  1. Yay! Mermaids and genies, woot woot! ! To think that if things had gone wrong, I could have now been looking at half a year of seasickness with my scummy wife alongside... Hopefully that means I can now finally get this grumpy look off my face!badboy, thanks for hosting this one. It's been a fun few weeks and a very interesting game for me. I've learned a lot in many aspects and am really happy that I signed up for this - even though I admit I may at times have bemoaned the lack of action. I guess all's well that ends well though; and that dragon has seen more than enough of his fair share of action! Well done Family... Hats off to vets def and Rick for pulling us all through, that was an absolutely awesome effort!
  2. Wow, that's very radiant. The colour combo has worked extremely well here; great job Pep! Instantly recognizable style on the whole racing car too - I love the front; looks like this baby means business. Any shots of the rear end?
  3. Well it looks like it's going to have substantially more pieces (883 as opposed to 3451's 574 pieces), so it's probably going to be a redesigned model. Awesome news, thanks GRogall!
  4. No. I think you knew this wouldn't work before you even launched it. Here's why: You might have been a Townie who got converted and given the red ninja powers; or you could have been a scumster all along. Either way, you obviously knew quite a bit. And it's nice that you've finally admitted that to be the case. I'm inclined to think it was actually the latter, with you pulling the strings behind the scenes from the off, and then taking things into your own hands during the last few nights. Obviously, you knew who you were going after - both when you were directing the black ninja, and while you were out as the red ninja. So I'm sorry if I don't buy into the claims of how uber-important to our Family you believe you have suddenly become. Either way, even if every single thing you're saying is the truth... or at least every single thing in your last actual claim, it still seems like you're just out there for yourself. What if the Family does not want Shiro dead? Have you considered actually discussing your night actions with the rest of loyal "Townies" around here? Of course not, why would you anyway. So, all in all, I'd much rather have no killers around and leave it all to come down to a cool-headed process of voting out the rest of the scumsters among us than wonder what plan your loyal, Town-focused mind will hatch next.
  5. So, no private message for old Nobuo? I thought I was also one of your mystery bestest buddies... Seeing as I believe you and everything...
  6. Seriously... I've been pursuing a vote against you for two days now since you've been inactive and of very little use since the moment you replaced Daisuke's alter-ego. The way I see things, we could as well have lost another "Townie" as a member of this Family who's killed off by the powers that be, if said Townie was to be a passive observer of the game. This isn't personal - but you really haven't done much to prove you're interested in actively contributing, and guess what - neither did your alter-ego. It's a bad predicament, I know, and perhaps it's not fair, but I just don't like that. As to me voting for Shiro... once again; seriously? Unvote: Shiro (Alopex) Vote: Akira (Bob) Does that now look better for all the indifferent bystanders? If anything, I'm now looking forward to finally being contacted in private by Akira!
  7. If he is indeed the red ninja, it's a pity we might not have a valiant jailkeeper to keep us safe tonight And I have to agree, metajoyriding isn't cool.
  8. Wow, that's great news!!! Why didn't you tell us a bit earlier though, we could have been subjecting him to this instead! Oh, I remember - you were too busy voting against Daisuke for no apparent reason. And counting days. And thanks for indirectly responding to my question - so you've tagerted Momoe and an unnamed Townie, and nobody else, but then again you also targeted Shiro as well. And you forgot to get in a night action. No hint of inconsistency here either, you're actually starting to sound like a very reasonable loyal member of this Family. So yeah sure, let's totally lynch Shiro; by all means!
  9. How convenient! I feel so much safer now! Out of sheer curiosity, who did you target anyway?
  10. Okay! Unvote: Akira (Bob) Vote: Shiro (Alopex) P.S.: I don't remember you having been able to protect anyone from the red ninja... or the black one, for that matter...
