  1. "We can smell you has foodsssss. You want to eat those Silent Big Shadows all by your selfssss, doesn't you?! They smell of sweet death and salty bloodssss. Please gives us some. Anything to Nibble... To Gnaw.... Gnash... Bite... Chew... Swallow.... Gorge on.... Fatten... Stuff... Satiate the hunger...."
  2. Flare, your revenge against Endgame should simply have been to turn him into a frog. It would have fit with the Quest and everything!!! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  3. OoC: Curses, foiled again! I'll be quicker with the Battle order then. "That doesn't mean they can't be killed." Stated Sylph. "I find it amusing you consider yourself an animal." "I know you do, but that's not enough, and unlike the rest of us, you can regain ether without using potions." Order: Punii: Mix Jellies Aquos: Rhodus, BR Galen: Eidolon, BR Johon: Eidolon, BR Elgar: Eidolon, BR Hal: Eidolon, BR Sylph: heal Rome, BR Sylph: Heal Rome, BR (or drink potion, BR) Rome: Eidolon, BR Alex: Regret, BR
  4. I think the poor girl's had enough baleful polymorph for one day. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  5. The scurrying creatures within the crate (and elsewhere) heard Nessa's suggestion. "Bonesssss is only good for the marrow, Foodsss. Flesh is what we wants. Flesh Food of the barking things that eat the catssss, or of the clucking things with the nasty fuzzy things on them, or of the things big shadow noises gets on to go fastsss.... Or Big Shadow Noise Flesh... Yes, big shadow noises has fleshy flesh foodsss. Even the black ones covered in the nasty fuzzy things (feathers) that don't fall has flesh food. Goood flesh foodssss." He can judge that the road is about 3 and a half meters across. He could normally jump it easily, but with the pouring rain and the structural insecurity of the buildings across from him, there was about a 50-50 chance he would fall and hurt himself. From his vantage, he could see smoke rising from several parts of the city. The riots were getting ugly. Amorith seems to recal a spell that would produce a bridge for 4 ether. Amorith Marvelo (Played by legobodgers) Level 14 Mage Power: 22 (14+8+1) Health: 17/18 Ether: 8/18 SP: 6 Gold: 5 Equipment: Dual staff (WP: 8) damages 2 enemies in one hit, Crow-Cursed Cloak (SP: 6 Suitable for Mages or Rogues) Inventory: Fang Dagger (WP: 5), opal (ice), ruby (fire), garnet (earth), diamond (light), amethyst (darkness), 5 potions, 8 tonics, 4 remedies, 1 elixir, 3 nostrums, 3 mead, ice bomb, smoke bomb, shovel, bedroll, 4 bones, jo-no tree seed, Scroll of Blindness, Fire Bomb, Phoenix Essence
  6. Dreyrugr Climbed up the ledges and in one swift motion, propelled himself onto the treacherous rooftops. The slick tiles on the roof couldn't provide him very much support, and he very nearly fell, grasping onto the wooden wall just in time. After he pulled himself back up, he was able to crouch atop the wall and get a relatively good look at his surroundings.
  7. Punii? ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  8. You're totally right, Flipz. Thanks! This is a great criticism, and that may actually be why the plot is confusing some. Note to self: Provide an all-inclusive summary of important plot points and NPCs for the players and spectators once they get out of the Maze. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  9. Amorith, in agreement with Dreyrugr, cast a spell that produced small ledges in the surface of the building with his garnet. The ledges creaked and crumbled into existence. The task, while not necessarily hard, expended ether roughly each two ledges, leaving Amorith with only 3 points of ether. Amorith Marvelo (Played by legobodgers) Level 14 Mage Power: 22 (14+8+1) Health: 17/18 Ether: 3/18 SP: 6 Gold: 5 Equipment: Dual staff (WP: 8) damages 2 enemies in one hit, Crow-Cursed Cloak (SP: 6 Suitable for Mages or Rogues) Inventory: Fang Dagger (WP: 5), opal (ice), ruby (fire), garnet (earth), diamond (light), amethyst (darkness), 5 potions, 9 tonics, 4 remedies, 1 elixir, 3 nostrums, 3 mead, ice bomb, smoke bomb, shovel, bedroll, 4 bones, jo-no tree seed, Scroll of Blindness, Fire Bomb, Phoenix Essence
  10. "Good. You're ready to surrender, then, I take it?" grunted Sylph. Order: Punii: Mix Jellies Sylph: Tonic, BR Sylph: Heal Elgar, BR Aquos: Rhodus, BR Galen: Eidolon, BR Johon: Eidolon, BR Rome: Eidolon, BR Elgar: Rhodus, BR (or take a potion, BR if unhealed.) Hal: Rhodus, BR Alex: Regret, BR If we luck-out and nothing particularly bad happens this round, you can auto-roll one (or two) with similar order. Keep in mind that my objective is to keep myself and Alex alive (at almost any cost), and to allow Aquos to regain some ether with his Miss roll. I'll heal anyone in dire need of healing (focusing on Alex and myself), and Alex will continue to beat-up the regret. If a Spirit is summoned, it doesn't matter which type anymore, but it should be stuck on Aquos INSTEAD OF Alex. Alex can then take-on Rhodus, or give Elgar a grand tonic. Stop if anything group devastating occurs, or if Aquos Misses.
