  1. Whenever I've blogged MOCs, I've tried my best to contact the author and let them know I've covered their MOC. The very few instances where that has not been possible have been guys who only post stuff on Brickshelf and are pretty much untracable anyplace else. So far I haven't asked people explicitly whether they'd mind me blogging their MOCs beforehand. As noted, I've always done my best to contact them and let them know of where/ how I covered their builds though. And naturally, stating the source (Eurobricks / flickr / Brickshelf / MOCPages / other forums & communities) and the author; providing a link to the respective MOC and the author's gallery / photostream; as well as (if available) the author's real name, has always been a must for me.
  2. Indeed, thanks for sharing. The three-wheeled bogie looks great, and obviously it also works that way. A really top solution for any compact shunter, bravo!
  3. I really wouldn't base my vote today solely on who's been talkative and who hasn't. For all I know, you could all just be doing your best to save your hides by beating me to the title of Grand Rantmaster. Either way, it will take something pretty substantial to convince us all that some of you are really loyal members of the Family. Remember, there's a difference between yakking and actually contributing. As to the red ninja - we can only hope and pray that someone saw something helpful last night. Otherwise it looks as though we're in a pretty messy situation, with new alignments being revealed almost on a nightly basis now. And my old mind is still finding it hard to get used to the fact that there'd be any people belonging to this Family who'd wish to see its demise...
  4. Great. Has Stephanie now stolen Lloyd Jr's teddy bear? We should really try and get her out of here already. And that pizza guy, if he's still around, that is. We're not only losing Family members, but also crucial evidence as well... Oh well. One Mutineer less, I hope!
  5. So, no snot and no confirmation of players' alignment whatsoever now? Or is that being saved for later, along with crucial new info, as was the case 'yesterday'...
  6. I must agree with L@go. While it is a very impressive build, what really makes it stand out for me is the use of jumper plates for the first floor facade. A very ingenious solution; it gives the exterior a very interesting look, without it being too cluttered.
  7. The pics are not official, but I'd say that Johan the Yellowhead has done a pretty sweet photoshoot of all the modulars (almost) side by side.
  8. Everyday we shufflin'... But hey, it's good that we finally have another playing character Welcome to our family, K-nut! We've lost the cook so there's not much to offer in terms of food, so I can only hope you've had lunch before stepping in
  9. Well obviously, I am going to Vote: Setsuku (fhomess). While I agree with the observation regarding trust, that combined with the "there's obviously nothing I can say to change your mind" part pretty much sounds like a confession of sorts to me.
  10. What a great build! I love the medieval festive vibe of your MOC - great job in having so many people within such limited space without having the diorama look overcrowded. And the pond is wonderful too
  11. Pretty please, Setsuko? Although I tried that with one of your scummy mates on Day 1 and it didn't work. Then again, it hasn't really "worked" for you and your gang for the last 6 days, now has it. Perhaps coming clean on Day 1 wouldn't have been such a bad idea... As to Kenta - I knew there was something fishy about him, and it most definitely wasn't his rolls. I'm happy to see that the white ninja took notice of these suspicions. And it brings tears to my eyes to hear how little fragile Cherry Blossom has gone down valiantly and shown so much cool-headedness for the greater good of this Family . Whatever the loyal members of this Family had to do yesterday, we did perfectly well. I know I'd be rather alarmed if I was hiding green or purple snot! Talking about snot, I must admit I can't say I'm too distressed about losing wifey. Other than a quick "Hi, tell me if you want to cooperate" on Day One, there's not much useful information I've managed to hear from her either. But her shenanigans have been ceaseless! I mean, how disrespectful is that - feeling up my butt in front of the entire Family!!! And who in their right mind would not want to come with their husband on an ocean cruise around the world. Oh well. Guess if the Kami smile down upon me, I might just end up having a bachelor's Boat Trip once this is all done! So, with the course for today's voting pretty much decided, I actually agree with Norio that it would be best if we tried to discuss in public our contribution and the work we've put in for this Family. As useless Family goes, Noriko and Lizzy have definitely found their way to the top of that pile - I wonder what they'd be willing to do to help us root out the few remaining Mutineers. Other than stating the obvious, which I think we've really all gotten quite used to already...
  12. Does married LEGO come with free postage? I should seriously considering proposing... (here's hoping my significant Otter doesn't read this ) Taz, it really is a gorgeous MOC indeed! I'm really loving the stone wall and the flex-tree technique...
  13. You BAD, BAD biker you! Congrats on finding a way to be paid in order to ride though! Well done
  14. This is hands down one of my favourite entries so far. You've got a brilliant eye for detail and scaling it down appropriately, well done mate!
  15. I like your twisted sense of humour even more than I like your build. And now I'm off to study your elevator design
  16. Whan an awesome entry! It's functional, it looks the part and it's also incredibly cute - in a very Technic-y way, of course. By the way, have you tested the "open water" RC reception range yet?
  17. Welcome! Always a good thing to hear more people are back to the hobby, and besides, my personal experience leads me to think that knowing what you want is always the best solution to building up a collection quickly. So good luck with that and enjoy the process! By the way, we don't really have fleshie minifig emoticons, which is probably a bit of an issue - but at least we've got an Emoticon depicting our Dragonator...
  18. Seriously, defending yourself while threating the rest of the Family?! Great job Cherry. You could have put up a much better defence and at least tried to convince us you're a loyal member of the Yakuza, without actually trying to talk down to us like some sort of eerie evil spirit. You've kept to yourself for days and haven't helped us one single bit, and now you're talking about "your terms and conditions"? I'm having a hard time deciding whether I'd like to unvote Kenta right now. But - he still hasn't uttered one single word and I'm very interested in hearing what he'd have to say in his defence. If it's half as good as Cherry's, we've got ourself quite a hot sauce today... I also must confess I find it rather interesting that after hinting Kenta's made a presumably false claim to him, Norio has dropped that altogether and decided not to pursue the matter anymore. I'm assuming that's got to do with his investigations, and while I respect those, I'd very much like to hear a proper defence from Kenta - if he does decide to grace us with his presence today.
  19. I know he seems to be rather busy with his koilette rolls, whatever those are, but I'd like to try and give Kenta a good reason to start talking while we're still waiting for Cherry Blossom and Daisuke, among others, to let us know how they've been doing lately. I'm sure he'll be able to combine cooking and talking, and if he is persuasive enough with both, I'd be more than happy to change my vote. For the time being though, I Vote: Kenta (Nightshroud99)
  20. As stated earlier, I'm very much looking forward to hearing anything that actually makes sense from Cherry Blossom. Other than letting us know she's following what's happened and is deeply saddened to see Family members go. As presumed Townies go, there's one who has definitely not helped their Family in any kind or form.
  21. Great. Incest and child abuse was the only thing that was still missing in this family... I must admit I too believe we need to hear from some of the rest of our family members today, even before we've found out about the results from last night's investigations. Aside from Shiro and Kenta, I think that we also haven't heard too much constructive feedback from Daisuke and Cherry Blossom either. Flying under the radar is one thing, but refraining from almost any kind of firm involvement does reek of scum to me. I'm not saying you're supposed to lead a lynchmob against someone every other night. It would, however, have been helpful if throughout these relatively "calmer" last few days other people had voiced their suspicions and had actually tried to do some work, aside from the loyal Yakuza family members we'd usually expect to do so.
  22. The only thing that crosses my mind when I hear Shiro is this: Very low-quality though. Wouldn't recommend.
  23. Vote: Hiroki (Etzel)
