As I'm sure you'll hear a lot more of in this thread, I'd collect Galidor rather than minifigures. On a serious note though, as has been said above, collect what you want. CMF's are particularly good because they include a variety of different characters, and so all types of Lego fans (irrespective of what themes they like) can relate to them in some way.

Giant Man definitely! He was certainly the highlight of the civil war sets. I also enjoyed the '66 Batman and Joker figures.

That sounds excellent. It's good to see Lego are finally taking an interest in Dagobah again after what feels like an eternity. I certainly hope they stray away from the "Freezing Chamber" style sets and try and design something more complex. I do hope we get an X-Wing with this.

Is it obvious? I must be missing something... The creator has taken an original route by developing his own theme has oppose to just using an existing one. And the model looks fine, I don't think its "suckish" in any way. Not everyone has the same level of skill as yourself when it comes to MOCs and that's fine. But calling other people's creations "trolls" simply because they aren't up to the same standards as yours is simply rude and actually quite childish. But at least comments like that will inspire the kid to make more creations. And I think the kid would fall from a huge height if he discovered some of the comments on this thread.

I personally would get it. The droids can be brought of Bricklink separately and with the use of previous Hoth sets, this set can be modified to make something better.
