  1. I agree with Brody. Those who take initiative are not necessarily scum, I'd hazard to guess that usually the followers who bandwagon vote are more frequently the scum, as it is a relatively safe way to avoid attention. That being said, not everyone who bandwagon votes is scum, most are just worried townies.
  2. Randy, how are you figuring out who's scum without taking part in the town discussion?
  3. I agree with Brody and my partner Gregor, Mafia types like to draw as little attention to themselves as possible, which is why Randy appears suspicious to me, but, he has drawn attention to himself by not participating. This may be a not be a scummy mistake, but not participating can be as dangerous to our towns well-being as scumming.
  4. Why is Patrick Parrot lying down? Wait... Oh Gawd he's dead too! What are we to do!? On a lighter note though, we can now be sure that the mayor is scum if we weren't already.
  5. I concur with your use of the word concur. And MetroiD's request. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  6. Well, The Mayor did draw attention to Chief Brody in a negative manner, and since we all assume him to be scummy, then we can assume that Brody is not scum. Or, using reverse psychology, the mayor, being scummy, may assume that we would come to this conclusion if he behaved negatively towards Brody, therefor making us believe Brody to be innocent when he really isn't. Or maybe, the mayor would suspect that we would suspect this and then vote off Brody so that we would have voted for an innocent! I'm so confused! I need my closet!
  7. Aaaah! Dead body! This is terrible! We've got to stop those responsible right away!
  8. Ooooh, I'd love a cocktail! Claiming to be a carpenter is busy work too! Tee-hee!
  9. Sorry for the mix-up guys, Hinckley gave me Gregor's character description (luckily not role or affiliation) so don't take my initial statement as scummy, it was all just a mistake. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  10. Oh, there you are Gregor! Well, hi everyone, you all know me, Gavin Gorilla, the town's carpenter. I'm glad we're finally dealing with this mafia business. It's has been going on for far too long and it's about time we got around to doing something about it.
  11. I'm glad to be part of this! I saw my name but felt hesitant about posting here, but I decided too once I realized other people were. I'm so excited for the game! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  12. Of course, how silly of me to not list the name of the mafia game I played. It was Bob the Construction Man's Prohibition Mafia, and I played the role of Serial killer! Thank you again for considering me. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  13. Ooooh! Another Furry Fabuland Mafia! A Mafia school game in which people who have already participated in a game, but who would like to gain more experience with Mafia games can play! I definitely want to play! Will I be traveling between now and June 15th? Nope! Have I ever played a Mafia game before? Yes. I have participated in (and won) one Mafia game, but I really want to continue gaining experience! As for my favorite animal, I'd have to say the brown bat, because it's so fluffy! but as far as Fabuland figs, I'd go with the hippo because I have the fig and hippos are supper dangerous and cute. I hope I make it on your list of 16. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  14. I spot Ogel's Undersea Base! Great job with the episode, but I'm glad to sea the medium is back to Lego. Also, I loved that surprise ending! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  15. Wow! Can you do that for the Insectoids' website? ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  16. Title: It's not the package that matters, but the contents. So It's not the first castle crate, nor is it the first transforming one, but I think it's pretty cool. Also, I had so much fun with the first crate that I made a second! The clueless crown soldiers permit the golden clad knight to pass with his Troll captives and suspicious crates.... Only to become the Troll hordes new prisoners. Here's the crate contents folded. Here it is unfolded. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  17. Wow! I finally won a contest! I think this may be my first I'm so glad I got a chance to participate, and am glad that so many of you thought my entry was worthy of being a winner! There were so many great entries! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

  20. Blacktron Invasion Theme: Space minifigures Series one: Space Hero Series two: Weight lifter unseen Series three: Space Villain The orange warning lights flashed at a set tempo which insured that nobody would have a seizure; that would be the last thing the space agency needed. As the hallways filled with panicked button-pushers, the upper levels of the moon base were being over-run. One force alone could commit such an atrocity, only one had the audacity to even contemplate the violent take over of a peaceful Space Agency base: Blacktron. No-one could have predicted the attack, but one had been warned. Though called a hero by his friends, the fraudulent Dodge Lazerrunner had made a few deals with a Blacktron informant. Deals which made this particular mission possible. The turn-coat had been told the date and time off the attack, but kept it to himself. Thankfully, fate found him when his escape craft didn't, and the only thing he got in return for his invaluable services was a lazer bolt in the head. A lazer bolt fired by none other than the nefarious leader of Blacktron's Lunar Legion himself. Only a few men survived the first battle of the first Blacktron War, but a notable survivor was Rick Karmation, who had been lifting weights in the mandated exercise room at the time of the assault, and got a head start to the escape pods. You can witness more of the massacre here: Flickr ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  21. Title: Peace and Subtlety minifig: Samurai Theme: fuedal Japan I present my first entry, The Japanese castle. Preparing for the battle tomorrow, The Samurai winds down and tends to his bonzai. Little does he know that a ninja has been sent by his enemies to assassinate him. The tree fits under the two stud limit, but in these pictures it's out to about three. If necessary, I'll retake them, but I can't until sunday, but do tell me, 'cause I don't want to be disqualified. More pics, including one with the samurai, are available at my flickr acount: yay! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  22. Gifts Ahoy I do Birthday parties with LEGO minibuilds. This upcoming party I have FOUR varieties of gift! Bring on the minis! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  23. True, and I know that it really is my fault that I missed it, but I sort of did expect a sign-up post on the frontpage as previous mafia games have had. Also, I didn't expect the sign-ups to start until after the asylum game was concluded. furthermore, by sheer dumb luck, I never once saw it in the recent posts section. Although I will for this game, I generally don't delve into the games forum unless I am involved in a game or attempting to become so. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  24. What ever happened to advertising Mafia game sign-ups on the front page?! This was the upcoming game that I was most interested in, and I missed it because every time I checked the most recent post in the games theme, it belonged to the insane asylum game. I was very frustrated to learn that I missed my opportunity to participate in this game, especially since I am as obsessed with the macabre as I am with Lego . I realize that this rant is late and I should have posted it sooner, but since the initial disappointment, I put this on the back-burner. Rant over. I really do like the theme of this mafia game and find it's execution top-rate. Sorry for being annoyed. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
