Once again a lot of us aren't making fun of the theme but the one set. And I for one would love something new, as is this is a Power Miner set in red! How is that new?!

LUGBULK - New concept for the AFOL community

I don't understand what is the problem with the USA? There are so many damn rules now as it is. -
The arms on the Aquazone sets were futurish realistic, they were futuristic and fun and never seen before. 14 years later there are 1,000 new pieces and yet all the sets still look the same. Also if the guy/gal who works at LEGO went "Yeah I know every, the sets are all garbage, but please buy them anyways! i won't be through!", how long do you think he will work at LEGO? lol The theme might still be nice, I'm saying this one set is bad.
-
The theme is very flawed, however at the same time it uses fun sand colors nicely. I'm actually a fan of the series and wish it got another year because the mechs were really awesome. I have all the sets except for $50 tan thing. I got the base for $26 shipped from Target, it's garbage, but once again the aliens and the theme had promise. Plus it's much better than Mars Mission.

This leaked picture is like 4 square cm. People are claiming that they have seen nice pictures and blah blah of the sets. I too have seen all the sets! They are awesome! The stuff is red and the minifigures will look like aliens! All that is true, but I can say that without ever looking at the theme because LEGO doesn't have human minifigures fight other true LEGO humans.

That's what one guy thinks. It's clear at least this one set looks just like Power Miners in a different color. Also why would LEGO be showing people new sets that don't come out for a few more months? LEGO is insanely paraniod about things like that.
-
How was the last one not traditional? It had garage doors, and looked very much like the Fire Stations of old. How would a set with three garage doors be traditional when the normal is two? Also it seems you just want a Fire Station that is like the $150 one that will be released this year, just buy that one then. And the last one sucked to you, luckily most people didn't agree because it was the number one, non-license, selling set of 2006.

Yeah I completely forgot that the Farm sets were TRU exclusives.

Some girls wear glasses
The Green Brick Giant replied to fallentomato's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Just be happy that LEGO knows what a woman is, they seemed to have completely have forgotten about them for years. Probably because they know what all 7 year old boys know, that girls are icky! -
^That's the main problem, if i was good with photoshop I could make the set lime green and add a rock monster and you would have a fakePower Miner set. LEGO needs to do different things and not just "Let's just through flick missiles and some Bionicle weapons on something and call it a day". I know children today suck, but new theme should mean do new things not just new/different colors. Also the humans will be the good guys and whatever lives under the sea will be the bad guys. That's how it always works.

That makes a lot of sense. However there needs to be more than that, only 5 sets? I'm hoping LEGO makes a real airport with big and small planes and a whole subtheme like they used to. Plus once again... more trains! :)
-
Why is everyone complaining? It's clear that sometime next year there will be a few Fire sets. However that won't stop LEGO from making awesome new City sets. I was really hoping for transportation in January, Airport and a lot more train sets, and then Fire and Zoo sets for the summer. I think it's only a matter of time before LEGO creates a zoo with all the new animals it's making.
-
I'm hoping it's fake. I have wanted an Atlantis theme forever, I want shark people, and mermaids and an adventure like theme. This looks like LEGO went "Well Power Miners didn't sell as well as we had hoped, and Aqua Raiders better than we had hoped, so let's make the sets red and make a new theme!" I hope they turn out a lot better, and will be waiting for much larger pictures.

If the windmill powerset set with 444 pieces is $60USD then I doubt this will be lower than $80. Actually i think it will be $80, most likely $90. Which is a ripoff when you have the awesome Market set that I still need to buy.

Years ago I saw a pink priness keychain at a LEGO Store for $4 (The normal price then), and I'm still kicking myself for no buying 10 of them. It was the same style as the one you posted, but in pink.

Train Parts Needed for Pick A Brick
The Green Brick Giant replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Yep, they come in red with fire station sets, and I think orange for the coast guard sets. -
Lego Racers McDonalds German
The Green Brick Giant replied to Lego Chicago's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Let's clear something up, they are not LEGO sets, they are Chinese BS toys that Lego desided to throw their name on the bag, the pieces themselves don't even say LEGO. -
I say the chance is almost 0. Who knows what the contract says, I'm sure it's not for every single movie Disney makes. Also have you seen the trailer for the sequel? PG-13 rating for sure, and that's out of LEGO's demo.

More new products from Shop@Home (2009 later half)

The Pirate tic tac toe is more useful than the battlepack and they will be around the same price! -
Imagine Yourself as a Lego Set Designer.
The Green Brick Giant replied to Go Cubs Go!'s topic in General LEGO Discussion
I would make a new theme of mermaids and shark people, the pieces from the Harry potter sets. I don't care if it's a sub theme of Pirates but the theme would need to have the mermaids as good and the sharks as bad and theyfight but nothing too bad. -
Exactly, I think it will be 2 years and we will get a Zoo theme finally. Also the Space Police guys at least look like minifigures, and the same goes with the Star Wars aliens. The TS ones look horrible, and Play Mobile like.

Lego Racers McDonalds German
The Green Brick Giant replied to Lego Chicago's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Thanks, I studied them more, I think they are 3-5 pieces, made in China most likely. They look better than the USA ones did, but still crap. -
Lego Racers McDonalds German
The Green Brick Giant replied to Lego Chicago's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I doubt they are real LEGOs. I worked at a McDonald's and there was a LEGO thing and it turned out it looked somewhat like LEGO, but it was really only like 2 pieces. -
Oddly enough I hate the main characters, they match, but the heads look too weird. The army men and the aliens... superme. (I had to amke a word up, that good).
