  1. Many, many brilliant vehicles here! I always look out for your work. I like some others really like the blue fury, probably because I own the original and loved it then. Its a very good smaller scale version. Keep em coming!
  2. Very good work!
  3. Excellent work, really like the use of 1x2 plates on the exterior and also some great interior details. Well done!
  4. Some very good parts usage here. Very impressive build. Keep up the good work!
  5. Dark blue would be lovely. Perhaps with a bit of tan mixed in could make a nice combo imo! Just got mine today and as 'Pazoozoo' says the box is pretty big, seems shorter in length than the GE etc but nearly twice the depth!
  6. Mine is on the way, im pretty excited to build it as at present there isnt much else this year that I am looking forward to. The dark orange looks great, even if pictures will never do it justice. I wonder what colour the next modular will be? Is a sand yellow too obvious?
  7. Looks great from what I can see in the vid! C'mon TLG and hurry up, take my money and bring me my town hall! Also, does anyone else besides me make the minifigs last? I always find its the 'icing on the cake'!
  8. Nice work! Charming using original colours! Reminds me of the ice cream van in the Lego ideas book but I think I prefer this one.
  9. Well done, the photocopier is particularly good. I like the way the ground floor and first floor merge together, nice use of colours. A very impressive structure indeed, certainly worth the wait!
  10. Great work! I particularly like the fascia on the B&B. Considering the large use of blue all the buildings go very well together!
  11. Excellent work, I am planning to make some cars of this era to compliment my street scene. These would fit in my town very well indeed!
  12. Hmmmm..... is there a definate release date? I am going to the US later in the year so maybe I might hold out until then and save a few quid. But I will probably just give in and buy it sooner Maybe Lego are just testing the water with this one, if sales are high with this one then the bar just gets raised for next time. Lego know AFOL's whom have money to spend can afford to spend a little more on something like this than say the regular city range etc. At a guess the next set could be a 'corner', the GE was pretty large and imposing so whats the point of doing something the same or smaller, I would guess it will be bigger again! I am happy to pay the money for a set like this but I will probably spend less on other sets throughout the year. If modulars are to continue to get bigger piece counts then I am very interested to see what TLG can do! On a separate note that 'haunted house' a couple of seconds in looks very interesting!
  13. Agreed. Buy both! I was a little bored when building the GE on the top two floors. I did them first to get them out of the way. The end result was an excellent looking building from the outside though! I really enjoyed the PS build. A generous amount of reddish brown and sand blue was very welcome. Having said that, I bought an extra GE just so I could have more tan which I needed for some MOC's as it is a good parts pack. It is still however sat in the DHL box it came in!
  14. A neat and tidy MOC. The metal bed, the bare and cold walls. Sums up the sadness when you go into a hospital. A moving MOC, very well done!
  15. I just ordered enough bricks from PAB to get the free shipping rather than pay for delivery on bricklink. In particular I got some 'Dark stone grey' 2x2 tiles for 6p each wheareas it was 10p+ on bricklink for larger quantities. Also got some plates with rails for alot cheaper. They have also got brown 2x2 windows of which I bought plenty. There are definately some savings to be made on PAB just not on the standard 2x4 or 1x8 bricks etc!
  16. Well done to everyone for entering. My votes; 1.Brickmaker's Shop by tatertots - 1 4.Inn by Dix - 2 6.Bicycle Shop by Darkblane - 1 23.The Blue Snow Store by gcanik - 1
  17. Green grocer is definately my favorite. I just sold my spare one, so now someone else gets the joy of building it! I like it because its not symmetrical. The bay looks fantastic and I remeber when I first built it I thought there was a really nice selection of figs included. The interior detailing is spot on. Still cant make a better radiator than the one in GG. For me CC is second followed by the GE.
  18. This was my very first set I got when I was 4 so I have very fond memories of it! Think I got 6522 the highway patrol shortly after. So it set up a nice little scene in my then small town!
  19. Looks to me like those new mudguard pieces are used well just above the windows. Gives a nice subtle effect. I certainly will not complain about getting alot more windows! I feel it looks better on its own rather than next to the other two modulars but ill build something that fits in next to it! I will definately get this set! I would take a guess its due out soon if the pet shop was anything to go by, pics came out very late, just before release. I Guess it also spells the end of the FB as its not in the group picture.
  20. Hi everyone, sorry the repost in an old thread but im in the process of taking this my Georgian Terraced house apart but found some old pics in a folder that I didn't want to show originally as the railing is raised at the front but the quality is a bit better as the light was better that day. So here is the last two and probably the best quality, if you ignore the rails You can find the rest here with the interior etc. Enjoy
  21. Excellent work! What is the room depth may I ask? I really want to make a building thats open at the back but was concerned if it was too deep there would not be enough light coming through from the front and wouldn't look great. I think this is pitched perfectly and thats the effect I want!
  22. Very original idea, some nice techniques, like the snow effect. There is alot going on considering its only one main model and not separate structures which I like! Best of luck!
  23. I hate having a 'mad panic' when I cannot find a brick, think its gotten lost somewhere opening the packet or that it was missing. Then after 5 mins or so realise it was right in front of me all along, then I feel daft!
  24. I really like these sets, not bothered at all if CMF pieces are used. These sets are fun, kind of camp and a bit cheesy like Alien conquest IMO. They have a retro feel about them. I was in my dark ages when the last monster/stuidos sets were out so I missed them but I will definately get a few of these. The hearse and castle are my favorite, I particularly like the castle turret pieces in black. They will be great for MOCS. The man in the bowler hat chasing after a hearse, with a sword, on a motorbike is so wrong its right!
  25. The mine is pretty cool, lots of playfeatures! but most of the other city sets ill probably give a miss, have to say im also underwhelmed at the hospital - Meh!
