  1. Thank you prateek! I hope these will not become abandoned projects and that I will finish them. I have a habit sometimes of leaving MOCs incomplete. Thanks lightningtiger! I am sure there will be more. Thank you! Boston Market?! mmmmaybe!? But no! haha Thank you! I see where the black and white awnings might be throwing you guys off haha. Keep guessing! Another hint: Their menu is extensive with a wide range and variety of items to choose from.
  2. Nice! I was at that store a week ago. Picked up a another winter bakery for 30%off and some pab cups. Looks like it's actually going to be a pet shop for the next one.
  3. Thanks for all your comments! I was careful to position everything in the city so that each MOC can be reached by the stretch of an arm. We live in an apartment right now, and if we want to expand then it will be time to go and buy a house, and dedicate an entire room to LEGO City. haha I have been itching to set up train tracks everywhere but there just isn't enough room right now. Only the future will tell! The trans blue tower is built in three sections..sort of modular like. I find myself wanting to closeline it from time to time. I think it would be marvelous to just crash into it hahaha! So I have a few more photos to share. No full city shots yet..sorry~! Don't worry I will take one eventually. Yet another fast food venue... Mainly just the store front right now.. And another work in progress 32x32. Can you guess which establishment this is going to be?! (hint: I always order the meatloaf at this place) MOAR to come!!!
  4. You did an amazing job with this airport. Unlike any LEGO airport i've ever seen. Lots of great details and full of trans light blue awesomeness. I love how the shuttle goes into the structure.
  5. lol at the cuffs and whip. I didn't see them at first but then read the above comments and went to look again. haha Very nice MOC.
  6. I have told myself that one of my goals is to build all of downtown Charlotte where I live. The main tower is the Bank of America building. I'm thinking about using a bunch of 1x2 profile bricks and lots of trans black 1x2 bricks. Recently, i've started working on two 32x32 restaraunt MOCs. One is a corner design for a Cheesecake Factory, and the other is a joint fastfood venue featuring a KFC and Taco Bell. Stay tuned for some updates!
  7. Thank you! It will certainly be a task when the time comes to relocate. Thank you! It's fun to mix them together. Thank you! Thank you! haha, just make room for it. haha, it's fun! and thanks!
  8. Excellent design! Those black 11.5x12 wheels are not too common.
  9. Wow that is a massive fleet! Criminals had better watch out!
  10. Lots of great details. I'm sure this is very accurate to a real BOC.
  11. The least expensive way to do this is to piece them together by finding the elements from different sources. If you choose to buy one as an entire unit... good luck. hahaha.
  12. Thank you! We find it to be a very fun hobby to share together. I will clean the city up and maybe reorganize it for an updated photo hopefully within the week so stay tuned! Thank you! I absolutely love eating at Chick-fil-a, great service and delicious food. Thank you! haha yes it does need a door. I found that the width of the vehicles that I build do not fit through the track pillars. There is a technique that I haven't shown where I found a solution to make a garage door that opens and closes. Maybe I will post that up. Thank you! It's a sticker printed on glossy photo sticker paper. I will keep the updates coming.
  13. Very cool project. Nice work!
  14. This is really awesome. Great design! What's next?
  15. Excellent work once again! This is great. It's funny, earlier this morning I was looking at google streetview on Rodeo Drive and getting thoughts in my head that it would be neat to see the entire street built out of LEGO. Someone should definitely do that. The studs not on top technique for the stairwell is great, and the display cabinet work as well.
  16. Thank you very much! Thank you very much! She did good. It's fun! We will certainly brick on forever! And thank you! mm those cookies were delicious. need MOAR!~ I also have some updates at this time, but none of the city overall. It's in shambles haha. The first is a simple townhouse.. And then I built a third version of the Chick-fil-a.. Appears to be not so bright inside.. And then last night I finally got around to building a stretch H2.. 12 minifigs are crammed inside!.. That's all for now. I'm sure there will be more to come as the ideas roll in.
  17. Looking forward to future installments. Snow days are perfect for building a LEGO city.
  18. Excellent work once again! I wonder what the next one will be.
  19. Nathan Sawaya said that he got a call from LEGO telling him he was a Certified Professional. Did they call you just like they did him?! I love your Quantas Airbus. Epic Builds!
  20. I feel like this set is discontinued now. Not for sure, but i think it is.
  21. This is some marvelous work here! I love the way you've built a nice base for an epic display.
  22. This is a great set. I bought this a few weeks ago and will probably go ahead and open it up after viewing your thread. Lots of neat things going on with this.
  23. You guys want to know a secret?! The MOCs i just posted were not all built by me. My girlfriend, whom claims to have never built a LEGO set as a child, built the majority of them. She used a set of photographic instructions that i made of the Coke truck to build the budweiser and diet pepsi. The ice cream truck she designed by looking at the SWAT truck that I designed. The redbox was designed and built entirely by her. The McDonald's was a team build, with about 2/3 of the work done by her.
  24. Very nice design. I love the use of the red seats. Those are a PaB element. When I was 13 I built a 4 wide octan pickup truck, with a trailer and a speed boat. I should find the photo and post it online.
  25. You've been a great moderator. Thank you!
