  1. I assume she must be referencing what I said in thread yesterday, but as I pointed out, I believe she may be misremembering. I did make it a point to suggest I had no lunch, but I never actually denied it. I played like I didn't exactly know what they were so as to conceal the fact that I had one myself. Also I didn't talk with her or anyone the entirety of day one, so I'd be rather surprised if she heard that from me in private.
  2. "Excellent." grinned Sylph. "It's about time that Guardian got what's coming to him though." Order (If everyone agrees): Punii: Make Jellies Sylph: Cast Fragile on Guardian, BR Sylph: Cast Fragile on Guardian, BR or Cast Seal on Guardian, BR (If Guardian was successfully Fragiled) Lycan: Art, FR Lycan: Psych, FR Elgar: Nutcase, BR, Opal Spell Galen: Nurse, FR Johon: Bomber, FR Alex: Guardian, FR
  3. Well, I think you're right in that I may have insinuated it, but I don't think I ever flat out said I didn't have a lunch.
  4. I don't know if I said that directly, but it's not true. I was unsure yesterday how important Lunches would be so I tried to keep mine secret. From what I can tell, Daisy's analysis checks out quite nicely.
  5. Well, there's just plain dark bley from the tail end of SP3. All the "commandos" had it. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  6. Well, we'd be waiting a very long time I think, as last time it only happened near the end of voting.
  7. It could be that the lunch thief is a lunch itself, like Jimmy's was apparently, and the lunches stolen were because of the use of lunches.
  8. My un-vote stopped the day from concluding earlier, I think. Also, I don't think God said that we had to have faces and names on our holy name-tags before the day ended, but rather before the end of voting, which should technically have happened. I think.
  9. Well, I won't discount the possibility that there is a Day-killer, but I highly doubt it. As a famous Horse once said, the simplest answer is often the right one. I'm not quite sure why you think that there's a day killer, and I'll explain why I doubt it clearly. A. I don't see any evidence. I think you may be referring to Zara's death yesterday as evidence, right? I think that was a death enacted by God's will after she neglected to put a picture of her face and her name on her holy name-tag by the end if voting as god told her to. B. I see no precedent for a scum day-killer (or a day-vig for that matter) from previous experiences in the stables. Furthermore, such an action would seem unbalanced unless other night actions designed to stop and identify the scum also occurred during the day, which would be strange, but I guess possible. It is possible that someone's lunch could kill during the day, but again, I'd be surprised. The lunches don't sound that powerful. C. There are three more likely actions, those being; conversion, blockage, and protection. These are simple, common actions (Unfortunately so with the first. It usually just leads to trouble.) and are therefore more likely than a day-killer. Ooops, I almost forgot: D. Zara would be a dumb target for the scum: she was non-participatory and not as likely to be meta-killed.
  10. Well, the way I see it is of the three most likely (and probably only) things that could have gone down last night, conversion is somewhat unlikely because of the timing. As you yourself suggest, no one had a particularly strong influence on the Town yesterday, and therefore, there wasn't much of a point to a conversion. A successful block is also unlikely, as the role is essentially a shot in the dark. (or rather the prevention of one.) If the blocker doesn't block the killer then there's a night kill. A protection seems to be the most likely by far. Night one kills are usually meta. By that logic, so too should Night one protections be. If the protector accurately guesses the most likely target (the best meta target who would be least likely to be protected), then the kill is foiled. At-least that's what I figure. Also, I'd like to congratulate myself on successfully surviving day one without dying!
  11. How does a scum day-killer make more sense than a successful night-prevention or some form of conversion? When has there ever been a scum day-killer? I'd be pretty surprised if that were the case. Well that's interesting. I wonder if that was by a Scum role or a Town role? Thievery sounds scummy, but if the scum have lunches too it could be a useful role for the Town as well.
  12. Wow, I just blinked after composing a response in my head. Boy do I feel foolish now. Honestly, I'm not surprised about either of these revelations. What happened yesterday was ridiculous! I'm quite annoyed that she didn't clarify what was going on earlier. She had sooo many opportunities to avoid that chaos, but that's besides the point. After she explained to me in certain terms her role, I was convinced she was a Townie. (Which apparently she failed to do for Oscar and anyone else with whom she was in contact.) I should have fought for her to not get lynched more than I did, but A. I had no alternative, aside from a loose argument, based on what was possibly a mistake. and B. If she was still here now, her confusion would be almost as great a threat to us as the scum. Trisha aside, Zara I also figured would be Town. No self respecting (or otherwise) scum team lets a member get killed by God. I am somewhat surprised there was no night kill though. This probably means protection, but it could also mean the killer was blocked, or that there was a conversion though, which would stink.
  13. I probably will if I get enough kudos from Shadeaux. I've already established his hatred of the undead in a Hall conversation with Endgame's Sorrow. (Amusingly, he also despises Proggs for much the same reason. Maybe he just doesn't like Endgame. ) so Necromancer wouldn't work. Alchemist might character-wise, but I'm not sure. That one seems most likely aside from Dragoon at the moment. I don't think Chi-monk would fit his character. Plus he hates machines and therefore, Ji-Pei. I also don't think he'd make a particularly good Bombardier. I could work Minstrel and I love, love, love the class, but I don't know how I could do both Dragoon and Minstrel. Beast-warrior sounds like it would fit, but depending on what he is under the mask, it might not make sense character-wise. (It probably wouldn't) (plus, as part of his facade, he likes to keep his image mostly legal.) ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  14. Sylph would be interested. That sounds very up his ally. I initially thought that Dragoon would be a good class for him because I liked it, but it would be really out of character for him to do it as he has no real ties to the Shadeaux, apart from their mutual appreciation of bats. So, at the moment, Sylph is waiting for Prophet.... I'm doubly interested if the plague-bringer can heal allies. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

  16. I'm conflicted as far as that goes. First, I am happy to see that colour on anything other than a minifigure. However, I am don't love the colour on white in comparison to the other colours. It looks less... vibrant. I think the regular blue would have been a better choice. That way we'd have a new colour from the helmets too . As for the other colours, I agree with you fully on the green. If only I liked that set as much as I like the colour scheme. (I do like it more than I did before, but the mech is still stinking it up for me.) I also love how well the more pastel green contrasts with the bright lime and earthy olive of the aliens... and you couldn't ask for a better contrast than green on red. I sort of wish the whole theme was green. (although, I prefer it as is because of the multitude of new colours for that helmet! Must. Collect. Them. All.) After green, red is my favorite. Red contrasts so well with the lime and olive of the bad guys and also just looks cool. I think Blue goes after Green for me though. Orange reminds me allot of MM. While I did not hate MM like some other memvbers do, I got tired of that colour-scheme rather quickly. Also, blue's such a nice colour. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  17. Yay! I might even stay up for that! (That's about 12:30 where I live). ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  18. You put me to shame. And you did the meme right to-boot! I'd make it my avatar, but I need mah horsey for now. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  19. He's actually a pretty cool fig, and red's a great colour for that helmet. It's a shame he's in such a mediocre set. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  20. "Keep your pants on Galen, we've got a ways to go yet." mumbled Sylph as he healed Lycan.
  21. I think could have worked for the Rally too! Huh, maybe it would distract the other proggs long enough for us to kill them all. I just hope we don't all get the *confused* modifier ourselves. Wait, what am I saying! Yuck! As for a theme-song, I really don't know, so I'll default on one of my favorite songs that has the dark sound and serious tone I want for . This played in the backgroud while he's snarking somewhat changes the nature of their snarkiness.~Insectoid Aristocrat
