  1. As long as it's sold in the usa and coems with a pig i don't care.
  2. Oh well that explains it, some people just have no taste. hehe
  3. Not if you live in North America. I like the newer dragons, I thought they did a great mix between keeping it feel like a LEGO with the joint parts and making it look nice. Also way does everyone like to live in the past? It's not 1985 anymore, things change. The fantasy sets were great because they kept the old school feel but spiced it up. All it needed was another human fraction or two and it would have been great. Frankly I think the main problem with Castle is LEGO never tried anything new and all we get are the same old pile of grey bricks. The hatred for fantasy is amazing to me, would everyone rather have Knights Kingdom 1 and 2 again? Or Castle Junior and Junior Bionicle Castle?
  4. That's what I doi, I don't spend more than $25 for a set normally, but love getting the smaller sets if for no other reason that the minifigures.
  5. Can we do another 24 or 48 days?
  6. I'd like to know where this idea of monorail coming back came from, but I have a feeling I know, and it's not pleasant. The voting was truck stop, transportation center and city square. There was never any promise at all of getting a monorail!
  7. Already happened, 10 years ago. As a 14 year old I liked it... http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=6713-1
  8. Well 3 out of four ain't bad! EDIT - Opps there are canapults too, 50% ain't bad!
  9. I wasn't sure where this went, so I figured it looks like racing Agents so it's an action theme. I think they look good, I like race cars with minifigures and are sick to death with the tiny turbos. I just wish there were more colors, but there is always 2011.
  10. *Looks through the smilies...* I can't find what I want... *Gives you evil look* What I don't get is why LEGO can't have best of both worlds, have skellies and dwarfs and such as different fractions along with Wolfmen (which the warewolf head) and forestmen and such too. Have a big crazy Castle world.
  11. I did a quick search and didn't see anything about this new theme, which I thought was weird... If I'm blind I'll say sorry now. Here are the pictures.... http://www.flickr.com/photos/9824337@N06/4209583754/ Looks interesting. Considering LEGO never makes and new City minifigures I'm hoping the minifigures in this new theme will be good, and new. I find it interesting that they are releasing the sets in the summer, don't most completely new sets get released in January because there is more Toy Fairs and such to show them off? Still looks interesting, could be talknig Agents place. Another point of interest is the fact it's called World Racers and yet the only two colors are red and lime green, no other racing colors in the world?
  12. Which is my problem with the whole theme, it now costs an insane amount. However I like the simple crossing, it means it will be cheap and there hasn't been a cheap one in many years.
  13. I love how people only read or see what they want too. I have nothing against most of the sets. The first leaked picture of the three wheeled thing is still a horrible mess. Plus I still like the last Aqua Raiders better. I also hate the underwater Alpha team sets. After the wonderful first line the underwater sets were a mess.
  14. I swear I replied to this. LEGO knows vehicles sell really well, it's why all the City sets need to have one. I figured there would at least be something like in the new Castle line, something with wheels. The flick missile carts don't count.
  15. Well considering we already know of all the 2009 sets and they can be bought....
  16. Hey now let's not say something so bad we can't take it back, nothing could be as bad as that Alpha Team base.
  17. Thanks Rick, they are looking good. I will still miss the crazy dwarf and fantasy, and LEGO better release the Impulse sets in the USA this time!!!
  18. I'm not going to buy the base (I need to cut back on something) but it looks real nice. It looks like it might be the return of the half dome huge piece.
  19. Who would have thought?!
  20. The big set looks great! I'll buy it once this line fails. It's interesting how almost every LEGO set has at least a vehicle but that this theme has none.
  21. All I get is.... The requested URL /gallery/gerjan/Oberhausen/011.jpg was not found on this server. So were they taken down or is my Firefox being screwy again?
  22. Umm... aren't you just proving my point. How would I start a flame war? Because I don't see something the exactly the same way as you.
  23. The City promos have have big plain buildings in the back! Maybe we will get that too!
  24. These are separate. That is just a one off special set while these four sets are the Train theme. We will know the winner in two months, but it makes the most sense that the truck stop won. We have a passenger train, that is flat, and a cargo train like LEGO has been releasing for decades now. No need to over think it. To me it looks like we are getting a redo of this set... http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=7822-1 And a smaller version of this (just because of the yellow truck) http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=10128-1
  25. I'd like to know what "red elevated train" everyone is seeing. It's a regular red train on regular plastic tracks. There is a word for it, but all you guys are seeing is what you want to see.
