I strongly recommend Erik or Scott for TCC. With all the discussion about the investigation they've been way to quiet lately. I also think it would be quite good for someone who hasn't been in the government yet to get some kind of read on them (if any).
-
True... I mean in two days we've gone from liking and trusting Anne as our TCC to not trusting her at all. Although like you say in your second point there's always the chance a future mayor will investigate Ralph, Joshua or even Anne herself. And if Ralph is scum its game over for him. On the other hand though, Joshua was an easy target for the scum, not just because he investigated Anne but his government passed a mafia policy. This made it easier for anyone to point the finger at him as its more believable than I he passed a town policy.
-
That's why I'm asking, Let's assume Ralph is scum and Joshua and Anne are town. Would it be wise to out two town players as scum? Maybe it's just me, but I would have a hard time believing a scum would take that risk. Surely if Ralph was scum, he would try and investigate the Godfather as town since they know who he is, but he doesn't know who they are. And that in turn would help them achieve the second win condition. There wouldn't be much point in trying to convince a town player was scum other than casting a load of suspicion on yourself.

I agree, we definitely need some more fresh faces on the Government. And I strongly advise the next mayor we get an all TCC, one that hasn't spoken up much. To me it's about risk, by outing Joshua as scum, Ralph as basically confirmed Anne scum/GF as well. The question is, would a scum lie and go through all the trouble and risk just to pretend two townies are scum?

Yeah, I was under the impression Daniel Craig signed up for two Bond films after Skyfall, Spectre and Bond 25, but that's sadly not the case. Whoever we get, I still hope the MI6 crew, M, Q, Moneypenny and Tanner still stay the same in terms of actors.

It was a possibility I was suggesting since we have to look at all the possible options. Ultimately, it all boils down what win condition the scum are aiming for. According to the rules there are two, if they're going for the "pass 6 mafia cards" then they could very well just confirm a townie to make themselves look trustworthy, there's no immediate need for a godfather. If they're going for the second win condition then yes, I agree they would want to confirm the GF as town. The scum neeed the godfather to achieve that win condition and would need to make him look town. I think Scott should be the next TCC, all this discussion about the investigation result has allowed him to slip out of the spotlight completely. Speaking of which, I've noticed all of us have been discussing all the possibilities about who may or may not be scum, yet neither Ralph, Joshua, nor Anne have actually said anything about it. I agree with Lego Freak, a young, not well known actor seems the likeliest candidate. Its kind of sad to see Daniel Craig not returning back, but I think SPECTRE was a good place to stop.

I think even if Joshua was scum that doesn't necessarily make Anne scum too. Confirming a townie in public and thus getting a trustworthy TCC is very helpful to the town, making Joshua look town. On the other hand however, the scum know who the godfather I but can't contact him, and seeing as we now know the godfather investigates as scum, perhaps (assuming Joshua was scum) him investigating Anne and making her look town was a subtle hint that he was scum and wanted Anne (the gf) to contact him?

I would like to confirm what Lindsay said, I received two town cards and obviously picked a town one.

I hope so too. If they could make a longer version of the existing handle piece that would be fine.

Which forum does my MOC/topic belong in?

Everything Minecraft related belongs in the Special Themes forum I believe. That's an excellent MOC by the way -

Odd that a Set based of a well known UK vehicle isn't turning up in the UK... There must be some kind of mistake, maybe it's just coming out later in the year.- 16 replies

Hmm, Ralph, were you planning to investigate someone else before Robert asked you to investigate Joshua or were you always planning on investigating him?
-
I think if we pass 4 mafia policies the mayor can put forward a name to kill and then we discuss, and of we pass 5 he can do the same. I'm thinking this also could be a lie. Joshua's government passed a mafia policy so it would be easy for another player to "investigate" him as scum. Yet there is a small part of me that thinks he could be telling the truth. The probability of a 3 scum combination isn't impossible after all. Just very unlikely.
-
Not necessarily, Anne could still be scum but was fortunate enough to get three scum cards thus making it look like she had no choice (and passing a mafia policy at the same time) But I could be wrong, ot all depends on what Ralph says.
-
Well, I trust myself, I'm not sure about Ralph though. In any case I vote YES
-
And if Anne is telling the truth unless there was the very unlikely mafia, mafia, mafia combination we can assume Ralph is lying.

I'd definitely like to see the return of a western theme. We got some great Lone Ranger sets back in 2013, but some more generic western sets would certainly be appreciated.

I'd like to hear from Ralph as well, the fact we've passed a mafia policy is very interesting and It'll be interesting to see what cards he got and the investigation result.
-
Exactly. I've seen people drive Aston Martins on videos, I've seen my friends drive them... But I've never driven one before, I don't even own one. But I'm still a fan of them :) In terms of Battle Packs. I'd like to see more... "command station" type builds that can be joined together to make larger ones. We've seen a lot of vehicle orientated battle packs over the years, which is fine, but I would also like to see some more land based builds.

I wonder whether the Duel of the Fates will be a Final Duel/Palpatine's arrest type set with a modular Theed Palace. Hopefully Lego will include Padme and possible some more Naboo guards in that set.
-
True... although going with your theory, even if Anne does pass a town policy, that doesn't necessarily mean she is town. If the scum did want to "investigate" one of their own to make them look town and put them as TCC surely they would try and play around with policies, maybe get the TCC to pass a town policy, then a mafia one, and then maybe a town again, just to make it look convincing, if the scum TCC keeps on electing mafia policy after mafia policy it would look suspicious.

The Han hair piece looks great. Not only an improvement over the last one but probably even better than the TFA hairpiece in brown.
-
Indeed, there's definitely going to be some inconsistencies between the mayor and the TCC which will help us identify who's who.

The rumoured sets sound good, not to sure about another Landspeeder, I was fine with the 2014 version. I am looking forward to that Thrawn figure though.
