Mafia School: A Bedtime Story - Day Three
Chromeknight replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Ok. I've been a bit absent. Sorry everybody. Man your fighting takes some sifting. But the good news is its made who is on whose side clear. Currently, Aladdin vs RedRidingHood is a game of he said she said. People are somewhat swayed by Aladdins claims, enough to doubt whether lynching his is the best thing for town. But not so convinced that anyone really wants to vote for Hood, just in case she's telling the truth and actually is the cop. As a preamble, I really thought Cindy's plan would work. And it didn't. Why? I can think of two reasons. Either the scum didn't care, thought they could take the heat, or they thought they could use Cindy's plan to lynch a townie. So, my thought is if I don't want to risk lynching the town cop but want to test her claim, lynch tole person that is so aimlessly vocal about her trustworthiness. Snow White. And not just to test hood but because, frankly princess you seem to have come off the rails. Aladdin tells jack a plan he's heard to kill jack tomorrow. You reply clearly you've grasped that Aladdin, if scum, has no reason to spill his scum-buddies' secrets and make lynching Jack harder. But then you step off the logic train and say that if Jack dies that incrimates the person who warned him?Why do you reject the revelation of this plan? Our answer is just a post or two later. Look at point two. Ignoring the name calling, you all but admit its your plan. You previously made comment about the axe and how it pointed to Jack, the same detail that Aladdin refers to. You are defending Red, the investigator, who has already said he planned to investigate Jack. Now that the plan is in the open you resort to name calling and threats of 'we'll get you tomorrow'Let's put your other numbered claims to the test. Yes there is a group of townies who trust each other, but honey you're not in it. Cindy cut you out. Said you had issues with keeping your mouth shut. ie, blabbing her secrets... As for a large group who'll defend you? You sure about that. I'm sure hood will. Possibly Puss in boots. And another friend to make a tidy group of four? Mermaid perhaps? And point five... Ah. The old OMFGUS. I called someone a scum, you defended them, you must be scum! Convenient. Now for those watching. I freely admit I might be wrong on this. I don't think so, If I am, we'll have lost only one more day andthe true scum will be unmasked, Aladdin and the guys he is trying to protect and make seem innocent. We'd have a clear run of lynch targets with no doubts about. On the other hand, if Snow is scum, we can roll up her cronies and put the game to bed. Since we're cautious about voting Red, let's see what happens with Snow. And don't forget. Money where your mouth is. vote:Snow White(LEGOman273) A dollar says I get an OMFGUS from snow. -

Ok. I've had a rough night, no thanks to you lot bouncing around and shaking me awake to tell me something new. Red. Yes, I can confirm that's what Cindy told you. But, given Cindy was a ditzy belville-ite and was wrong about wolf. and Pinnochio and Goldie (though yes, I had a hand in that too). ... given Cindy was wrong about so much, I'm not ready to leap into bed with you. Perhaps I'm getting paranoid in my old age. On the other hand. Aladdin, you're a twerp. Your play has been all over the place. It's no wonder people are lining up to lynch you... But you know things that make me wonder how you know them. Odds are you are scum, but currently I have six on my uncleared list so hopefully you can put up some flailing scummy defense that helps narrow down the choices. We've got time, so cough it up... -

What in megablocks?!?! Goldilocks is innocent? How can that be? Cinderella's case was watertight. Unless she was lying to us or keeping back information, which would be a scummy thing to do indeed. But now Cindy is dead too! And town! I think Cindy's broken scumdar is infectious. I feel like I was played, and good. But by who? -
Mafia School: A Bedtime Story - Day Two
Chromeknight replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
So, Charming. Balls are in your court, are you up for a game of "she says, he says"? Did you change the list? Does someone want to claim that Cindy changed the list to further muddy the waters? How about bear? Did he vig-kill the list and that's why it's wrong... But good to know, Goldie, you're bright enough to go for the obvious "hey look, I'm scum" ploy. That'd make you so much more trustworthy... -

