  1. I seriously started laughing when I saw this... its pretty funny.
  2. Can we use parts from the giant knights kingdom figures, as long as we are keeping the final models to the theme? Just thought I'd double check. I think Im gonna give this one a shot. It will give me a chance to do something with all those buckets of bionical sets I have, and get into another section of Eurobricks.
  3. I really need to spend more time in the SW section of EB. These are epic.
  4. ...so, once they get this fixed, "pink" knights may become a novelty years later? Obviously not like the red vader heads or other unique elements... but still, They are now worth noting in the annuls of Lego history. I suppose this is also what happens when you get more automated factories, with less humans to check for this. Oddly, now I want one of these!
  5. I want to live in that house!
  6. The hype, maybe a little overboard. I like how the figures add to the variety, but, I would have to agree that the plastic quality is not as good. (Also, i noticed that the hands on alot of my people dont match the arms/not the same yellow). (From US perspective) The Good: -In the US,they are $2,- cheaper then the small impulse sets, so good for building up my civilian population. -Some of the new accessories and hats are awesome. -(Pharaohs staff is my favorite) -Im not into painting, or using stickers, so good way to get some designs I wanted, that Lego has not made before. The Bad: -Distributing- near impossible to find in Idaho. The local Toys'r'Us only got a small shipment of them each time, and they sold out before noon....they cannot be found in other stores here in Boise....(I checked) -Cheaper plastic. -S@H limits how many you can buy from them. -Randomized...If you dont know the codes, then its hard to find the one you want. So, If you are a die hard figure collector, buy them all. If there is only one or 2 you want, go to Bricklink. If you dont care too much either way, buy a couple if they have them at a store near you.
  7. My only concern, is that Lego keeps its quality, and doesnt try to cut costs to compete with the others. as long as they dont, they will stay the greatest bricks in the universe.
  8. do you like other anime besides bleach and naruto? My favorite is Fullmetal Alchemist.

  9. I recently acquired a complete (minus the anchor string) 6274 Caribbean Clipper, I just picked up 2 of the farmer and wizard impulses from the lego store....and... Any day now, I should be getting my order of series 2 mini-figs.
  10. Congrats on the 500, and Ill add another late "welcome".
  11. Welcome! I liked your d-76. Its unusual colors for a spaceship.
  12. Thats a nice little army! They look so cool lined up. I kinda laughed when I saw the "helmet stands".
  13. Wow.... that is a rather impressive profile...

(now I HAVE to redo mine...)

I think of all the ones I have looked at, you put the most work int it so far...

  14. I love seeing your stickers here and there on EB. Thanks for mine! You are awesome!

  15. Monocle yes...mustache, eh, no...

  16. It doesnt look like any of the books are printed.... the owls are neat, and lots of rare colors to be had here. Expensive, but Ill grab 1 of these sets. Nice preview there.
  17. I agree that the old way they did the photos was neat. Also, I felt they showed the real Lego pieces better, and you didnt have to figure out if some of the poses were real or potoshopped/CG. Also, it is notable how with all their photo enhancing, it sometimes leads to what I feel to be mis-representing the products... For example,(In an old alpha team set I cannot remember its name, but the truck with 2 firing missiles, and the target stand) they have 2 springs in the exploding box in the picture, but the set only has 1, and in some of the early viking pictures, in the S@H catalogs, they have the axe-heads with full loops/not the clips. They put a fair amount of work into adding the digital backgrounds, and "lighting effects", but failed to notice their errors with the product. I spend alot of time looking at set pictures, to analyze their build and what pieces come in them, so the older style is better in my opinion.... Thanks for these scans ....brings back old childhood memories.
  18. The details are great. I like the willow style tree, much more of an "organic" feel to it then most of the standard brick trees... ...and I just noticed how you made the flowers, with the control stick bases. Neat idea. I do feel sorry for the poor lonely caveman.... must add cave-woman!
  19. It looks like the catwoman's head. I have that.
  20. The Force is strong with this one!
  21. I will definitely be grabbing one of these. Im not a harry-Potter fan (In fact I have never read any of the books/seen the movies) However, I need more books in my lego library, and the basic parts are usable. Thanks for the pictures.
  22. Looks like it will be an exciting action adventure type? or a murder mystery? ....and just as he was reaching the height of his film-making career, the poor crab had an unfortunate (tasty) accident with a fryer and a beach party.... Just kidding. (Oh riiiiight, ToRs over....) I really like the sets. and, I think you can still make the first one work just fine. I hope so! I want to see more now!!!
  23. Congrats to ya. (now, i could sneak up on him while he is distracted, broil him, serve him to the redcoats, and avenge us and take the prize all in one blow...) Just kidding!
  24. I have to ask.... Why the heck do you have a pink unicorn???

  25. These are very epic. The best ones, if I had to choose are Rex's, and Lotso's. I love how Rexie is posed over the wheel there, and Lotso's truck is cool. They are the most creative I think.
