"Down worry mate, false alarm. It was a protest march."
-
"This, I have heard. But I prefer vanilla, a bean which is also grown by the southern elves and heart-eating barbarians. Occasionally, the two plants are even grown together!" It was evident that Sylph enjoyed talking about plants.

Yes, and Cleric-Ranger combo is Druid and Cleric-Rogue is Witch (who has permanently poisoned weapons.) I'm glad to see there's another DnD fan out there! I look forward to seeing your character! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

"I'm a cleric. It's my civic duty."

"I'm going to regret this. Aren't I?"

"I'm one of those." commented sylph as he lifted himself up from the corner in which he had been sleeping. "Let me take a look." Sylph approached the ranger calmly but assertively. He grabbed Bacari's arm and with medical precision peeled back his bloody sleeve, exposing his cut. Bacari grimaced. "Oh don't be such a baby," chastised Sylph. "It's just a flesh wound." Bacari knew that Sylph was under-exaggerating. He could tell that the bloody "wind warrior" had pierced his muscle quite deeply in some places. "Here, this won't even use any of my aether." said Sylph before he made several deft hand gestures and chanted several incomprehensible words. A divine light glowed briefly around the wound which rapidly became a scar which then gave way to healthy skin. Bacari felt rejuvenated and much better. Without a word, Sylph dropped his arm and addressed the hall. "And have you foreigners really never seen an Orcish freedom rally? It's just a bloody parade protesting the enslavement of their race!" With that he retired to his corner, but not before getting himself an herbal tea.

I love the use of the buffalo hat , but in stats you should have; 1 potion and 1 bottle of mead. When it says potion it means heal potion, not any potion. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

"I don't think that ingesting the venom will do him any harm," said Sylph who was suddenly behind the ranger. "Trust me, I'm a cleric."

Sylph approached Gnomeo's stall haltingly. When he arrived he pulled 5 coins from his poach and said, "Ok, I'd like a bedroll please." The Gnome complied with a grunted "Nyah!" and Sylph returned to the hall. (5 gold for bedroll)

Sylph approached the bar. After a day of lounging in the Hall, he was finally hungry. He didn't dare sit down, so he ordered a cup of water and a loaf of bread and some fruit and walked with it back to his reclusion. His bat clung to a beam on the ceiling right above Namyrra and the imp.
-
Turning around, Sylph realized that he was mistaken when he thought to himself that he saw a gaudy green eye-patched ranger ask him to drink. The person in question was neither a ranger nor a player character, but rather the same crusader from before who had returned wearing a green hat and an eye-patch, missing the irony of himself taking part in the drinking game, but reveling in the ale nonetheless. "I'd like to buy another pint!" he called to the annoyed waitress. Disgusted, Sylph went back to looking for the shadow mage.
-
The shadowy man and his bat had long since departed from the table at which they had been sitting. The paranoid ranger had quickly become distracted and was now stirring a poison with his crossbow bolts. Sylph had instead taken to sulking in a corner, eyeing all who entered. Most hadn't noticed him. The newcomers piled in one after another each becoming involved with the ruckus transpiring around the drinking table in their own special ways. Although many were dressed in a peculiar fashion with unique stories, one being in particular aroused Sylph's usually quiescent interests. She appeared to be a mage with her long black robe and mystic attitude, but just by looking at her and the way that shadows shifted at her will, Sylph could tell that she was more than that. He sensed un-earthly power, which intrigued him. Sylph pulled the hood off of his sheen-less metal helmet and began the tiresome task of approaching her from across the crowded room. It was a quest in and of itself. "Come drink wiff us!" shouted a gaudy green ranger with an eyepatch, "There's no way that Barbarian will get the best of me!" Bacari the ranger from before seemed frustrated with his rowdy pall, but ordered a drink nonetheless. Finally, Sylph made it through the crowd, but couldn't seem to find the mysterious three-eyed mage who had been there just seconds before.

Thanks, I was unsure whether that meant the invasion of the orcs or the reclamation by the Heroes. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Oooh, this talk of maps has been most enlightening. Until now I had assumed that Eubric Freeport was a city in Ennon (well, on an Island, but part of...) So, does that mean that the Kingdom of Ennon has not been liberated from the orcs (or goblins) yet? ~Insectoid Aristocrat

I also would like to host a quest once I've played a couple. I've never hosted a game on Eurobricks before, but I've been a DnD DM for years! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Wow, I was hoping to post more in the Hall, but since my character so reserved, I've only posted twice. It's like a mad house! I have a question about mechanics: Will there be any search-check-like actions (or passive perception like they have in DnD v.4). I'm assuming that it's up to the QM's digression because the character sheet doesn't mention it (or at least it doesn't mention a bonus). This looks like allot of fun and I hope I get into one of the first quests (although, with so many people signed up, I'm kind of worried now ) No way anyone can physically consume that much alcohol, or liquid in general. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

