LEGO Star Wars 2022 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

It looks really good. I do kind of agree the blurrg does look a little like a microfighter but the set looks great nonetheless. -
I want to get the Meditation Chamber before it goes. Just need to find a good price in the UK first . Not actually a set but I did finally get the Skywalker Saga game.

Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures

Speaking of MBS sets I'd love to see an Endor one. Been a long time since we've had a proper Endor set. Home One would also be good. The Last time we saw one was in 2009 and we still haven't see the exterior ever depicted in Lego before. It would also give us Mon Mothma and Crix Madine. -
Some pretty cool concept art has been seen from D23. A hotel and some kind of Greek tomb(?). Should make for some good sets.

Yes! I enjoyed the reveal as well. I didn't expect a reference to them this early on. The end credits scene was fun as well. I've been a bit behind recently. I still need to watch She Hulk, Moon Knight and Thor.

Obi Wan's Jedi Starfighter. Great little set and nice to finally get a Kaminoan.

The Lego shop online would very quickly run out of Republic Gunships

Yeah the lack of Andor sets is a bit of a shame. I don't think we've had a Mon Mothma figure either since 2009(?). There are going to be 12 episodes so there must be something they could've given us. The wave is really solid though. Its great to see a TIE bomber after so long and it'll be nice to get some 501st figures. -
The quote about the toad is the first thing Hermoine says to Ron and Harry when she meets them. It's fine though I think "Anything off the trolley dears?" said by the trolley lady would've also been good. The other quotes are relevant to the scenes (like Luna seeing Harry through the glasses). I can think of a few others but they aren't said by characters included in the set. I really like the set. The interior looks really nice.

The spam poet has returned! The absolute cherry on the cake would be a new Lego Indiana Jones game with all 5 films.

There are some really nice builds here. Especially the microbuilds and Slughorn's chair. Though I do kind of agree with the above poster that you can't really incorporate these into existing sets.

Looks really good. I really hope we get a 10th Doctor figure one day.

Yeah I think so too. In this upcoming wave of sets we're already getting two characters who we didn't see in the original line so I'm hoping that Lego go back and fill in the gaps. I'm intrigued to see what the $150 set is. As another user posted above the Hovitos Temple or the Grail Temple seem like the most obvious candidates. I would love it to be the train chase from Crusade though.

This is great news! It's nice to see they've included some characters who we missed in the original theme.

Excalibur Mafia 4 - Conclusion and Discussion
Tariq j replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Extending the day time definitely sounds like something to try out for the next game. In regards to your first point about complicated games. Maybe we could make some sort of "beginners guide" to mafia games on EB? Like it could go through the basic roles, general rules, maybe some tips about playing as third party or scum etc. I'd be happy to make/help contribute to one. That way new players won't have to do a mafia school but will still have a rough guide to use when they need too. -

It’s alright for a 4+ set. There’s some decent figures. We don’t seem to see many Endor sets these days. -
Excalibur Mafia 4 - Conclusion and Discussion

Well played everyone! And thanks for the game Bob. You and other hosts have really helped keep mafia alive on EB these past few years. Very lucky that the town PR roles were able to survive. My scum radar was off... again -

The AT-TE looks really good. Great figure selection and build. The Bad Batch set looks fine though I don’t know if I can justify that price. -
I don’t think the software shows it but we both posted our responses at around the same time. (Lt. Riley posted his response whilst I was finishing typing mine). So it was more two people having the same thought rather than me copying what he was saying. We need to reach some sort of consensus here. Fenton, Arnold or Heecan have not contributed enough for me to make any kind of judgement on them and I’m leaning town towards Cheseelo. My gut is saying to vote for Lt. Riley based on the reasons I’ve stated before. But then it might be worth voting for one of the more inactive players.

It’s a bit underwhelming to be honest. It’s not a particularly interesting location anyway. As said above it’s a shame they used this scene instead of the final battle which will (presumably) have a more interesting location. -
Truthfully I cannot find anything of use or interest. Lt. Riley suggested there might be 2 scum out of the 8 players and Lt. Pherson and Lt. Cheseelo agreed with him. Then 5 of us voted for one another in order not to get a lynch. Looking back on today however, there is something that got my attention: So Fenton suggests voting/lynching one of the two players that didn’t vote yesterday. That is, Lt. Arnold or Lt. Heecan. Pherson then agrees with him. Suggesting that it’ll gives us something to roll with and get people talking. Then Riley comes out with his comment about being more suspicious of people who voted than those who didn’t. Riley’s comment pinged me because it felt like an attempt to divert attention away from the two players that didn’t vote after the possibility of lynching them was brought up. Like he was trying to protect Arnold or Heecan from being lynched.
-
But I have done something. I responded to Cheseelo’s idea about the investigator. I see his point about the investigator though. If we had least two townies confirmed by today then we have a better chance of lynching a corrupted. What about Lt. Fenton? As far as I can see he hasn’t responded to anything that’s happened over the last 12 hours.
-
But didn’t you vote yesterday? I’m very mixed. I think it’s a brave decision that could lead us to victory but it relies on a lot of assumptions and “what if” scenarios. How do we know Commander Tekvo wasn’t the Doctor or the Investigator? If Tekvo was the Doctor we’d be putting our investigator into serious trouble.