  11. Oooh! Yay! I'm glad you liked them! They're favorites of mine too... which is why I simply couldn't let them die. As far as pieces go, they're basically 2 Razcals with a cloak for one and any dagger for the other! (and, yes, I realize that the plot has confused many at this point. And here I was thinking it was too simple. ) ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  12. It was about 20 feet (6 meters) tall, going up to the roofs of the shoddily-built buildings it went between. It looked difficult to climb, but not impossible. It would take time though.
  13. Well, In Karie's defense, all you've had to eat today was whatever you picked up on the ship in the morning. Drake had a couple ales. Dreyrugr might have eaten... You guys must be starving. I don't blame you for contemplating a little ratatouille. (Best not to, though. They're not the healthiest bunch.) ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  14. wonders if female newts are newtesses, or if newt is gender-newtral.

  15. enjoys funny typos.

  16. Yes, that is indeed an unsettling amount of eats... Does Karie have the munchies? Is she feeling alright? ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  17. OoC: Ooh! Glad to have helped. "Foodss! Big Shadow Noise can hear us? The Fear! Foodssssss! Fear! Fear the Big Shadow Noise!!! It makes us foodsss with its catssss and its trapsss and its poisonssssss... Why does it come here, Big Shadow Noise? Big Shadow Noise is not our friendsssss." The voice sounded like a legion of grating clawing children, and was more than a little unsettling. It was directing its comments at Nessa, but it was difficult to tell from the rampant grammatical mistakes. Nessa could feel the voice's (or was it more than one voice at once?) primal hunger. It was fixated on Food. The other party members only heard silent squeaks, indistinguishable from the noise of the rain hitting the roofs and stone around them. OoC: On a scale of 1 (Great) to 5 (Hostile), I'd say the Rats's friendliness towards the Party is at about 4. This can be improved or decreased.
  18. Nessa searched the refuse, but found nothing of note, some broken chain, rotten wood, a few un-used stones, an excess of rat droppings.... Until she peered into the crate. Her glance was greeted by a thousand beady red eyes... She could understand their whispers, but no one else in the party could even hear them. "Foodss." they clamored, the gnawing, gnashing rat voices. "Foodssssssss." Karie examined the wall. Wall Level 0 Type: Plant HP: 200 Special: A Piece of fallen wood crashes onto the target, dealing 5 damage and stunning him/her, taking 30 damage itself. Drops: Nothing. It's a wall.
  19. If you're considering adding other people's NPCs, I wouldn't mind at-all seeing Dice and Yoro, the travelling Merchants, feature in other peoples' Quests. They've basically played their part in this Quest, and have likely fled town by now (or, technically, they're probably picking their stuff up from whatever Inn they were lodging in.) The Po Brothers are for hire too! They may just take up residence in Eubric after fleeing Brendenton. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  20. These are all valid options, but not the only actions you can make. Poor rats. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  21. I'd like to apologize to you, 62ers. There was supposed to be a clue in what I've been saying, but I didn't execute it correctly, and it would have lead you down the wrong path if you'd found it. I have since fixed the initial options to reflect the proper clue. Sorry for my incompetence. You didn't catch it though, but I've made it a bit more obvious now too. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  22. A Deadend!!! The party raced down the street, only to encounter a thick wooden wall in-between two buildings. an assortment of trash lay strewn about, and the party could hear the scampering of millions of tiny feet around the litter. What would the Party do??? Having come to the end of C., they had yet to explore paths A, and B.
  23. Ah, Ok. I'll send you down C. in three hours (I have class right now. Sorry. ) The Party Chose to take the Left-most Path. They ran down it and found.....
