  1. Indeed. My point, though, is that TLG could have done this model themselves, given the parts for it were clearly available in the set and it's based on an actual Liebherr model. The ingredients were all there! What this guy said.
  2. WHY WAS THIS NOT THE FRICKING B-MODEL? Seriously, with all the extra development time this set had, TLG couldn't do what took one of our members three months to do?
  3. When wheels and tracks fail, use legs! Looks cool, gonna follow this build.
  4. Yup, it was the Suzuki Vitara here in the UK as well. One of my teachers at middle school had an aqua Vitara with Right Said Fred lyrics on the spare wheel cover.
  5. I'm sorry, but if we don't get excited about a bulldozer that you can hold in your palm, then we have failed as a society. Seriously though, a set doesn't have to be big to be great. And it's probably one of the few sets that's gonna have a B-model.
  6. Several 2024 ranges have been revealed on Brickset so far; I can't imagine Technic is far behind.
  7. Next year's January wave includes a "Heavy Duty Bulldozer" in the same price range, so you won't have to wait long if all else fails.
  8. No problem. Looking forward to what you cook up next!
  9. These sets are great value for money as well, given that they include alternate models. Only thing is that you have to download digital instructions; there used to be manuals for the alternates, but they were phased out. Still, they're often worth building! The dump truck's excavator model is one of the best in recent years.
  10. One item to note is that all characters featured thus far first appeared in the original game and New Leaf. That means that there's scope for more characters appearing in those games, at least. Happy Home Designer subtheme when? I'd love Lottie!
  11. Cool! Hoping that part shows up in the 2024 sets.
  12. Same deal with 8459/64/39. That model perfectly demonstrates the essential workings of a wheel loader. What really blows my mind, though, is that the engine counterbalances the loader as the real version would.
  13. Very cool! Reminds me of just about every set from 1998.
  14. I'd just like to take this opportunity to reiterate my position. I DO NOT blame the designers; all responsibility for TLG's shit decisions lies entirely with the suits who rule over them.
  15. 8459/64/39 and just about everything from 2005 to 2018 would like a word with you.
  16. Rewatched Sariel's review. This thing really is one of the worst Technic sets ever.
