well, i did not buy these today (it is still 9.30am in Singapore). but the past 2 days, after getting a box of the Series 8 minifigs, I have been on a hunt for the Lederhosen Guy. managed to get around 15 of them.

Wow! Awesome! I like the brickwork on the 1st storey of the buildings! The subway tunnel is really well done and realistic with the passenger tunnel! Do the passengers know of the danger lurking a few walls away?

MOC: Cecilie's collectible minifig vigs, series 6
streifen replied to Cecilie's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That is 1 great giant vig! I like the butcher best! Mind The Pig! -
Your facade is a real killer! together with the interior, the details are just GREAT! the brick count for this MOC must be mind-boggling! Sorry for a dampener...how do I go upstairs in your excellent building? cannot find the lift nor the staircase.

that meat rack looks good! Is that room the chiller? I like the sliding door you have made!

Great interview! Interviews/articles on the behind-the-scenes are always interesting to read/refer to. Give us, or at least me, a chance to put a face/voice to the people behind what has intrigued us.

MOC: Olympics London 2012 - 100m race final
streifen replied to Teazza's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Great MOC of that race! Where is the finishing tape? what's next? his 200m final? -
Your 1st picture with the Danger sign is so hostile! Looking forward to your updates!

Awaiting your final pictures and layout! Further to that, just one word to describe what i have seen so far: ENVY

Flower Power! A hippie would not have felt out-of-place on that colourful train of yours! Is that a buffet car I spied in the last picture? Good luck to your entry!

Considering the amount of bricks you have used, I think it may be cheaper to get a table-tennis table, 2 bats and 1 ball. Overall it was something I did not expect to see when I saw your title initially. Next up: Andy Murray at Wimbledon?

For quantities of bricks, Creator sets are the best to get. I think, short of going to Bricklink, Creator sets will have plenty of same-colour bricks that you can use. for example, the Log cabin has plenty of reddish-brown bricks. Diagon Alley is good in that it has numerous parts for detailing of your custom-builds.

The review, with the comparison of the "real things", is great! This is one of the best LEGO sets, in my humble opinion!

are those "teeth" movable like the ones in the movie?

The police station is my favourite! It has the "modern" modular look and the old-school classic look! I like that you have managed to squeeze in a garage for the station! 5-0 5-0 here they come! here they come!

Congratulations to all winners! and participants (including me)! The quality has really been stunning and amazing!! This has been a great contest experience for me! Thank you very much to all who voted for me! I really appreciated that! Moderator/s, maybe you can have this contest (in this format) as an annual event for Eurobricks. But maybe increase the number of prize winners ( 3 per category?)? Thank you for organising this contest!

The wheels at the centre part containing that connector (is that the right word in tank terms?) is cool! never thought of that. The scale looks right. where is the tank commander?

I can only envy you for having a room for LEGO alone... For the tables to hold those MOCs in the picture, the room should be of some decent (read: big, roomy) size.
-
Yeah. when I was there, it was just normal bricks. 2xX or 1xX bricks. if I remembered correctly, no tiles and plates. going by weight and sold by the bag (instead of cup) means you pay for what you can squeeze in.

With rhe release of Jabba's Palace and the skiff, I would luke to see more minions and henchmen of Jabba eg Ree-Yees, Weequay, etc. If not, it is just the usual culprits in the palace.

UCS Sandcrawler project has reached 10K supporters on Cuusoo!
streifen replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Star Wars
If it does have air-conditioning, incorporating it will push prices through the roof! Congrats on obtaining 10k votes! I will get this if it ever gets released! -
And maybe 1 stud to attach the runner to the display stand. Nice stand overall though!

Nice little MOC! Looks like your bridge drawing is almost done! The drawing table is really clever!

Wow! Wow! Wow! Your city is not just massive, the buildings are also great to look at! Is that in your room!? if so, that is 1 huge room!. when you mentioned WIP, I see that you have maximised the area of the table top, looks like you have to buy more tables before you start building!
