That he did! I like it! I'd like to see a full picture...not to STEAL it, per se, but...well...I could share with you my design for Thrandy's elk... Speaking of The Elvenking, I may just end up putting him in the Dale set instead of MEA.

I expected to feel like I wanted dwarven soldiers and such after the film, but I still don't mind too much. I DEEPLY wish that Dain had been done with a little more love, though. And I'd have mega loved a good Ravenhill set...those scenes still...haunt me? They were...ach! Brilliant film. I'm getting the BofA set soon, and I'd like to attempt a boar, as I think it'd make the Dain figure a bit more imposing, so I'd love to see any attempts you guys have made! (Kev, looking at you!)

Fanflippingtabulous. I love it.

Got back a littke while ago fron seeing the film...I'll write more later, but I'll just say that the Attack on Lake-Town set is WAY more accurate than I thought! I actually reacted out loud in the theatre when the pieces started coming together. I think we would have lost the Dol Guldur setS, and only have gotten one. I also expect MEA would have been cut.

It is now my goal to MAKE THIS HAPPEN.

For a couple months I've been thinking that using Shredder's helmet would be alright for the elven river guards in DoS. It wouldn't be perfect of course, but it'd be better than nothing. Yeah, I fully expected him to be in it before it was announced. Bilbo was kinda necessary as that was the only set he was in that wave, and he is kinda THE HOBBIT. It is a shame, regardless.

Yeah. I'd have preferred that, but if after that was done, getting a new Dwalin face and such would have been great. I also kinda wish there was a golden Smaug...(And maybe one with a different expression, like for brickfilming) But it's obvious why that didn't happen! XP

Yes please.

No big deal! Loads of people get that mixed up. I feel almost...behind, as I live in America and still have to wait 5 days. Which is odd, because I'm usually the first one out of the gate to see the film or something. I wish that AuJ and DoS had done better in the States, as that's what probably caused the odd release date and lack of a midnight premier most places. =/

Me too, except Thrandy rides an elk, not a moose.

Awesome!

Unexpected. Same reason as the others.

"Who needs food" indeed. Honestly, though my wallet's very thankful that Middle-Earth is ending!

Oh, I'd LOVE to have a properly scaled one! It'd just be near impossible for TLG to do themselves, especially as a moulded creature. My thought exactly. I love the craaaaaazy action sequences, and would be very disappointed if there were none in The Battle of the Five armies. I'm just sad because it's Dec. 6th, and no LEGO Bolg, or any exclusive for that matter. I mean, It was a long shot, but I don't think it was wrong of me to get my hopes up.

In the case of Smaug's size, I consider myself to be pretty knowledgeable. (I love Smaug.) I did the research and the math, and Smaug in DoS is between 450-500 feet (137.16 - 152.4 meters) nose-to-tail. His wingspan is maybe around 550-600 ft.(Haven't figured it out more accurately.) If a Minifigure is about 5 feet (Which in reality they're more like 5.5-6 ft) then one hundred times the height of a minifigure. This is why LEGO cannot make a properly scaled Smaug. (I'd like to figure it out in real dimensions, but I can't remember the height of a minifigure at the moment, so I'll do that later.)

Nooooooooo

Damn school, getting in the way of important things like The Hobbit!

Neither do I. I expect we need to just be patient. It very well may not come until springtime. I think it'd make sense not to release it until then. Don't be hasty, master Meriadoc.

In the game I actually created a white warg for Azog to ride on. The obvious name was Daisy, of course. ;)

Piggy. =3

You seem to have forgotten that the sets are based off of the Hobbit film trilogy, and not the book. Legolas is an integral character in The Desolation of Smaug and The Battle of Five Armies, so it stands to reason that people would want to own a figure of him.
-
Yes, yes he was. I forgot that it was Dain-not Nain- who slew him. This makes me think that Dain will play a large role in defeating him in BotFA Thror's nuts.
-
I promise you, Bolg is there. Huh. Looks way better then I thought it would. I don't LOVE it, but I am considering picking one up. I never minded Ori a ton, but I have noticed that flaw. I disagree with your point with Bilbo and Thranduil, actually I think the slight lines add to the character's accuracy.

From most wanted to least wanted, how would you guys rate Armoured Azog, armoured Sauron, Bolg and Bear Beorn? I would say 1. Bolg 2. Armoured Sauron 3. Bear Beorn 4. Armoured Azog

NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM I thought it was kind of funny when that question was asked a little after I asked it.
