  1. Well, if you're so adamant that there maybe a scum among those who voted off Irena yesterday, please elaborate, even if it's a 'gut feeling'. Nothing is out of the question and you may be on to something. It's just that I think, unless you do have someone in mind, that there are more likely suspects among those who did not vote for Irena. But please if you have someone in mind, spill the beans!
  2. Megablox yeah! One scum down and however many there are left to go! Poor Jacob though. I sort-of trusted him towards the end of his life and I found most of what he said to be logical. No doubt, he would have been a great asset today. ...And then there were nine. Now lets get down to the nitty gritty! I concur. Of the two though, Dragana strikes me as the least trust worthy. Most of her contributions have consisted of meaningless banter, such as that last comment last night that woke me from my slumber or berating sarcasm similar to Irena's. I disagree with most of this. Yes, it's possible that one or more scum voted for Irena, but not probable, and that being said, it's far more likely that one or more scum did not vote for a comrade. The disadvantages of voting off one of their own would outweigh the benefits, in my opinion. Furthermore, I don't particularly suspect anyone who did vote for Irene. You, I don't distrust because of Irena's determination to kill you in addition to reason's I explained yesterday; Fuchsia I don't distrust because of her list, which I also explained yesterday; Petra I don't distrust because she's been mostly logical and Irena tried to manipulate her death yesterday as I explained when I voted for Irena; and Corndia has been mostly logical too. To me it's one of the four who did not vote for Irena yesterday, specifically, Dragana, that I suspect. I may be wrong, but at least we shouldn't start with those who just successfully voted off a member of the guilty party.
  3. I know. I don't want anyone dying at random. (Well, I don't want any townies dying in general!) If someone has to be killed today let it be by conscious decision rather than by neglect of our duties. I, personally, am likely as confused as you are, but I agree that someone must be chosen to be voted off. I reviewed today's happenings and I think I agree most with arguments made against Irena. To me it does seem that she has been "flying under the radar" in ways and also seems (Now I may just be seeing things here. I probably am.) to be suggesting that Petra is guilty and trying to manipulate the crowd through subtle statements, such as Which don't directly accuse Petra or even affiliate Irena to anyone accusing Petra but which might start a conversation leading to her conviction. Again, I'm probably just seeing something that's not here, but This looks to me like a vague suggestion that people should look at Petra. For the most part, I've noticed that too. It might just be just how she normally acts but I find it suspicious-ish. I'm going to go ahead and vote for Irena. Vote: Irena Spalkowa (Shadows) I'm not entirely convinced and I'm still open to criticisms so please let them be forthcoming.
  4. Well, It appears that quite a few people are suspicious of Amy and my wife. I am quite confused on the matter, but I'm a bit concerned that voting Amy off may be a mistake. I understand that we have less than 12 hours before the day ends, but I'm just not convinced. My chief concern is Fuchsia's list. I've been thinking about it and I just can't figure how a scum would come up with that list. Allow me to explain: First there's the obvious, oft' mentioned, "a scum wouldn't draw that much attention to him/herself" (spoken in a bratty kid's voice) which is not entirely true as we've all pointed out in circular argument format, but, in this case, it really makes sense. In writing a list for all to see of people she "suspects", not only did she make those people suspicious of her, but she also made everybody else question her. Secondly, I've been trying to figure out how a scum, knowing full well where loyalties lie, would be able to make such a thing. How would a scum, who's sole goal in this game... of life is to kill off all the loyals and live to tell the tale, concoct a list which would achieve that goal without drawing suspicion. She couldn't make all 4 innocent, at that point, she couldn't blame it all on bad luck or a misjudgment, and she'd be lynched or vigilante-ed. And at the same time, putting any scummies on the list would endanger her chances of winning. I just can't conceive of a worse move for a scum to make aside from saying "I'm scum." (ok, that's kind-of an exaggeration but, it really would be a dumb thing to do). In my opinion, I'm either over estimating her, or she's loyal. Amy, I'm not so sure about, but it seems to me that the largest argument against her, correct me if I'm wrong, seems to be her bizarre trust in Fuchsia. The thing is though, I understand that sentiment. I'm not saying that I trust that either is innocent, but Amy's trust in Fuchsia seems logical to me in a way.