There you go. Well done. Turns out Goldilocks has balls after all. As for trust. Answer this. There was a discrepancy between the list you quoted from Charming and the list Charming provided. WHY? -
Mafia School: A Bedtime Story - Day Two
Chromeknight replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Let me break it down for ya toots. Point 1. Cindy admits mea culpa for the lynch of Pinocchio. see her first post in today's thread. Her guilt is complicated by the lack of defense from pino due to family reasons, and the lack of a clear voice defending pinocchio, even though someone claims to have trusted her completely Point 2. Cindy admits mea culpa for the vig kill of wolf and lays our her case for suspecting wolf. Which is in part because of wolf's tendency to be untrusting and partly because wolf didn't know how many roles there were despite God having told everyone. Point 3. Cindy's relationship with the doctor. You know what that relationship is. You know how trust works there, and still you question it? As of part way through this game day, I was shown the pm chains that lay out that relationship. There is no gap, the method of verification works. Point 4. This verification extends to knowing who the doctor protected. He protected bear. Yet bear is dead. Do you need me to use a crayon to complete the inference there? Final point. Even you don't believe your own accusation of Cindy's scumminess. If you did you would have laid a vote on her... -

Well, looks like Cindy's power role is "wall of text" It looks like there is some information skipped in the summary, but it's likely not directly relevant. MaraJade/Goldilocks/DarthNihilus has a case to answer, has had one for almost a whole day and has failed to answer it so far. Voting is open right? Based on all that Cinerella has provided I vote:Goldilocks(Darth Nihilus) -
Even if they're Rodents of Unusual Size? Or the Giant Rat of Sumatra? or what about Giant Mole-rats?

Chromeknight replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Cindy's a thespian! Aside from the rambling nature of the accusation it does seem that Mara has a case to answer and has quite failed to do so. According to our resident cross-dresser here the blame lies at the feet of one of four people. Mr.Bear could have given the info away. But given he ends up dead that's not worth considering. James Bond could have given it away, but why? Unless he didn't protect bear as stated. But that's not the case (independently confirmed) Cinderella herself could be the rat, but Bond has verified her (again today I was shown how the verification works. It works). The final option by a process of elimination, (barring a string of freakish good luck by the scum) is the only other person who knew... Mara Jade. Would it be out of place to chant scum or dumb? Or is that trademarked? -

Post script. I realize that quoting Puss this way may out him as having broken the 'do not quote host PM' rule. If that is so, I am sorry. And wish to put it on record I did something similar in replying. If he is to be punished, I should be equally so. Again, apologies, especially to Puss. It was not intended to harm, but to vindicate you. -

Here is his reply edited slightly for brevity. Since I recognized portions of text, I was willing to extend trust. On reflection, I realize that such text can be faked and should not be taken as authoritative. But on the whole. I think puss is innocent. And that Goldie's case is suggestive and tendacious only, with nothing solid. A better question would be, why single out puss? From my conversations with Cindy he cannot have been the leak which lead us into trouble last night. The real suspect lies elsewhere, as Cindy has indicated. I'll let them make their case before weighing in again. -

I voted puss. He PMd me and I withdrew the vote. His private defence was basically... *big eyes, hat in hands, cute widdle pussy kitty, purrrrrrrr* don't hurt me, I'm cute. Since I was just pushing for conversation, rather than lynch (because pino was certain to go) I dropped it and moved on. Don't read my vote withdrawal as his providing solid, juicy help to town. -

Goldie did say about them, not too them. It is a terrible thing that happened. But sad as it is, there are a number of useful leads this generates. And there is still more information from the night to come in. We now have less resources, sure, but odds are it was simply a lucky guess by the bad guys. Pinocchio's death is more regetable as it was a group decision. Although based on seemingly strong evidence and supported by a lack of defence, it was I the end, a wrong decision. As useful as Goldie's work will be, combing through the previous day's thread, there will be more information buried in PMs about who encouraged who to vote where, and why. That information too will come to light. There is much to do today, and while the deaths are bad and we must acknowledge them. Saying nothing else in our posts is simply wasting time and creating bad impressions. -

