  1. Nowadays money tiers for GWP on S@H is completely absurd. I remember when they throw polybag for decent spending, but now these tiers are completely insane for most time. Yeah now these gifts are sets on their own, but I rather pay for this sets than spend these high prices every month when I can buy most of icons sets about third of price lower in regular online stores. Also lego icons cars, are now too much pricey. I remembered when these cars were under creator range and it was great. Now price/piece ratio is even worse than licensed set...
  2. This is for me exceptional series, I bought whole box and I found usage of all these figures in my dioramas. Baby Spaceman is probably greatest figure from CMF period.
  3. Its weird that people seek perfect boxes when buying new set. I think some collectors see this as excuse not to buy set. These lego carton boxes are cheap and intended to throw away so there are always some scratch on the way. Even they are damaged slightly by weight of set. I would definitely buy set even with some beating, bu it must be sealed. I never cared about new boxes, I only care about bricks.
  4. I bought a lot new set recently and never had to use knife, once... This is definitely weird..
  5. Simpsons were weird line and dont miss them by any means. Simpsons as sitcom are past their glory, so Im not interested in them anyway. Not mention theme consist of two hefty D2C sets and only minifigures were on regular sale. This doesnt help me in deciding either.
  6. We have still Optimus here for around 130 euro. Still no drop. But at least i bought brand new Daily bugle from sale for around 250 euro. Which is lower than any offer on bricklink. But this defender is extreme out of touch price here...
  7. Price in my country is definitely scary and in some way can compete with technic supercars. For same price I can buy here sets around 4000 pieces from 2021-2022 on sale. So Im not buying this sets, albeit looks good.
  8. Blind bag needs to go, whats even worse in full box of CMF there are exactly three sets of minifigures in predefined locations so they completely knows from factory what figures are here. Are they scared of some figures on shelf? Yeah me too to just buy it... Last series 24. was probably only, with only bad figure for me. So I bought full box without hesitation...
  9. This will be really good, I hope on par with Pyramid. Definitely looking into!
  10. Yeah and I wonder why 2018 freight train is everywhere full on stock. My bet, 2022 is S@H exclusivity and limited in retail. So they stick with 2018 freight train for others and call it a day. Maybe 2022 freight train is limited run. It still doesnt make sense, but lego works in mysterious ways. I bought 2022 passenger train, I cannot wait to put it on display, and be train sets free for 4 years. I want to buy cobi Br52, but Im lazy to deal with missing pieces. Its not fun, and its time consuming. Definitely not worth...
  11. Is there anyone interested in niche lego figures, that lego produced? I mean scala figures from year 1997. I want these figures and companion to brickbuild cars, and I dont know if these figures hold after so many years. These prices on bricklink are not exorbitant, but many listing says these figures are with cracks. I only have scala dogs, and never had any problems with that. I also have 19 technic figures and only one figure is in bad shape, but that one specifically is from 1980s . Are they worthy any time and money ? Thanks for help!

  13. This, in 90s there were like 5 colours. All parts from sets were mostly interchangeable thanks to this Now its like 5 colours only in one sets. Its even worse looking after timeline after 90s, there were so many different colours, shades with small runs. And now I completely lost track... Maybe I sounds like boomer, but Im having hard time looking at new sets as useful donors... Its weird building sets from other bricks companies and saying, hey lego used to be like that. Its even worse, when I get price, weight, number of pieces and quality into decision.
  14. Modern sets completely ruins reusability in MOCS. There is color coding/vomit for bricks, plates not full of studs. Its clearly they dont see them as parts donor to kids buildings anymore.
  15. I collect lego and I have playmobil. Im sure, that I say truth that lego stickers as cheap as I can be. Playmobil stickers are sturdy and there are no bubbles or If used with caution they can be applied again to make perfect position. All my technic sets around year 2008 are now with crumbling stickers, which is really bad experience. Before christmas I bought cobi set, with everything printed. It will be great set, If there wasnt two missing pieces. I never had missing piece in lego...Having no stickers, is something stress relieving and Lego can do better for price they ask. Sets without stickers is always great experience. I get to the point of picking sets without stickers, or sets when sets doesnt look bad without them. I only buy speed champions set, if they looks good without stickers. Lego needs to get rid of stickers at least for sets with high value. It feels cheap...
  16. Look at cobi, cobi is abandoning stickers. I just building 1:12 Škoda Octavia and no stickers. No mention its solid piece of plastic, not typical lego hollow structure. Im very suprised with this set... So far into building I not missing lego by any means.
  17. Im done with sets that lies heavily on stickers, all my technic sets have crumbling stickers. Some are only six years old. Whats wrong with them? Do I have bad conditions, definitely no, because I have playmobil sets that also have stickers and no problems. These sets cost a lot and sticker sheet for few cent completely ruins it. Definitely Im on way to abandon lego, I love building, but paying premium price for sets when they are cutting all corners possible is not my kind of fun. Lego gets 1+1 together, please!
  18. We have in our country some weird cut, where parts with lego are cut to few seconds. That commercial is super confusing here . Well all Rebuild the world ads are all kinda confusing. Lego used to have better ads.
  19. And not mention usage of specialized pieces even semi studded plates, these are useless in moccing. But they are cheaper that full studded plates. So thats it ...
  20. I have this collection thanks to my father, one box is completely emptied in MOCS and two decent box are prepared, but most of them are basic bricks. I still think 90s sets in s superior in terms of design and playability. These new ultra specialized sets destroy all creativity.
  21. Well my lego in boxes mostly consist of 90s lego bricks, and thats something really different. These bricks will be good even after another 30 years.
  22. No no, lego is actually making all sets smaller to fit price range without price increasing. I figured it, when I saw 2023 sets, is very obvious. No Im no mixing bricks, because is still know lego has value and still is superior in quality. So I have strictly room for Lego and room for something else. Its difference for me to pay 100 euro for 2600 pieces 1:12 car, to buy once and put it on display. And pay 250 euro for lower amount of pieces and same set purpose. There is so much mandatories higher than before, so Im not funding lazy company that did nothing to me.
  23. Small company from Poland can do everything than Lego cant, definitely its not for cost reasons. Now they have new rule they are abandoning stickers, they are doing rereleases without stickers, Im definitely shocked, its possible. Im seriously tired with lego price increase, its over the top even for me. They have now easy formula 100 pieces=10 euro and thats enough for me. I started to look somewhere else for my favourite themes.
  24. Even cobi is doing locomotives now, for 2023 they will have german steam locomotive br52 it will be compatible with L gauge and scale will 1:35. No stickers and price probably still be lower as aleays. Lego get your s*it together!
  25. My opinion, lego is loosing with big car replicas. Cobi has given 1:12 scale across whole category. Lego? Scale varies and thats bad. Cobi has basic cars, that milions drives everyday and that is for me good thing. Price and given parts all also very interesting towards cobi. And no stickers! Mind my curiousity, but I pull trigger when I saw our czech cars in 1:12. Definitely game changer for me. https://www.cobishop.cz/product/stavebnice-cobi/skoda-auto/automobil-skoda-octavia-rs-cobi-24343---/977
