I'm certain that more people would want the characters: Kids. That's what I meant: as a kid, I wouldn't have been able to get all the LotR sets I have now. I'd have some, and I'd be getting them slowly. Kids would be buying for the characters. LEGO targets kids, (of course) and so what does LEGO do? They produce sets that focus on main characters. I mean, the films (and the books, of course) are about these characters. They're what it's really about, not the battles, not the armies, but five hobbits on their own journeys. And even though I own all but five of the main LotR+Hobbit sets, I'm cool with getting mains. Because that's what I think the theme should be about.

As a kid, I know I'd be getting LotR sets for the figures. And the sets only get a bit dodgy in size and price between the $30-$60 range. Past that, they're sorted out. TLM is an exception, but so is Smaug himself.

50/50 is a decent approximation...I hope it's true.

These are all absolutely BRILLIANT! I'd sure love to see some how-to's! As in where to cut, what paint you used, etc. I'm usually a purist, but I am willing at times to alter some pieces, and I think these are all worth it!

So I'd heard about the results for the latest Ideas review a couple days ago, but today I decided to check out the blog post for the results. Halfway down the page, I started trying to remember what review this was, and if Minas Tirith was in it, and failed. I was very pleased when I found it wasn't, and it's going into review soon! Fingers crossed the citadel can kick the other project's megablocks!!! *fingers crossed*

A picture of the Scooby Doo Lighthouse set has surfaced, and there's a skeleton in it that has Balin's beard in light bley. I think it's brilliant, because it'll be good for customs of young Balin.

So, LEGO's doing a sequel video game for Marvel, and a new one for Jurassic park, but they have one question to answer: WHAT ABOUT BOTFA?!?! =(

Even though it's not the greatest, I'm 100% getting that Blu-ray. I've gotten every other of The Hobbit like this one, figures and all. It's actually what I'm going for for my birthday.

Well, I just bought The Lonely Mountain three months ago when it came out in October. The only BotFA set I'm missing is WKB.

I wanted to pay full price. It's a little ridiculous being annoyed about how few shops have it where you live, while ignoring the obvious shopping choice.

Gimli's beard won't fit with Thorin's hairpiece, I've tried. Though it's not ideal, Gandalf's beard may work.

... Even though the chances for exclusives listed are still possible, I'd advise against anyone getting their hopes up too far.

Yeah, I'm much more concerned about not getting it: I'd buy the DLC or even a seperate game in a heartbeat: I'm just worried it won't exist.

I think I'd like Thror over another Thorin, though either of those variants are still pretty cool.

*Sigh* Yeah, there should have been Ravenhill. Yeah, there should have been someone other than Bain. But I think the one thing that'll do any good talking about it is the video game. Seriously...we should all ask LEGO what the deal is.