I'd like you to go back over who voted what and try all that again. > as far as I recall, no one has voted then unvoted Pinocchio. > if no one has, clearly I haven't, either I'm badly mistaken, you're lazy or you're being loose with the truth, trying to slyly indicate that I did.. > as far as I recall, I have not voted or unvoted Cinderella. Possibly I'm too stuffed with chocolate to recall straight or possibly you're lying about my actions for some reason. (or you're just lazy...) Given those points, and that Pinocchio has the majority of votes, I will not nor can remove my vote from you. Even if I could you'd it's not about disliking your playing style. You have to offer more than lies and vain wishes. Next defence, try truth and solid reason. -

ZZZzzz *snork* Well, I wake up and no one else is around. Damn narcolepsy. I'm glad you've all been having fun without me though. But some people need to be paying more attention to what they say, there have been at least two big give-aways since I spoke last. No, I'm not going to point them out, I'll leave that as an exercise for others. Needless to say I've sent messages and will see what is fished up. In any case, a soft kitty, warm kitty has put my mind at ease. I unvote:Puss in boots(Dakar A) All that remains is to choose between bandwagoning Pinocchio, and putting him within one vote of the mirror or using my vote constructively to prompt more revelations from players on the fringe. I vote:White Rabbit (Alex the Great) You accuse those voting for Pino of bandwagoning but you were the third to jump on. Not near the start so as not to be suspicious, but just far enough in to be out of sight. And you offered no reason of your own, no hint that you'd dug into private messages to see what you could find, just following Cindy and Snowy. Could you please rustle up a defence that we all can examine? Thanks. Oooh! a hedgehog, they're so cute! shame their coat is so sp.....zzzzzzzz -

Zzzz *yawn* ok ok. You sure are a noisy lot. Thank you again people for the large amount of information to be sifted through. Especially the ones on my nightstand. And puss, you're welcome for last night. Although, singing 32 rounds of 'soft kitty warm ktty' wasn't really what I expected. But on the upside, that little metal knitting needle you call a sword was just the right thing to give me a little prick and a solid night's sleep. In mafia the rule is, vote early, vote often. Anyone who hangs back from voting is suspicious, after all you can always change your vote later. And votes are the surest way to put the heat on someone. Therefore I vote puss in boots your name has come up in too many pms and I'd like to hear more defence from you. Vote:puss in boots(dakarA) Votes must be in the correct format and boldest. Third time's the charm vote:Puss in Boots (Dakar A) -

Don't sweat being higher on a list based on post counts. The key is to get people talking. But equally hunny bunny, don't shrug and say there's nothing to go on. There's plenty out there already, and more to come I'm sure. I for one would like to hear more from the ice queen and the block head. It's fun watching them dig. Yes, I am awake. And catching up on all your chatter, and some personal letters that were slipped into my bed. Though I think some of those were just for an excuse to check out my lingere... I dont remember my previous castle being this chatty. Though If I remember correctly, I was the one shouting long and offen that silence hids scum. Of course, back then I was a bad 'un. Not that I truly think you are Cindy, but loud doesn't always equal town. -

Zzzzz *yawn* I'm awake! Seems like most of you have been up for ages. I'm a bit out of sync with y'all. Sometimes it feels like I'm in a completely different timezone. Anyway. Looking back over the conversations shows some interesting tendencies that will be relevant once voting starts. I count at least two that have questions to answer. Snow white for her "who's the doctor and cop?" line, even though she retracted it. And rapunzel for her "how many scum are there?" line. I'm sure I'll find more as I look. Back soon. Ps. Rapunzel, is all your hair long or just your head hair? -
Nerwen steps into the hall briefly to check the quest board as is her habit. Seeing a new quest that is not beyond her level, Nerwen signs up for quest 29. and then returns to the monastery where she is honing her meditation skills.

Wolfe, the story goes you ate little red riding hood? She said my what a big tongue you had. Perhaps there are other ways to have fun around here. *yawn* zzzzzz... -

1. I'd like to sign up. Although I passed a previous school, I was playing as mafia and would like some experience hunting mafia as well. (it's hard to see your own scumminess!) I am (or rather, will be) an articulate, available and commited player. 2. My favorite fairy tale is "the sultan and the parrot" . At least I think that's what it's called
