  1. Great build! Looks perfect and I love all the little details. Another fine ship from the pirate forums! I miss building pirates.
  2. Thankyou all for your great comments! I do enjoy building countryside scenes at the moment, although I'd like to incorperate them into a train display one day. @Dragonator & ISC, the ripple effects were done as an afterthought when I was looking at the finished moc. I realised the water needed some life, so I grabbed some white insulating tape and hastly put it on. It worked quite well plus insulating tape peels off very easily and doesnt leave any marks on the bricks. Im not a huge sticker fan, but they can be good for some small effects. Thanks all again, I hope to be building quite a lot now, and get part 3 of myths & legends done before xmas, plus some pirate mocs as its been a while. DC
  3. Thanks for all your kind words. I kinda wish i'd built a better story round this, but maybe next time. @IscreamClone: Cheers mate! Yes I do agree about the grass, I noticted when building that I needed more rocks, but I have another moc on the go that has virtually used up most of my dark bley, so I was a bit stuck. But I was going for a sort of countryside overgrown look, so I thought i'd get away with it. Thanks again!
  4. Hi there, its been a long while since I last built something as ive been busy over the summer. So I thought its about time I got building again. This is NOT part of my Myths & Legends series, so there isn't a real story to it. Its just a moc to get me back in the spirit of building again! Enjoy A group of mercyless Dragon Knights are storming the country, stopping at every Lord and wealthy Landowner's domain and laying down their terms! You either pay for peace, or be wiped out! Simple. The price is steep, but what about the loss of lives? Can you put a price on peace?!!!! Stormy skys above mirror the gloomy situation below. The Dragon Knights might not have it so easy however. The Falcons are secretly forming another welcoming party. These guys dont wanna pay for peace! 5. Well its only 30mins drive from me, so i have no excuse not to be there. Count me in!
  6. Nice to see you finally joined mate! As I said on flickr, this really is a great all round build with a nice design for the fort and ship. Keep up the good work, and I hope to see more of your work on here soon!
  7. Awesome moc! Im quite a fan of larger creations and this is a period in history thats not often built, so this is great to see. Lots of great details and very well thought-out and built. Really makes me wanna start building again! Great job
  8. This is a great moc! A very classic western look with lots of great details. The sign is lovely, as are all the other details such as the curtains and the skull which all help to bring this moc to life. Good work
  9. This is a great creation! Very natural looking and the cave with the pelt and fire really add to the overall effect. Nice one
  10. Thats an awesome idea for a impulse set! Well executed and the box art sits the mood perfectly. Nice one
  11. The bow looks fantastic, nice decorative detail. This ship is going to look stunning when it's finished. I'm going to be coming back to pirate building soon, and I think I'm gonna have to build a large pirate vessle to combat all these large ships that are being built. After looking at yours, brickbuilt hulls are deffinitly the way to go! Keep up the good work mate!
  12. This is very well built. Lots going on with many details. I like the fact you've added a interior. Overall, a great castle! Keep up the good work
  13. This is a great scene mate! I really liked your tree houses in your PTV2 entry and this one is no exception. Great parts usage and as always you've managed to create a busy vibrant scene with lots of mini-fig action. This really makes me want to build a forestmen hideout now . Great work

  15. They are availible, but they are exclusive to S@H and Lego brand retail stores, so you wont find them anywhere else.
  16. Thats a really great build You have deffinitly captured the look of the real thing with some great techniques. Excellent work!
  17. I need a White five pointed star on a dark green background for Lord Derfel and his 'stars of the shield wall'. A black bear for Arthur and his nights. A long tusked boar for Owain and his men. A red dragon on a White field for Dumnonia. A hawk for the men of Cornwall. A Fox for the men of Siluria, a Christian cross for Galahad, a red horse for the men of Elmet. Plus they all need to be round shield as i'm working on 5th and 6th century. But, that's deffinitly a wish list as Lego would never release those. Anyone who can make those decals let me know!!!
  18. I've just joined, so that means I can display some mocs right? Do I just turn up with a lorry load of mocs or do I have to organise it with those in the know?
  19. I build modular pirate dios, but these are large landscape moduals that join to make a coastline. Ive started doing it with castle as well. Allthough I do think modular castle building mocs would look cool, but i do like to add a setting around my buildings.
  20. Your off to a good start and it looks like it will fit well with the official sets. Hope to see it made in the brick sometime
  21. Time to get our arena built, and many thanks to me dreaded pirate crew for bringing me that scuvy monkey's head while I was busy filming scenes for Sleepy Hollow 2.
  22. This is a great model! Its nice to see a ship built in a different way, the colour scheme works well and i like how you've made windows for the cabin rather then use the pre-made ones. The fact that you've allowed an option to see inside the decks really makes it stand out. Nice details all round, great work
  23. This looks really neat, great colour use and nice details. Keep it up!
  24. Great comic Commodore, but you only managed to capture my castle decoy! Captain Cadarn has been on vacation long enough, and now its time to call a meeting of the Pirate Lords and unleash....The Wolves Of The Sea! Well, when they finally sober up. Time for Pirates to unite! AND, to that randy monkey, dont think you're getting away with that, Ive put a price on your furry head!
  25. Haha, you can always rely on joey to flame an arguement. Brits never back down! I think the 3 Arjays end up having a heated arguement over a game of scrabble, and wipe each other out. But personally I might put them into the arena where they can fight to the death, with the winner awarded the humiliation of having to dress as a women and serve rum at the most brutal pirate tavern on the coast of Dumnonia! He might even last more then a day, but I doubt it!