  11. An annoyingly lazy Town indeed. I would have expected a very different approach from a true Yakuza family. Especially considering how we can vote multiple times throughout the day... What's been happening lately is just inexcusable. We need all of you to step up and be involved, don't you realize that? Stupid excuses in the vein of "I can't be around all the time" are well... just that, stupid. If you didn't want to be involved and are hellbent on letting us all know how much other stuff you've got on your hands, why did you step inside this Temple in the first place!? Back to the topic at hand though. Yes, Akira has been moderately helpful. And he also seems to have worked behind the scenes in order to gain other people's trust from the off. Just like a smart scumster would do. If we are indeed looking for the last Mutineer, then he most probably is not a silent no-good sideline observer such as Daisuke; and is instead trying hard to connect to us, make us feel like we can trust him in order to survive. The thing is, while it might have been working behind the scenes (although I personally never was in touch with him), the more he speaks out in public, the less convincing Akira sounds. The inconclusive logic and reasoning, as substantiated on multiple occasions by Kin, to me is a dead giveaway. As is the mere use of the phrase... ...when you obviously are trying hard not to, but keep on doing just that. Once again, I'll drop pursuing my interest in Daisuke, since he really just seems genuinely uninterested at this point anyway. I'm starting to wonder why this particular character even survived his brain trauma in the first place. Unvote: Daisuke (K-nut) The repercussions of potentially losing a loyal Yakuza would be very tough on the Family, but as I said above, every word he's said so far is making him look more and more distant from the term "loyal". Not to mention the fact that he's been a largely bit-part presence in the Temple so far (unless we count his behind-the-scenes dealings, of course), and now all of a sudden he starts responding to every single word that's said, all the while claiming that he previously didn't have enough time to contribute ...!? Vote: Akira (Bob)
  12. I must say I actually agree with that game plan. If you're going to just sit around and wait for the investigator's results, the daily bandwagon, or some fax by a higher consciousness letting you know who you should vote against, chances are you're not of much use to this Family. Then again, that's not entirely the case with you as you have obviously helped on multiple occasions. And then all of a sudden you've just forgotten to put in your work for this Family, like that. I'm sorry but I've heard the "I'm so preoccupied with thoughts in my head about life outside the Temple" line way too often over the course of the last week or so. It never sounds right - if anything, it's a huge let down to all the other Townies, if you indeed are one, as you claim. And I'd be ready and willing to lynch any "Townie" that decides to use that lame excuse. What bugs me though is that the more you tell your story, the more it seems full of uncertainty. You really can't help but change your mind on a constant basis, and unless we're looking at a prime example of bipolar disorder here, it seems we've got someone who's really trying very hard to say all the right things and reply to all the accusations in order to escape conviction. The one thing I do agree with you on, however, is that you really did not at any point directly out Norio as the investigator - you merely insinuated that he probably has that role, and he went out of his way to confirm that... Focusing on someone else's game-plan and the fact that the Family slipped up by voting out Emi last night won't really help your cause too much, just like it didn't help Emi yesterday when she seemed to see the accusations against her as a sort of personal agenda. We're obviously not privy to all the info that's flying around, so we should be excused for lynching the wrong person. Once again though, if you knew something we didn't, you should have been on hand to stop us from doing so, and you weren't. And then you weren't there to do your work for the Family during the Night either. A bit of a coincidence, but at this stage of the game you have to agree that it really does smell and one can't help but wonder whether it wasn't also you who did slip up. In any case, I'm sure the train I'm on right now leads through a pretty dark tunnel and would like to see the other side of it. I feel extremely irked by the fact that Daisuke has all but ignored my accusations yet once again - so if there's one thing you can do, that would be to share your concerns and previous info regarding him and try to be helpful, even if you're in a bad situation - as Ichirou did.
  13. But you couldn't speak up in her defence, knowing that we were lynching a loyal member of this Family last night? I really want to keep my vote on Daisuke, but you're making it harder by the hour... Besides, outing any Townie reeks, period. If anyone wants to reveal their role, they should do it themselves. If you decide to do it for them, in public no less, it probably isn't the protection and the greater good of the Family you're interested in. And jumping on the Daisuke train without any further clarification of why you've decided to do so was pretty convenient too; almost too obvious for an actual scum...
  14. That info on Akira being active on odd nights and then forgetting to do his part for our Family does sound very odd indeed! I already said who I'm voting against today though and I'm not changing my mind, especially considering how he's done absolutely nothing to make me reconsider my stance. Vote: Daisuke (K-nut)
  15. Sure, accuse you of overreacting. Right. How about I accuse you of overthinking what might look scummy and trying very hard not to do it, just because you are actually as scum as they come? You really don't seem to be too keen on defending yourself, or you're not taking me seriously. Either way, you're also obviously none too talkative either - so I'd most definitely like to let your snot do the talking for you. You've managed to fly under the radar for long enough now, and that half-baked excuse just won't work. I was wrong to change my vote yesterday and help vote off a loyal member of this Family; I should have just kept my course steady!
  16. And I spoke of lynching you yesterday because of your blahdee-blahdee contributions. You could, of course, retain your hopes that the investigation results would aim the vote elsewhere, it's only logical and I'd pretty much expect that. I'm not changing my stance though, and your lack of any reaction to my accusations substantiates those even more.
  17. So you get voted against for being, in plain words, utterly useless to the Family, and that is all you have to say in your "defence"!? I'd have considered changing my vote right now, but I think it's a little late for that (although I seem to have lost any idea of how much a regular day is supposed to last while being kept in this Dojo... ). I know who I'm voting against tomorrow though!
