I personally like the sails but think they could be less flat. I absolutely love the back though, the windows are amazing.

I think you'd be better off building that yourself. It seem as though there are allot of simple pieces you cold get cheaply on bricklink, and then build it your self.A MOC of that size, and with that older, simpler style of building, wouldn't be that much money to piece out (compared to buying it), and with so many pictures you don't really need directions.

I love this show, I personally think the new season is one of the best so far. What do you think about it?

Great job! thanks for sharing your opinions. I defiantly agree, the Hogwarts express could have been better.

Good review for my favorite set of the Indy line. I just have one question in the picture of the back of the instructions it looks like it says go to www. for official rules? What is that all about?

Mine was High Speed Train I liked it but it was never that great in my opinion. I wish I had picked up some of the My Own Train sets but I never did. It is unfortunately still my only real train set. (I don't count the Hogwarts express)

Ideas for new Adventurers Sets
Tom Bricks replied to Tom Bricks's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I clearly didn't see that one. I guess someone can merge this then? I do like the Idea of the Johnny Thunder in the Wild Wet one in there too. -
I'm not really sure what you mean by this? Do you mean show as in TV Show?

I use 4 wide for cars and 6 wide for trucks/busses. This makes the interior small but I think it looks better compared to a minifig and to buildings.

With the Indiana Jones theme ending (I believe) In a few years we could be set for anotherAdventurers Line. Where should it take place? What kind of sets would you like? Should new Characters be added or old characters given an updated look? I would personally like another jungle theme set in South America, with the same cast of characters returning.

Airport Shuttle- it looks the most realistic, I would love to own any of them though.

My family is about 90% Irish and then the rest is part native American, English and French. I consider myself American though with an irish background.

What do you think is the ideal size of vignettes?
Tom Bricks replied to Siegfried's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I like the classic 8x8 and then 10x10. I do like vigs. that aren't square though too. -
I was making this same thing the other day! I decided I wanted to make a brickfilm and I didn't have any ideas for a story so I decided on a Sherlock Holmes story. I got partway through the room and then decided the walls would look good sand green and I didn't have any. This is what I used for Holmes but I couldn't decide on Watson. good luck if you decide to add more, I'd love to see it.

Oh no there taking apart the cars brick by brick and throwing them!! I am also off to your site to find out what's up.

Looks great. In that first picture the guy with the overall is one of the best uses of those basketball player heads I've ever seen.
-
This is one of those times when not really having a sigfig comes in handy. Because of this I'll put forth one of my favorite heads in various torsos. This head is easy to come by unlike the The other one (middle)so any fitting torso with this head works. Here are versions as: Robin Hood Sherlock Holmes and... A Calvary Officer feel free to whack me

Thanks I wasn't sure about the bigger one at first but I'm glad you like it.

In the early 1900's Sir Archibald Charles, the king of the seven floating islands, commisioned the scientists from the Royal Academy to create a power source "Capable of poewering a nation". The Scientists came up with a device, simply known as "The Machine". For years it has served as the power source for the nation, protected around the clock by the royal guards. Now the rouge inventor Phineas Hiram has come to steal it and harness the power to controll the west floating islands. A young inventor by the name of Thomas Kane has heard of his evil plan and has come with a flying machine of his own to try to stop him. Will Thomas Kane save the day or will Hiram send the nation into chaos? You decide! Comments and Criticism welcome. More Here

I love these if they are done right. In one of the restaurants in Disney World they have something like this. It's a model of an italian hillside thats about 3ft long and 1ft wide so its not very large but because it's built on a slope there are allot of details in a small space. I personally like these more than a bigger layout with open space but a more complicated track.

Looks Good! The size is great and it's even more creative to have built it from only the parts in one set.

I was originally building this for a contest on Flickr but I got carried away and went way over the 100 piece limit so This is what I ended up with. People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks. More pictures of the individual rooms onFlickr, comments and criticism welcome.

I was thinking of some more uses for the truck cover piece and I wanted to use my new army men so this it what I came up with. I think it's a decent parachute but it could be bigger. Comments and criticism welcome
