  1. Villain helmets do not fit on the hero heads, and that includes Witch Doctor if I'm remembering right. I'm not near my sets right now, being down at Brickfiesta, but I'm pretty certain his head didn't fit on the hero heads either.
  2. And afterward we sought the same permission. No worries! It's fun to see how we do reviews differently too.
  3. Hahaha, lol.
  4. This is my favourite of the small villains. I need to go finish my review of this for BZP!
  5. The one on the top of the chest? I wonder if that's one of those alternate parts things? Like the Indy set that first released the red all the way through versions as a running change. I had thought it had been discontinued as well. They don't hold friction very well.
  6. Yeah, the group email Jan sent out was very clear that there were no reviews until July 1st. So I'm assuming he bought it somewhere.
  7. Witch Doctor's hips actually contain a full-range of movement. His ankles, not so much. And you're right about the torso, it's empty and tiny and it looks awful. He's overall both better and worse than I'd hoped.
  8. I know for sure I'll be getting Raw-Jaw, Furno 3.0, Nex 3.0, Waspix, and Witch Doctor. But when they're released, I'd like all the Heroes, Rocka XL, and maybe Fangz for parts. I want multiples of the Heroes for MOCs. Especially Rocka. I have plans for his parts.
  9. The ones sent to us are full production, store-ready sets. So I guess the stickers are probably a regional thing?
  10. Weird, my canisters didn't come with any stickers.
  11. All of you guys who bought the sets in the stores can review whatever you want (well, even if BZP was up, you couldn't do it there, but still). But TLG has kindly sent several sites preview sets, with the stipulation that our reviews may not be up until July 1st.
  12. Yes, I will be doing at least five of the new wave set reviews for BZP. Raw-Jaw and Waspix are amongst them.
  13. That's all you get until the BZP reviews are published, starting most likely on the 1st, which is when we are allowed to post them.
  14. Oh, I like the parts. I just don't much enjoy the finished product. I heart Waspix, though. Love the head sculpts for both, though I wish they fit on the hero heads.
  15. So sitting here playing with Raw-Jaw... Yeah, I just don't get it. He's weirdly put together, he has lots of holes you can see right through, and his legs are just awkward and bend the wrong ways. I much prefer Waspix, who is quite awesome. I like him a lot.
  16. I bet Eurobricks will have it's own reviews on July 1st. Just a hunch.
  17. Brickfiesta is happening in Austin, Texas, USA from June 30-July 3. (www.brickfiesta.com)
  18. Don't hold your breath.
  19. I don't understand the love for RawJaw. Besides the Scorpion model, he looks the worst of the bunch to me. By a lot.
  20. I need Bill to complete my Bill collection, because I love him. I want all of the Heroes, and I want multiples just for their animal themed helmets, because I really like them. I want Rocka XL, and I'm into Waspix, I'll get Witch Doctor for parts, but the rest of the "villains" don't do it for me. They just look awkward, especially the red one with the tusks.
  21. The biggest problem is a lack of girl's names. What's up with that?
  22. Man, to call those animal-themed was really stretching it. They had animals on their shields, whoo! I'm thinking more along the line of the entire armour being themed that way, which would involve multiples of most of those animal helmets, but I suppose that'll just have to be okay.
  23. I am going to buy so many of these heroes so I can finally realize my childhood dream of building a series of animal-themed knights. Oh yes. Also, Bill is awesome, and he has no upper leg armour because he's a bird. Which are light and whatnot.
  24. The girls in the newest version are yellow and pink again.