  5. I was thinking the same thing, but I was wondering if that counted as a "clue in the picture" was a diction choice by our just-as-in-the-dark-as-we father. If it is indeed a helpful slip-o'-the-tongue, than it would only mean she wasn't the killer, and would not mean that she isn't scum (to clarify what you said.)
  6. Oh no, my poor brother! What a shame! Enhanced by the fact that I still have hardly a clue as to whom the perpetrators might be! As for my silence during the lynching--I simply fell asleep (and slept in). I guess my lassitude spared me from making a bad mistake in lynching Sammy. I have no solid suspicions towards anyone, but I still find it quite odd that my delicate flower of a wife forgot to mention Amy in her list of suspects silent despite the fact that at that point she had only spoken about twice, but the list itself did not strike me as particularly scummy and the Amy exclusion was likely, as she said, just a mistake. I really suspected Henry and Petra as both being scum, but it appears Henry was clean, well, dirty but, you know.
  7. Interesting. I wanna see what happens, but it doesn't look like you took much time to explain your vote. It's not that I don't understand from whence you're coming, but it seems a bit... lacking, and I personally am not convinced. I agree, Amy has said very little of any importance. In fact, now that you bring this to my attention, it does seem quite suspicious.
  8. Oooh, I like where this is going! Yes, the whip! Fuchsia, you have a whip, right? Or was that someone else? Thus-far, the family seems split between Henry and Petra, or rather, several people are defending Petra, and Henry seems to suspect her because she said something or other about about threats while everyone else was burying his or her face in pie. Children don't even like pie yet! I gotta say, Henry seems to be shooting in the dark, and not really hitting anything. I don't think though, that this makes him un-loyal. And I can't say that I think Petra is un-loyal. I'm conflicted. Aside from accusing Petra, Henry has done nothing that would indicate to me that he's scum. And, as others have pointed out, that's not scummy behavior. Still, Henry's a veteran and may just be accusing Petra to gain our trust. So confused! Maybe it's all this pie.
  9. Come to think of it, that means that we can't do anything privately I agree, this mode of action leaves too much up to chance. Also it's far too passive. If we are to defeat our treacherous family members, we've gotta take matters into our own hands! I think this one takes the cake! Although, maybe with a few exceptions, like the protector. We can't have him or her reveal his or her role, because then the scum could easily single him or her out and shank him or her with his or her boxer briefs or panties down! After that, we wouldn't have any protection at all! The investigator, I think should be the only one to reveal his or her role, and only when the time's right, such as after a successful investigation. I don't even see this as an option, if everyone claims a role than the room will be in total chaos!
  10. Well that's no good maybe we should get him a sexy nurse ( ) to make sure he remembers things. Like pants.
  11. Daddy's home! Well, Daniel that is, not you Pops. Fidelity, what!? That's no fun. Although, you can make anything fun. Rawr!