  18. Father, could you please rectify that...
  19. Oh but there is plenty that can be done, and you've really not done anything. You see, I am very much in the same position as you. To begin with, due to an unfortunate turn of events and the "good work" both scum teams (for that's what anyone who's not Yakuza is to me) have done, I am not a "confirmed" Townie either. But that's not where the similarities end. I've also spoken up quite a bit, helped nail Yasu, among other agents and mutineers, and there is also proof of my efforts as well. However, as it turns out, I'm not currently under scrutiny. Which is, I would presume, due to the fact that I've worked for this Family by putting myself at risk on multiple occasions, and you do that by contacting people, extracting and sharing information and generally trying to generate some form of trust between yourself and other potential Family members. Not that I need to tell precisely you of all people how this game of life is played. But you know what, it occurs to me that caring and/or sharing is definitely not something I, or other Townies, obviously, have noticed in your "Townie contributions" so far. Forgive me, but I do not fancy the idea of keeping around another Agent. Which, judging by the above, are pretty high if we let you escape conviction tonight. If that is your way of telling us that the Agents are harmless, then I don't trust you one bit. Did you forget the fact that we were clearly told by my Father that this Family needs to get rid of both the Mutineers and the Agents? Prioritizing between both scum teams is of little use now, but it certainly seems to show where you're standing in this whole mess. Unvote: Daisuke (K-nut) Vote: Emi (Brickdoctor)
  20. Emi, do not forget that this is not a personal feud. At this stage there are people who have for one reason or another been "cleared" and obviously, despite your efforts to do things the (seemingly) "Townie" way and do your talking in public, for the time being it looks as though there is no direct confirmation on whether you are a Townie or not. What I'm trying to say is that pretty much all of the people who are being voted against today would need to come up with tangible proof of their efforts, so you shouldn't be angry at Norio for trying to push you as he is. Don't get me wrong, I'm not just saying this in order to jump on the bandwagon. Obviously, Norio and I have had our differences and we may not have seen eye to eye. He has, however, proven his credentials and helped this Family a great deal. So far, for the last few days, pretty much the only thing you've done is fuel a personal agenda against Lizzy. Obviously, at this point in time there is no way of telling whether that "proves" your allegiance in any way, so once again - instead of being angry and turning this into a war of words with Norio, I'd suggest you try and convince us all that you're a valuable and loyal member of the Family. For the time being, my vote stands where it is. I have not seen Daisuke contribute at all throughout this terrible week, and what's more important, I do believe that a large part of it is consistent with typical scummy behaviour. That can only be substantiated by his voting history (or rather, lack thereof). I know that these last few days in the Dojo have been rough on him, but right now I'm growing increasingly suspicious.
  21. ...either that, or .Sorry, just couldn't resist. And don't ask me how Scottish psychedelic cultural musical influence has reached all the way to Japan. Some things do really work wonders for you, but I guess Hanako would know more about that .
  22. The question is, in what way do all these hypotheses regarding the red ninja help us determine whether you, or other Family members, for that matter, are scum or not... If you ask me, that's all a nice attempt by someone to pull the wool over our eyes.
  23. In other words - if that's what you think, I can't really convince you otherwise. Where have we heard that before. We've all been cautious in private. However, I have been in touch with quite a few people so far - with some of those, any cooperation has been nonexistent (as was this case with my wife), with others my work has been extremely limited, at other points there've been talks that were a bit heated, and yet there have been other discussions which have been very fruitful. And yes, I too have been cautious at all times trying to accomplish what little I can do to help the Family. Trying to work with other true Townies, as you put it, requires a certain amount of risk, but if at some point you find yourself only having spoken out in the Day discussions, I wouldn't consider it too strange that you've suddenly become a target for suspicion. Based on your voting history and the fact that you've really voiced your suspicions in a loud and clear manner throughout this ordeal, I can't say that you look too scummy to me. Weirder things have happened though...
  24. I admit I'm also curious as to what Emi will have to say in this particular situation, considering just how outspoken she's been so far. I can honestly say that the whole "I don't trust any one of you" thing just does not sit right with me. If a week has not been enough for you to at least get a basic idea on who you can trust, then perhaps there is a reason why you'd rather not try and put your trust in random people. Daisuke's reasoning, however, also confuses me a lot. "I know I'm Yakuza and yeah, someone else has spoken out as well, so they might also not be scum" is definitely not the kind of contribution we're looking for. And if you really need a list of names with which to work (considering how you've based your statements on said list on two of the three occasions you've spoken up so far), you could at least have tried to substantiate that with proper observations. Sorry Elvis, but I'd like to hear more from you, so I'll Vote: Daisuke (K-nut)
