Thanks, I was going for that cute factor, The security camera thing is hard to use though as the studs are closer than usual so a regular plate doesn't fit over them Now that you mention it ....

These Are Not The Droids You're Looking For
Tom Bricks replied to legitimatealex's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Funny idea and nice execution. -
Looks slick , gotta love BP

Thanks guys, not sure if there really will be more, it might be really open ended. Probably PIXAR? I was thinking it did after i built it. I binoculars are held on with a hand, which makes them much sturdier than when it was just the other two.

A ship lands in the barren wastelands. A quiet wine comes from the center and from the top emerges a single droid. No time has passed for him along the long journey but time has passed. He knows nothing of his creation, nothing of the harsh battles that have torn this world apart, nothing of the crazed man that commissioned his invention, nothing of life in this world. He only knows he has been awoken, and waits for the orders he will never receive. Looking around he endless nothing. Something clicks within the tiny robot, and he hops away. Out in the wasteland he comes across plant, he doesn’t know why but he recognizes this object. He, almost unwillingly stomps on it and then, ashamed he has carried out his mission, hops away. Something shines in the nothingness and he hops toward it. It is a thin circular object that reflects light from a source he cannot see. The sight hypnotizes him and he gazes into the coin, for the first time seeing his reflection. On his leg he sees the numbers, (30162). He knows now that he has a name. To be continued....

Looks real, what scale is this ship in? It looks like microscale to me

There both alright (i don't really have a preference and probably won't but either) but why would TLC release 2 of basically the same set?
-
Not that i'm endorsing it or anything but if they come in separate bags couldn't you contact customer service. Conceivably a box could be missing one of the bags that was supposed to be in it, and therefore they would need to give you the missing bag right?

I have problems with this too and usually end up having to manually search for it. I never thought of googling it. Ironically that is usually the thread that i'm searching for.

D2C Designers requesting feedback for 2012 models
Tom Bricks replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
1.No i appreciate the models themselves, there mostly one color, i like parts packs that have a greater diversity of colors/elements 2. I buy individually, I don't really view it as a theme 3.Big Ben 4. I would like a set like Medieval Market Village (buildings, foliage, colors, and may minifigs) for more themes, maybe a Hogsmead Village for the Harry Potter theme. -
I have the Batman figure from the keychain. You wouldn't happen to have the Mad Eye Moody fig, Neville fig or any other Harry Potter fleshie figs for trade?
-
Nice bus, I wouldn't want to sit anywhere near that red haired cheerleader though.
-
I would like that too, The statue in the atrium, and the Department of Mysteries would be interesting. Not necessarily a set but i would like to see some scarred faces for Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Like other licensed sets it would be nice to have some diversity.
-
Where would you get the demo? Is it through Xbox live?
-
I know there needs to be some new molds for him and Sirius as a dog. It would help for every theme because they could all use new dogs.
-
I made a Pansy Parkinson with the Spalko head+thishair in black and Slytherin robes. Its based more off of what I imagined from the books, not really from the movies.

Does anyone know what the printed tile on the left of the die is of? I don't recognize it from anything else.
-
Mine go to #s 20, 17, and 16. great job everyone but these just stand out to me. Great contest it brought about some MOCs of wars that uaually don;t get much recognition in lego form. (with addition votes remain the same)

I think the point is to use existing pieced not modified ones. I use this torso+this head for Slughorn
-
I think your right i think i'll get this one, not to mention it comes with some good printed pieces including the Marauders Map.
-
Yes there needs to be a way to include students from every house, even if it's in some sort of battle-pack like set. I hope they have allot of the magnet sets for this too that would help in getting the figs. I cant wait until these come out.

I feel like its one of those children's shows where the main character is staring at the screen asking the audience to find something and it is obviously behind them. great job on the vig and i look forward to seeing the others.

I'm saving up my money to get all of these I can't wait. I don't really like Harry's new head very much but other than that it looks fantastic.

Review: 3053 Emperor's Stronghold*
Tom Bricks replied to Inconspicuous's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Looks good and great review. The inside could use something more though it looks rather empty. -
Thanks. I was almost going for a cartoony feel because I got the idea to build it from the Peanuts Comics where Snoopy flies in these kind of planes.
