*Donna swims to the edge of the pool and pulls herself out, with a little help from her Hubbie, but before she gets out, she looks under the water at the fish like shape swimming below, also trying to megablocks the depth of the pool.* Damnit Diesel, now I'm wet! I'm sorry I lashed out at you, but... try to be more considerate. Is this fighting what DJ would have wanted? *(I meant to say ....trying to assess the depth of the pool.)

Oh William! No! Swim William swim!!! I don't trust anything on this god-forsaken Island, and right now, you're in immediate danger (I think)! Get out of there!!! *Breaks into tears* You did this! *points at Diesel* You cowardly, disgraceful oaf! You pushed the one thing I had left into enchanted water with some sort of creature in it!! You think you're the only one who cared about DJ? You didn't carry her in your womb for 9 months! Now you want to kill my Husband?!?! NO! *Pushes diesel into the water* Go bring my William back!!!

Red Moon 2 Confirmation & Discussion

Donna Falcon here! Wish I wasn't! I wanna go home! Thank goodness my Husband is still ok. I don't know what I'd do without him. -
Sylph chuckled silently to himself as the room quieted down. With the talkative/ awake heroes gone, he felt secure enough to enter a trance-like rest, his consciousnesses slipping into the back of his mind.

Monster Fighters 2012
Dannylonglegs replied to Darth Nihilus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I concur, If anyone saw the action film, Van Helsing, I imagine they're similar to Drac's babies. I'm still impressed that lego came up with an entirely new arm piece than functions with the traditional hand but does not follow the typical arm design. Fascinating. ~Insectoid Aristocrat -
Monster Fighters 2012

I expect that, if the colors remain as they are, they'll be batpeople, or vampire spawn, but they may be "animated gargoyles" or something of the like. It would be nice to see some gargoyles. ~Insectoid Aristocrat -
Monster Fighters 2012

That's even cooler! I was hesitant to call them that because they are brown, not grey as I would traditionally envision a gargoyle. Perhaps it's a preliminary color? ~Insectoid Aristocrat -
So much for going unnoticed, thought Sylph as he was approached by the annoying pale half-elf. "Nice bat. Where did you get it? I've seen someone use bats as spies before. Are you using it as a spy as well? Nice 'sleeping' act, by the way. Too bad I can see through it, otherwise it would be perfect." Dak spat at him as he lifted his head to properly address his inquisitor. Sylph lifted his gloved hand in preparation to speak, but just as he was about to start, Dak turned and sauntered towards the library, leaving Sylph confused. "What a strange, impatient being." he mumbled when he was sure that the half-elf was out of earshot. He was sure that the rogue would find out what he said anyway. Sylph returned to his sleep-like trance, confident that the rogue was just a rogue, and could not have noticed the magical ties between Sylph and the bat, nor could he read Sylph's thoughts. Sylph was more intrigued by De'kra anyway. What was the mysterious little fellow?

Monster Fighters 2012
Dannylonglegs replied to Darth Nihilus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Oh.... My.... Batpeople. I'm in love. I don't care how much it costs, I NEED those batpeople. This theme is stunning! This caught me totally unawares! I thought they were through with Horror as a theme since the studios sets. Wow! So many new and useful minifigures! This is great! I cannot wait to get my claws on these sets! Did I mention BATPEOPLE!? Maybe this means we'll see Batman's nemesis, Manbat, in another Batman wave too, but that's besides the point. This theme looks very promising. ~Insectoid Aristocrat -
Sylph saw through the weak eyes of his bat that a pale half-elf had somehow figured out that he was listening to him talk with the shade, and glared at the back of Sylph's helmet. That was annoying Sylph thought to himself silently. He guarded his thoughts on the off chance the half-elf was more than the rogue he let on to be. It was most likely that the rogue noticed a familiar when he saw one and had connected him and Sylph. Sylph decided that as fun as it would be to continue pestering the weak elf spawn, he didn't need to make any enemies among the heroes...yet. Sylph directed his bat to another side of the relatively quiet hall and hoped that the rogue would notice and calm down.

Sylph leaned further into the bar, his eyes closed. Those who saw him would have thought him asleep. No empty glasses encircled his head, no one sat beside him. He was not asleep, but rather, vicariously listening to the conversations of others through his lively bat who swooped overhead. He was currently keenly eavesdropping on the discussion unfolding between the shade and those around him. Sylph tried to remember the war. Thoughts were blurry, as thoughts from lives past. Still the persistent image was of a lighting struck tree in a dark forest. He could hear the screams of orcs and beasts of nature and humans all silenced. He could remember the silence. He smiled beneath his cold metal mask.

Sylph noticed Boomingham as he was biding his farewells. "So nice of you to think of me," Sylph hissed pleasantly. "So you want twenty gold?" "That's the idea, yes. If it's not an imposition of course." "It is not." Said Sylph, and reached into his sack, retrieving 20 gold pieces. "Here you are. Good luck on your quest, and when you have a chance to repay me, do tell me what it was for. Au revoir."

Now in the hall again, Sylph looked around. He noticed much change, and many new faces. He let his pet bat drop, like a shadow, from it's nook in his cape. The thing or darkness found a new roost in the rafters above and began taking in information with its powerful ears. Sylph looked for familiar faces, and got in just in time to see Boomingham and Marvello form a new team. Before doing anything else, Sylph signed up for Quests 21.

Heroica RPG - Quest #8 Sacred Sands
Dannylonglegs replied to Capt.JohnPaul's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Ahhh. I do enjoy so the acquisition of material possessions." sighed Sylph as he dropped his well earned gold into a sack. "I must apologize for my recent silence. the voice in the back of my head has been busy planning for future events, trials, tests. But now he's back, and I'm more powerful than ever..." Sylph said, somewhat confusing his team mates, an causing Boomingham to glare at him in a burning, questioning manner. "I must thank you all for accompanying me, and for letting me lead you. The experience was a good one. I learned much. I must especially thank you Boomer, for remaining participatory throughout, and letting your personality and curiosity drive you and for carrying more than your fair share of the weight. You too Nyx, for never going quiet. Once again, you proven yourself as a genius and worthy adversary to your strongest opponents. And you as well Marvelo riddle and Barur, for never giving up despite the vastness of the desert. All of these exemplary traits have been noted. I don't forget things, and I shan't forget you lot. You have enabled the growth of my power, and for that, I am grateful. I hope we shall all meet again, under similar circumstances soon." With that, the somewhat enigmatic Sylph, began to head towards the hall. "One more thing." blurted Boomingham with a challenging look on his face. Sylph turned around, saying nothing. Boomingham asked dramatically, "What's under that mask." Sylph looked at him, and, had anyone been capable of seeing, would likely have been smiling smugly. "All in good time Boomer. One day. You'll see." -
