  1. I have never been against knitting before but... Now you're gonna make me pick up ANOTHER hobby... That is cool.
  2. It will probably be too late for me to get one by next pay-day.
  3. This is indeed excellent news for sure. I am glad that is now certain. ...I know some people are arguing about the "unbelievers" ...but seriously, whether or not you believe this series will be produced or not will not change if it actually IS or is not. I chose to not get my hopes up and too worked up until I had more info to go on, and Im sure many others hold that view too. While by now there are actually official statements to go on, not just a single picture. I have seen many fake things on the internet before about things to be released by companies... If you go to Serebii, they have a whole section devoted to fake pokemon that people "leaked". Remember, not everything on the internet is real. ....aaaand back to topic.... I think the Pearl is a likely ship, as it would be insane to have a pirate line without a ship, and that was the iconic ship of the whole series. Dutchman maybe, but im not sure. I would be glad if they did have a couple of the ships though. My idea of what the sets will possibly be: (by typical price category-USD) $130 Dutchman? $110? Pearl - the flagship of the series...(pun intended) $45-$50 either a fort or harbor. $30 a smaller structure related scene. perhaps the water wheel battle. $20 battle over the gold. Interior, not the whole cave maybe? $10/$12 -wow, I cant think of a good idea for the small set. It could be something really random, just with a few figs, and the usual useless structure that was never actually in the movie. (anyone remember that small starwars sets like that?) And the ever wonderful $5 set. I place my bet on a Jack Sparrow on sinking raft! ...hmmm, well, with 8 sets, it could very well have multiple ships. We'll just have to wait and see... Plus, we dont know what scenes will be taken from the new movie.
  4. That is pretty interesting. However, some of the changes seem pretty drastic. But then, if you went through that many wars...
  5. Oh! This gives me ideas...
  6. That is a good design. Now that weightlifter dude seems more... useful.
  7. I like your sig-fig. a very good captain flint.
  8. Mine is at least in the 100k piece range or higher. I dont know exactly, because I tire out at around 50k usually.... and last time I did my brick census, that was bout half....
  9. Actually. i didnt have a tree on hand per say, it was more of a bluff... Its great to have fun new people! be sure to enjoy all the forums, or just the ones you're interested in. We would *cough* never ever really tie anyone up!
  10. Welcome to Eurobricks! the craziest place in the world. (maybe)

  11. ...I was just thinking I like how that mushroom was made down in the corner... Any interior pics?
  12. Welcome aboard! Do you like pirates? If not we tie you to a tree and hang you upside down until you do its ok. But seriously, have fun. (you could just cut 1 of the short wand/lightsaber rods and give it a pointy tip for a knitter figure...) Also, an old knitting lady would be good for something to stick in a house model or something.
  13. Welcome to ClassicPirates er, I mean Eurobricks. It sounds like you have some fun ideas. Please do share them.
  14. Oh I would......
  15. I cant wait! ... drat, I have too...
  16. Me personally, I am the 2nd generation lego fan in my home. I have an older brother who had several large Rubbermaid bins full. (Lots of classic space and castle there, even original black falcons fortress ) Then, I always requested Lego for my birthday or Christmas, and everyone knew that is what I liked... now Im 21 and starting college, but still build and collect lego. Now that I have a job, I also usually buy at least 1 impulse set every pay day, and then save up for some of the larger sets. ...back to the main topic: In some US stores, I am now finding these bins: manufaturer website While more expensive then the walmart cheap bins, they are lego licensed and come with a free base-plate...so you could subtract the cost of the plate, ($5 US) and they come out a little "cheaper".
  17. I suppose I should welcome you here, sis.
  18. Thank you for this review! I think its a good set for building an army of mummies. Also, I am glad to see new staff weapons from lego recently. The shields seem odd to me, but I guess they make sense. This is one I will probably get 2 of if finances allow.
  19. can I get a side of fries with my crab?

  20. I want an army of flying mummies!!! (I have no idea what I would do with one, but, I know I want it)
  21. Just stopped by to say I love watching your crabby avatars. I log in sometimes and then I notice, "Hey, the crab is a new one today"

  22. Hmmm... An opera house would be an interesting addition to any fort. Need to keep the soldiers entertained and all. I would want my fort to be huge, and have several walls inside each other(Each one higher then the one outside of it), complex gatehouses, and a big kitchen.
  23. I shall add my congratulations into the mix. ... Now where's the rum? No, seriously, I want it now! -just kidding.
  24. Just saw this on facebook. Amazing! (How many cannon battle packs was that????) (The bluecoats are not really getting defeated!...its, all part of the plan....er, something)
