    Nerwen equips the medal of valor instead of the seal. She then heals Hoke. If Hoke is healed she heals the hero with the least health left in her section. Calling out to Heweyrt she says Perhaps I might be made lucky. It would be advantageous to have Seraphael guard us. battle order to come tonight when I get home ~8hr.

    Nerwen and Guts started at the same time. Which would you rather meet in the arena? Not all classes are created equal. Not all quests are created equal. There's more to progression than time spent or number of quests.

    Well, if Dyric and Matthias want to help I won't say no! Nerwen looks through the tower to those on the other side. Some heroes were holed up in the tower, others seemed like they needed direction. If it is possible to move to any unoccupied section, Gocklo goes to E.Front. If it requires the horse, he takes it instead of Nerwen.

    Sorry! Work day. Thanks for your patience. Ta for the catch. We'll just say Nerwen hasn't been watching that side closely enough to have good info on Raguel's immunities. Ta. I forgot about the 1 section per turn rule (thought we could move to any non-enemy occupied section). Now it's academic, there's no way Tesni will be revived in the next three rounds and if you guys don't finish off Cassandra and Raguel in that time I'll be surprised. And Bastala should drop before then, so the battle'll be over. Sorry Pep!     Nerwen remounts the horse. Speaking to Tesni's prone form she says, We will raise you as soon as we can. To Gocklo she says Go, find Jess or Benji. They will give you an essence to get Tesni up. Gocklo moves to Eastern Front Nerwen, on the horse moves back to the western front ready to continue healing Hoke.

    I think we will be able to hold the orcs at bay. But if you are going Mistress Cinna, perhaps you might move to the other battle and use your darkness spellspin to stop Raguel.

    not sure if it's you or I confused by the zone names. Nerwen can't STAY in the front, since she's not there and Tesni can't MOVE TO the border since she's there already. Nerwen can move to front, Tesni can stay in border or Nerwen can stay in border, Tesni can move to front, not sure which you're suggesting Orc territory (Bastala,Tra-Serrel) >> W.Border (Tesni,Hoke,Nerwen,Gocklo) >> W.Front (Cinna,Boris,Alexandre,Mirona,Baradock) The orcs will only move if they have a free hit, so we don't even need to have someone in W.Border as long as they're both targeted. Also, Afaik, Nerwen needs to be in the same section as Hoke to heal him (they are at the moment, but not next round).     So if the foxtail ignores positive buffs, does the skunktail ignore enemy immunities? Such as *immune to sudden death*? Or would that be way OP?

    Stop dithering Ablesword and do it! My feeling is both sides will finish this round or the next. We don't have a lot of time if we are going to get them up. It's possible that the QMs will make restocking available. Valentino and Heweyrt should have access to stuff particularly if asked diplomatically. If care for outmatched low level PCs doesn't win favour with QMs, what would? Or you could just give someone your 1up 'shroom.

Also Zeph. Imagine the seal worked and gave me an effect or two in a battle. And then I swapped the seal for a different artefact. If you'd take the effect away, then you're thinking of it like a perma-effect artefact. And when rezed, perma-effects come back on. That's why I think I should get another set of rolls to see what effects it gives. Of course, conversely, you might not think that I'd lose the effects if I swapped out the artefact mid battle, thus not get new rolls. Your call.

    I didn't get an answer to this before. Is being raised by essence like starting a battle for the purposes of the SotWP? There is a case to be made either way. A ray of light shines down on Hoke as Nerwen prepares to heal him.

    Hoke notices the horse still wandering around loose. Apparently Tesni was too focussed on her enemy to target something else.

    Seraphael, standing over Nerwen nods in satisfaction as the orcs fall to Hoke's whirling pole. As Hoke glances at her she looked down at Nerwen the across to the other front, clearly indicating the Elven paladin was needed on her feet.

    I've not been a QM. From a players perspective, there seem like three options. 1. Don't take consumables before battle. The QM (depending on which QM) will pitch the battle about right. Consumables can then be used for an edge or to accentuate role in battle. 2. Take consumables before battle, accepting that QM will likely rebalance for their use, giving a harder battle. And making it harder for fellow party members. 3. Take consumables before battle, betting that coming battle is going to be hard anyway (final fight of quest, boss fight etc) and won't be made significantly harder by going in with buffs. So, is it then a player (or party) issue, rather than a rules or QM one?
