Dark glass has been already improved/repaired just not indexed/included in official BR yet...I have to make "clean" src for @msx80 first so he can actually implement it into BR, so just wait a bit more (I have quite a lot things here to do so time for BR shrinked a lot at the moment, ah)

Yes, conversion to .obj with your files works but as you have pointed out there are no studs - initially I thought you are talking just about the top parts with logo-on-stud yet now as I actually test it I see you really meant whole studs, ah, pity. Anyway, maybe there still is some way how to add them correctly to each of your brick (at least manually but that would be terrific work to do), so yea it'd be still great if you could make all those "normal" bricks once too. -
Actually in case they - TLG - won't do it then I will like do it myself at least virtually creating me a new pseudo space/castle subtheme...now gotta find a good name for it!

Please, could you also make all those "normal" bricks (like 1x1, 1x2,...1x16, 2x2, 2x3...etc.)? -
Where are picture(s)?

Hah, just being curious here but: ppl why is it so important for all of you having some "strange nickname under your avatar picture" given to you by someone else which you even did not chose yourself? Strange, isn't it? + what if one does not like the member title given to him - is there an option for him changing it to his liking or at least hide it? -

No, he cannot use your LGEO in LDD, no way...he has no clue what he is talking about quite evidently. The only possible usage of your LGEO for LDD would be during POV-Ray render of his LDD .lxf file but it would be quite complicated with part that really is not present in LDD cos he would need to make kind of brick placeholder to make his model and before actual rendering he would need to delete it from his .lxf and replace it with that LGEO part in POV-Ray .inc file for the respective .lxf - way complicated but theoretically could be done (I have done exactly this with crater baseplate for some of my LDD models). -
That is actually true, but logic of things is telling me they come to solution for the fosil fuels polution like at least 50 years before they solved out how to use used cooking oil without contaminating themselves with carcinogenes..."totaly healthy" way, of course. Therefore there is no difference for them if they use fosil, used cooking oil, dinosaur petrified eggs or anything else anyway. And who says? They themselves...we were chatting in CS channel last century or so...I think it was Benny himself, but not 100% sure of.
-
Yea, I already downloaded all PDF catalogues from that site for inspiration...
-
Ah, carcinogenic then - not much better IMHO: what they save on nature they use for self-destruction...kind of nihilistic future, isn't it?
-
BTW has it any modularity (like canopy opening, some doors that can be opened etc.)? EDIT: Sorry, I did not noticed first time the picture with opened canopy door...eh!
-
Oh, rather not: last time I was into buying this kind of things (complete LEGO Space line from 1978 till now, everything pristine like new, no yellowing, no hard-bites, simply as if it was made yesterday - most of them still in unopened boxes even those from 80's!) it almost ruined me financially...literally!
-
Looks very good tho I never heard of TENTE, hm...was it some kind of LEGO clone or something (looking the link you provided it looks like that to me)? EDIT: Now as I am listing thru that page I have to say one big WOW!!!!!! Those Astro models are at least as good as original CS LEGO of that era but in some cases - to me - even better, ehm more thrilling in design concept, I am like spellbound now, gee...PERFECT, thanx for the tip my friend!
-
But that is not correct: the latest version v0.0004 I am using definitely got this wrong, you can try for yourself - maybe you corrected this for the upcoming version? Try the case I explained above and you will see the light will not go straight backward as it should - lights are taking their axes angles upon LDD model world and not upon actual BR camera. Or even better rotate your camera in LDD like +90° and then try to add one light, lets say Spherical and set its z axis to 50, it will go 50U to right/left instead!
-
Nicola, the reason why the shadow is rotating with the model is for the cause I was telling you further back on this topic: LIGHTS (=> shadows) axes are computed based on LDD world, not on BR world WHICH IS WRONG cos that way it is always updated according to model rotation! There is world conversion method in SF so just use that for lights in BR src... So for example if your model is rotated like 45° and you set your light let's say z=50 then the light won't go 50U backward but instead like some U in north-east direction (and this was the easier case...won't telling you what kind of head ache you would have if you have some more exotic rotation on the model - your head could explode trying to figure out which axes would give you simple backward movement of the light - ldd2br world translation for lights should be another thing that meeds to be done rather sooner) Then all thumbs up for you!

Simply perfect... + I do not know if anyone already point that out (sorry I did not read posts on this topic) but the only thing I would say is a bit "not right" is the car size compared to minifig - it should be bigger but perhaps that is a price that needed to be payed so you can have that beautiful dropship...?
-
Yes, I agree - I just wanted to say he cannot go wrong as he completely reused the CS color scheme principle (like, for example: 70% blue, 20% gray, 10% trans-yellow)...
-
Ehm, of course it works as this color scheme was developed many years ago by TLG itself as you probably know as we all know...ClassicSpace forever!
-
BTW what is this model - it is your/someone's design or some original LEGO set? Cos I really like the concept very much!
-
WOW, mate, now that is absolutely freaking perfect!!!!! So when you already release v5 with obj brick import and this rotating thingie? Can't stand the waiting, really! BTW what SW did you use for that gif output?
-
It was meant kind of joke, Nicola, you see? We did not understood each other once more , besides Richi e Poveri are my beloved group, so no insult was meant at all! Ah, that car...I guess you must heard of it already, the last time they testing it it crashed to a field...
-
Ya, the only issue I see there is that we constantly do not understand each other right so more and more new explanations are needed most of the time - I guess the reason is incompatibility between italian and slovak "thoughts" or something (OK: we developed ridiculous pseudo-flying car and you developed...Richi e Poveri), haha.
