Heroica RPG - Quest#25: Imbuing the Sword
Dannylonglegs replied to Bricksandparts's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Alternatively, we could each buy one item. Buying groceries should not be this hard. We have the shopping list, collectively, we have the money. Let's just re-pool those 150 gp that we just got and buy the things." -
Well, I just got a clue. I looked at the forth pool to see if it did indeed point to Diana, and I found a strand of grey hair. So, now I'm pretty sure that she was lying or misinformed about the "reddish brown" hair.

I agree with this notion of "conversion", and I'm glad that my loving husband has not been implicated by any of these clues. Therefore, my trust vote goes to him. Vote: William Falcon (Whitefang)

ASK HERE How to clean your LEGO sets/parts?
Dannylonglegs replied to jngunsw's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Ha, don't worry, I didn't punish my idiot cat. Interesting tip with the vinegar. Does vinegar effect legos? Oh, and I meant to say cloths-washer, thanks for catching me. ~Insectoid Aristocrat -
ASK HERE How to clean your LEGO sets/parts?

Brilliant! Thanks for your advice! So, with the dishwasher, will the bricks rub up against eachother and get scratched up? Many of my older lego pices have lost their luster due to scratches (which is sad). Also, I should take minifigures and printed peices and stickered pieces and clean them seperately? ~Insectoid Aristocrat -
ASK HERE How to clean your LEGO sets/parts?
Dannylonglegs replied to jngunsw's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I have been preparing to move for about a year now, and will probably this summer, so my lego collection is kindof in a state of limbo. Many half built creations and random bricks covered the floor of my designated 'lego room.' Having had a dificult school year in the begining of the year, I avoided the mess like a plague. However, it turns out, In my absence, another denizen of my abode made use of my prized room: my cat. He made it his personal litter box (even though he had one that I cleaned very frequently) and when I returned to my kingdom a month ago, I bore witness to a disgusting site! Cat pee crystalized on my flawless lego bricks, dry poop on my boxes, I was revulted by the noxious smell of amonia. Now I have piled my lego pieces that were affected into a large plastic bin, and intend to clean them, but I'm not sure where to start. Do any of you know a safe method of removing cat pee from legos? I heard amonia actually helps remove cat pee from things, but I don't know if it would stain my prized collection. If any of you have experience with this kind of atrocity, and are willing to share advice, I'd love to hear it. Thank you all! ~Insectoid Aristocrat -

"Sorry I'm late." grumbled Sylph OOC; my stats seem in order. -
"Challenge: begin"

Noting Boomingham's boisterous entrance, the shadowy figure--Sylph--slid to his feet. Sylph slithered toward his former companion, with open arms, his wispy cloak coalescing behind him. "How now," proclaimed Sylph in a voice than seemed pleased and properly merry, but carried the faintest whiff of darkness, "This is indeed an occasion." Sylph paced around him whistling a happy-birthday tune in minor. "I hate to mar an occasion such as this with a demand, but I seem to recall you owe me a few coins. Would you like me to refill your drink?"

Ha, I heard of xe just today, when I too looked it up! I think I'll continue using male pronouns as xe is a bit too fringe. If it ain't baroque, don't fix it! (also, spelling correct marks them as wrong! ) ~Insectoid Aristocrat

I always use masculine pronouns to describe Sylph Solanum. Partly because people perceive the mysterious figure as masculine (his voice is deep enough to be considered low for a female, should he turn out to be one.) His build is slender, so he could be a lanky man, or a tomboyish woman. I myself am a man, therefore, using masculine pronouns is more familiar. Mostly, I use masculine pronouns because the English language does not posses a gender neutral pronoun that can be used non-awkwardly to describe a human... should he turn out to be one. I chose Matt Smith, not because my character is necessarily a man or even human, but rather, because I like the seriousness/darkness he can bring to the whimsical Doctor. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

I thought the same thing! Jeff Bridges works too! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

I meant characters. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Ooh, Interesting question, I often think about how my character's voice sounds, since his gender is still not evident. The body doesn't really matter so much because it wouldn't be revealed (not until near the end atleast.) but the voice might be a give away. Another problem is how un-funny my character is. I don't know very many acters who are generally serious enough to portray my character without ending up like an "action" film actor. I think I'd like Matt Smith to be the actor, as, although in portraying the doctor he is whimsical and fun, he always has a dark seriousness to him. Also, I don't know too many actors. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

From the shadows in the forgotten corner of the hall, a dark shape moved. Dust permeated the air and languidly sank to floor, slipping off a tired black cloth. The form unfolded, a dull metal helmet was born from the folds of its black flowing cloak. The head twisted to survey the poorly lit room. A woolen leather winged bat dove from it's perch, penetrating the dark fabric composing the figure. He stretched prodigiously. If anyone were to have seen the display, surely they would not have remembered Sylph Solanum. The place looked different to Sylph's eyes, which looked darker than before. Sylph wandered towards the list of quests and descended upon it. There was one quest displayed, calling for an advanced hero. "good." he groaned, the first word he formed with his mouth for a long time. He brought his gloved hand to the paper and signed his name on Quest 25. "I've been asleep for too long. The word has advanced around me." Suddenly, a thought crossed his archaic mind. He looked around as if tasting the air. "Good, there are no more Druids, I still have time." Contented, he returned to his dusty den.

Red Moon 2: Chapter Four
Dannylonglegs replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Oh, finally, someone thought of revealing a clue. My opinion is that the blood is somehow related to the deceased in our group, and I seem to remember that both Stanton Sexton and Sandy Sanders wore dark blue. Unfortunately my theory does not account for the black fabric, as I don't recall anyone wearing black pants, but maybe a shirt? Hector wore a black shirt. -

I could have sworn the hose was for that nasty blood. Yuck! What is that stuff!? It has to be real; the hallucination told us that the evil one among us can't make illusions anymore. I'm purplexed. Anyways, Challenge Begin -

Don't worry, I'm drying off. If I was feeling more chipper, I'd make a joke about wet shirts. Don't be so hard on Diesel. I'm sure DJ saw something in him.
