  1. I've never manged to got one...back then BL did not exist. I just had Lego catalogs which I carefully absorbed! This seems so tiny and cute, back than it was really huge in my eyes
  2. I read this just because I like to read reviews... This set sucks. But, it may get its audience. Those who didn't see first tractor may find this appealing. Excellent review, Blakbird!
  3. Old topic, but worth reviving! That second vehicle-Rickshaw is just awesome design.

    MOC: Fire Engine

That is an nice lego fire truck! It looks good proportioned and nicely designed. I would just change 2x8 red plate on sides with 2x(1x8) tiles to achieve smoother look, and remove one stud off the yellow roof (the one with flashlight, and move them one stud back) I do not like the smooth and sloped roof covered with that one stud plate.
  5. LEg GOdt! And welcome
  6. Hello, and welcome, Eldervampire!
  7. Thats a good philosophy, Welcome!
  8. One hi res picture of the new tractor from Brickshlef: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4057126
  9. It is 8 wide! I just like how red line goes with the red wheels! Awesome. Did you mix up the light bluish and grak gray colors on purpose (lack of parts of right color) or you just did not spot the difference (it happens to me sometimes )
  10. It seems to me the latter is more plausible.
  11. It is better to just follow some rough proportions as said before. What crane do you want to build? Mobile or tower crane? I have some experience in building cranes both minifigs scale and 16-24 studs wide, so I may be of some assistance for you in this project. In minifigs I used 8 or 10 studs wide chassis with best results.
  12. I like the white one. It is maybe too big, but nice idea!
  13. Exactly, looks like a big relief Maybe he could not find the right bush!
  14. Welcome, DarkFader! It is gooood feeling to get back to Lego after dark age!
  15. I have this set and it is one of the favorite for me. Car is the best, it does not have car-base-piece its tall and very nice looking, and together with trailer and boat make a great yet simple vehicle. I was so excited when I got this set!
  16. Sorry for my quick and badly formed post. I watched a movie few years ago, when some people got their car stuck and they had to ask for help in some dark-alley garage. And the rest was pretty bad for the guys from car. Anyway, great! I like the graffiti, too, and those details like garbage and fence!
  17. Welcome, GhostMerc! Have fun!
  18. Great! I like these restoration topics. How do you like the truck?
  19. Well, the best idea is to try to make something unique, your own, but if you ran out of ideas, you can always try to contact people who done it, via youtube, i seen couple of that MODs there. I have motorized few older sets, and it is much more harder than it looks on first glance, so you really need to lower your expectations, especially if this is your first MODing. Generally, motors would never fit exactly where you want them to, movements will be too fast, with no place to gear it down, etc. Plus it is pretty small set for so many function, but it can be done.
  20. looks scary, if you do not know what are you doing you shouldn't enter it!
  21. I am glad you are building with Lego! I mean without your models, Lego builders would really lack great design techniques! Great plane.
  22. Hi, QQS Welcome, nice creations you have! I like your knight and tomb creation, it somehow reminds me at the moonstone the game!
  23. Those letters need to be typed really small, and at the end of the contract ! Ah, i get your drift - you are going to pay workers with your sets! For my first salary, i 'll take new loader!
  24. Hey Hey Hey, those jobs are mine, boy! I am going to report at 7 a.m. tomorrow morning!