"We can sit." Said the gloomily garbed Sylph. Bacari stood up and gestured to his stool, but Sylph had already found another. The two sat down and stared at each other for a bit, before Bacari broke the silence. "So, what can you tell me about yourself (although I appear to know much about you already) ." "Well, I can tell you what I know of you." "I'm intrigued, though you haven't answered my question." "It would appear that you posses a poisoned crossbow, and a set of morals, neither of which I would enjoy crossing." "Interesting... It was the bat that told you this, no?" "Correct again." "Peculiar, You are a cleric, (I know this about you because I can read your character sheet) Yet you can speak to animals like a ranger? How so?" "Firstly, I can't speak to animals. Yes, I am not myself a ranger, but my master was, amongst other things. I trained under his wing for a long time, but he died before I learned the ways of the ranger. I can communicate with my companion, but nothing else. my ears are dead to the vaster world around me." "That's unfortunate." "Indeed. So tell me more about yourself. I prefer listening anyways."

A little black bat crawling on the underside of the roof had gone unnoticed by the denizens of the hall. The mouse-like being suddenly unfurled its membranous wings for the first time in a week. It swooped down over the heads of its onlookers, headed straight for the doors. The doors of the hall were pushed open as, from between them, a figure emerged. The bat landed nicely on its shoulder and clung to the drab fabric of its grey cape. From the doorway gusted a chill breeze which swept across the hall and caused the figure's cape to billow. The figure was wrapped in grey, green garb which looked as if it had been left hanging, exposed to the elements, for years. Its helmet resembled a large animal skull made of metal, and in the figure's gloved hand rested a staff. The door shut behind him as he strode toward the quest post with a sense of direction hinting that he knew where he was going, even though he'd never been in the hall before. upon arriving, he drew a feather from a concealed bag, and etched his name on the sign-up sheet for Quest 1 and Quest 3. Wow, This looks super interesting! Will there be mechanics for druids as a class? ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Belville Mafia: Conclusion
Dannylonglegs replied to Quarryman's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, the end was fun to watch! Here's my post: I kinda guessed that the town had no night actions on the third day. I figured that an investigator would have popped up by then. ~Insectoid Aristocrat -
Belville Mafia: confirmation/discussion
Dannylonglegs replied to Quarryman's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thanks for letting me play Quarryman! It was real fun! My only regret is that I won't be able to water my delicate Fuchsia. I hope she doesn't wilt. ~Insectoid Aristocrat -
Thanks for breaking the ice, however, I think that Dragana should be our focus today. Firstly, she seems more suspicious to me; her comments have all been very similar to Irena's, and even though that seems to lessen your suspicions, it does not for me. Richelle and Dragana may both be scum, but I'm more confident in Dragana's treachery than Richelle's (although you could hardly say that I'm confident in anything). Secondly, Dragana has hardly contributed at all today! She's been more quiet than Richelle, only piping in once! and arguably less helpful, speaking of distrusting Fuchsia and Cornelia because they're "ringing alarm bells" but not providing any substantiation and reminding us how pudgy you are and then stating that "dearest Henry might have been on to something there" I do find her similarity in behavior to Irena to be odd but I think she's playing it up. She has said very little logic (in my opinion) and is all-in-all suspicious. Moreover her distrusts lie in people whom I find un-suspicious, my wife and Cornelia, so I Vote: Dragana/Dragonator. She's referring to Dragana and put the parenthesis in the wrong place. (I think)
-
You may be a townie and just holding an opinion different from mine, but my thoughts are almost opposite yours. Again, no matter how possible it is that there is a scum among the Irena voters, it's more likely that, at the very least, one scum did not vote for her. If two scums participated in the vote, then they would have seriously tipped the vote. That would be an entire two thirds of the voters consisting of scum! to lynch a scum! It makes no sense! (Any more would be idiotic, but I don't think there could be more than two left (I hope)(I excluded Irena from this equation, yesterday there would have been three scum).) As it is, 1 vote would be very important as only 6 were needed. I just don't think that the scum would have tried it, and if they did, it would be one of the last, if not the last, to vote, which would have been Amy who I sort-of trust because she was targeted by Irena or Petra who was also targeted by Irena (although, I don't trust her as much as I do Amy). Any vote by a scum before that, when it was not a "lost battle" would have been stupid. Also it was never really even a "lost battle." The vote was not a landslide by any stretch of imagination and Amy avoided conviction by the skin of her baby teeth. The scum really came close to convicting Amy and keeping Irena and would have been that much closer to beating us. I don't suggest we rule anyone out, but it does not seem to me that it would have been a beneficial move for a scum to vote off Irena, therefor making it more likely that the scum reside among those who refrained from voting for Irena. No mean to offend, but this appears to me to be an appeal to those of us who don't suspect Amy because of her 'near-death-experience'. Both Fuschia and Cornelia seem to me to be not very suspicious for the reasons that I've previously explained, and that both of them, or at least Cornelia, voted for Irena very early in the conviction when Amy was very close to being a Kiddie Meal. I dunno. I might be wrong, but I don't think I am. *When I said 6 I meant 7, I forgot to include Jacob. Sorry. Either way, 2/7 is still a stupid move for the scum.