  12. Correct. ~Insectoid Aristocrat P.S. It is a joke.
  13. Oooooh! I'm so excited! Firstly, I'm itching for another game! In my last game (Mafia School: Fabuland Mafia by Hinkley (which I passed, although I'd participated in another full Mafia game and several "massacre" mafia games)), I died on the first day, leaving me to watch my companions beat the scum on their own. Naturally, after that I longed to play again as soon as possible so that I could once again feast upon the sweet applesauce of victory (as I did in my first game, Prohibition Mafia by Bob_the_Construction_Man) Secondly, I may not get a chance to participate in the Mafia game following this because in late August, I'm taking a 2 week vacation in Germany during which I will not be able to access the Internet consistently. July and early August (and June) are totally free though. Please consider me for the game. I'm consistent in my posting (in Mafia games), logical in my arguments, excellent at playing without much behind the scenes chatter (which you mentioned was prohibited) (as evidenced by my performance in Prohibition Mafia ), and take pride in my accurate speling. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  14. Here's mine! One thing I regret not doing is not taking part in very much PMing. I only sent one, and that was to confirm that Gregor knew I was a Townie too, which was very safe. This makes two games in which I had very little part in the behind the scenes. Although, oddly enough, at least once, it made my character appear very un-suspicious (my last and first Mafia game where I lived till the end, only to be contacted by the mafia on the last day when they wanted my "help"). I can't wait to sink my monkey paws into another mafia game so that I can take part in behind the scenes action too! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  15. Thanks, but I prefer bananas! Even though I died on the first day, it was still a fun game to watch! I really thought that Waterbrick Down was scum judging on the fact that I died first, and he struck me as the most logical choice to kill first. Then again, he was blocked, so maybe it was a smarter move killing me. Especially since it also meant the death of my beloved and the town's doctor. I don't know if it's a mistake or not, but in the grades, I appear to be the only player who played a game previously to have passed without you mentioning that I have played others. (It was Bob_The_Construction_Man's Prohibition Mafia, as can be seen in my signature) It doesn't matter though. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  16. Hey, Schwartz, have you ever gone on any "off-camera" dates with Valkyrie, so to speak. If so, how many have you gone on in total, and which one was your favorite. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  17. HA! Good job! Way to stick to your guns Mikey! (But you best have packed some, 'cause Your facing a mob!) ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  18. I knew Randy was innocent, but I'm a bit surprised that Gregor was the town doctor (why didn't you tell me this when we shared potatoes?)! I now have a fairly good idea as to the identity of at-least one scum. I can't wait to watch this develop! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  19. Oops! Looks like somebody made a Gravin mistake! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  20. I am honoured and can't wait to take part in the next mafia game. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  21. Aww, I died. Well, that was fun! There's a first time for everything. I'm refering to both being a townie, and dieing. Thanks for the opportunity to gain experience, You go town, kick those scum bums! ~the Insectoid Aristocrat formerly known as Gavin
  22. Ooooh, Awkward! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  23. Thanks Gregor. And thank you for your explanations, they are all logical. I hope that you are indeed a townie. Unvote: Randy Rabbit/Alex the Great Although I agree with your sentiment and fears, I also think that by refusing to vote due to a lack of evidence may be dangerous. There is no evidence, all we have is intuition. In addition to suspecting Randy, I also suspected a few other people for very little reason. One of which was Marcus Mouse, who hardly contributed. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought so. I hope this is the right course of action... Vote: Marcus Mouse/ Bricks2000
  24. Firstly, thank you for not accusing me simply because I am suspicious of you. Some statements you have said which I find confusing are as follows: Both of these are confusing, but the last just could be awkward phrasing. As I have already voiced, I don't understand your first statement. If you have ideas as to who's a scum, why not tell us your theories? What do you mean by "check me out?" most of this statement's logic confuses me. These are most of my concerns, in addition to your absence from most of this mornings conversation. Again, I'm not positively sure of your scummyness, and it's nothing personal.
  25. Well, I suspect Randy to be a mafia member. The more I think about it, the more certain I become. It seems like all he's done today has been defend himself, even when not accused: And use the fact that there's no evidence on the first day as most of his entire argument: Furthermore, he has said many things in his limited posts with which I disagree and/or am confused by. It seems he hostilely targets everyone who is suspicious towards him. I don't know about anyone else, but I think it's time to act. I'm gonna vote, and I hope it's not wrong. Please don't get angry at me if it is, also I'm absolutely not certain, so I'm open for a counter-argument or a more likely suspect. I'm just worried about what would happen to us all if we don't vote. So far, Randy is the most likely candidate, so... Vote: Randy Rabbit/Alex the Great Eeep.
