The Brick Show, Stephen's Studio - 8x8 Vignette

Excellent work! I'd be willing to pay £20.00, I think with stickers and printed torso it would definitely be worth it.- 7 replies

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Tariq j replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I like interiors, there are some like the TH and PC which have excellent ones done to precision and detail. As for stories, I mean, its alot more enjoyable using your own imagination and elements to great a scene as oppose to a set one. -
Excellent work!

Same here, I personally prefer much tighter heads than loose ones. On a side note I finally purchased the Kwik E Mart, literally just flipping through the instructions shows what a fantastic set this is. I really hope this continues next year and we get another D2C set like this one, Springfield Elementary Perhaps?

Advanced Models 10248 Ferrari F40: Discussion Topic

It looks excellent! -
Hopefully Lego will include a fair amount (at least 4) in the troop transport set.

Correct, but I still think you're being way to pedantic for what is essentially a toy targeted at kids. You may as well say "The new Darth Vader figure is inaccurate because the distance between the eyes are exactly 4cm where as lego's are clearly further apart! The point is no minifigure is perfect, because to get every detail in Lego's scale is either very hard or physically impossible.
-
Deskp: I still feel like you're missing the point here, the figure is somewhat inaccurate, I will not deny that, but as I and many others have pointed out Lego is a kids toy, and while I can't speak for every kid in the world I'm pretty sure the average kid will not have a breakdown if a line is slightly misplaced, just be grateful that Lego have released a good figure in the first place. I feel like you're thinking too much like a model maker here, Lego cannot fit every single detail onto a helmet perfectly without error, its hard to replicate things in minifigure scale.

^^ Agreed, I think we will see alot of season 2 sets next year.

The "Show Your Armies" thread: Licensed Themes Edition!
Tariq j replied to Blondie-Wan's topic in LEGO Licensed
That's an impressive collection you got there Oky and Blondie-Wan, I hope to post mine later. -
Interesting thread, I have two ideas you could use. The first one is a sort of survival game with a Lego twist, basically the teams are put in survival scenarios and using a given amount of bricks, build 12 objects they think will help them. The second is the teams have to build a bridge that can support at least one human.

Just saw it yesterday, it was excellent, and a really good follow up from Las seasons epic finale. And its funny because the Vader's helmet really looks like the Mquarrie Concept art which I think is a good touch.
