Fake lego.com or unfare commerce.
Tom Bricks replied to BatonMedved's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Regardless of wether or not it is fake do you think it works? Sadly their "PAB" selection is what TLC's should be, they have almost every piece there. Here's the sight translated to English -
Yours looks like it is in true minifig scale, and the binoculars for eyes is great. I used two of These and then put the tread around them. This means the treads cant move but I think it looks nice.

Thanks guys I replaced the photos with new one because the others where bad quality

I just realized that I had never made a topic for one of my favorite MOCs ever and my avatar, Wall-E. It's pretty much in minifig scale but it might be a little wide. Comments and criticism welcome.

So tonight I decided that i wanted to build something in miniland scale (for those of you that don't know that's the scale used in Lego parks). So I decided to build myself. I came up with two versions, one with everyday clothes and one of me playing basketball. The hair color is a little off as mine is very light because its rather short, and the shoes are way to small but other than that I think it looks like me. Comments and criticism welcome, larger pics on Flickr

This is my first attempt at anything post apocalypse and I think it tuned out pretty good. I built it for the Blood in the Snow Contest in the ApocaLego group on Flickr. It's kind of violent for my taste but the contest is called BLOOD in the snow so... Larger view is here on Flickr

Thanks I probably won't be able to get front or back picture for a while. The back is kind of boring and to be honest from the front it looks a little skinny.

Your right now that you mention it it looks really weird just sticking up like that.

There are allot of 1930's gangster cars out there but I wanted to make mine 4-wide instead of the usual 6 wide because then it matches all my other cars. I think that it gives it a classic look which looks kind of nice in my opinion. Taking pictures of this was kind of hard for some reason so there's only one but as usual comments and criticism welcome.

I was playing the old Oregon Trail Game the other day and decided to build a wagon for my Western Village. The people on the Oregon trail are very inspiring, the packed up as much as they could carry in the wagons and set across the continent for a new life. The Wagon Cover technique is from here. Comments and criticism welcome, more on Flickr

I voted black, I only own a grey one but I used to have the black one. I will never forgive my younger self for loosing it.

Can u mix and dismantle your orignal LEGO sets?
Tom Bricks replied to The Eye's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I can see not mixing heads from different eras- the older heads, the ones form the 90's and todays (not to mention those blank Star Wars faces) are all separate in my collection. There is something special about a "pure fig" so I keep some (batman and some others) separate but for the most part I have no problem mixing them. -
9 Year Old Suspended because of "LEGO" Gun
Tom Bricks replied to The Green Brick Giant's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The typical overprotective school. The principal deemed the ax less threatening, what he didn't know was that the gun wasn't loaded. -
Being not so far removed from childhood it wouldn't be as much of a stretch for me but all the Toy Story and then (older me) Harry Potter sets would have been great. I find myself wishing more often that the younger me had more money and didn't loose any of his Lego. There is still a black ninja lost in time that I still haven't forgiven myself for loosing.

Looks good but it's too bad that they can't be side by side.

Nice review. The only reason I'd buy this set is for the girl fig though. The limo looks too block and should be black.
-
Thanks everyone I'm glad you liked it. he didn't fit with the hair on.
-
No real story behind this one I just sat down and built it with what I had lying around. I think it has a nice "Classic" feel to it. Comments and criticism welcome.

I was watching a Western Movie the other day and I decided to try making the hats that hang round their neck in Lego and here's what I got.

What made you get out of your LEGO dark age?
Tom Bricks replied to BearHeart's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I have never actually had a real dark age, there had been times when I considered getting rid of my Lego but I never took any apart and would still buy anything that interested me. I would basically buy a set, build it and then not touch lego for a month. I was looking around online a year or so ago and found the new pirate line and this re-sparked the obsession that today takes up so much of my time and money. -
I like everything but the handlebars, The stud above the light looks odd in my opinion.

I'm not sure why this is useful really. I mean it's cool to see the official names but unless you print your own decals it's not really much of a big deal.

Thanks White Fang I always appreciate it. I just added it on Flickr.

I like to make SUVs of trucks six wide and cars four wide so I think it's a little small for an SUV.
