to make that part on that spot? Maybe you should put that here. It certainly keep topic more fluid and attractive, and guy who started the topic has nice feeling of being creator of something which attract attention. Also, what is the point in getting higher post count? People always seek for respect. Does someone who has 1000 posts is more respected than someone who has 100? Maybe, and yet maybe not if 100-post person has instant recognizability among the forum, either for its MOCs or for its respective replies. For me it is best for average member to have mediocre post count and well-known and trusted username with good amount of effort behind him, which is a recipe for respect.

Technic Storage Systems

I knew you have great number of sets, but this is extreme I like your perfect organisation of the sets, I am that kind of perfectionist with my parts. I like to see there is more people ready to invest great amount of time to organize things like this! Question: Do you have problem with dust on your sets, and how do you solve it? -
No Viper can match my 32 HP Renault 4

Review: 21004 Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum
Milan replied to Inconspicuous's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Great review. I do not like the price, but it adds something to its exclusivity! Set is interesting, but overpriced. -
Welcome, have fun!

Yea it looks pretty much as the original, it is extremely hard to capture those curvy slopey angles in lego. You did good job!

Yes, this is very nice. I like the clean lines of the truck, combination of colors is very well, my favorite, i can say. for the pallet, maybe you should build it like 4x4 plate, EUR pallets are approx that dimension in minifig scale. Pallet Jack is nice, i would lake it longer by one stud. I like this setup very much, currently my job include working with pallets and pallet jack, so it is very nice to see it in lego

Danim, just look at the picture of the real truck you provided, feel its lines, shape and proportion. Imagine that you are walking around it. You need to have imagionation of how the final model will look like. Unfortunate, your model is not very similar to the real truck. So start from base: rough shape and color. Front half of the truck is red and taller than back one. Next it has top part in windows and yellow line, which could be 1 plate high. Second half is a little bit lower and completely gray, or light bluish gray, if you have that new color. If you are familiar with SNOT I think it would look nice if you could use plates to cover walls of back half of the truck. Details comes next, but only after rough shape is achieved. Front half for example has rounded edges, you did it with 1x3 white curved slopes, good, use this approach for other details. Wheels are different at front and back, When I was building 8 wide trucks, I used to put thiner tires at front an fatter at the back. Taking photos: try to capture all angles and to be well focused, and the whole truck should be visible. Tke 10 photos of same angle and chose the best, well focused one. In some other topic of yours I suggested you to take photos of 3/4 view, which is exactyly the view of the photo of the real truck, It is the best because it lets you to have a look at the most of the vehicle. Use it on your model. All of this is when you want to copy a specific real model.
