  1. My word! It looks exactly like I remember it, only more Legoy. Beautiful job! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  2. Wow, allot has happened. Tristan's one of the few I see as being consistantly active in the scum-hunt, and I'm plesantly surprised to hear that he's been in contact with a role-cop. I'm not pleased to hear that Kristel was our vig. That makes two dead PRs if everyone is to be believed. I'm inclined to believe that Tristan is not lying, but it remains to be seen whether his Rolecop is lying or not. I'm also not too trusting to exclude the possibility that this whole thing could be a scum gambit, but the thought strikes me as a bit far fetched at this point in the game of life. Scum gambits are usually reserved for the last day, and unless I'm horribly wrong about something, we should still have a few more to go. If Kenneth really is the SK (I suggest that this get's confirmed somehow), then we'd need to lynch him eventually. Now that we know his identity (again, if it is him) he has no more real incentive to work with us, considering that we'd need him gone, and therefore he's a threat to us. All that said, I'm not ready to Lynch Kenneth yet. I think the possibility that we could be wrong about him is too high, and we really can't afford to lose another Townie. I'm sticking with my vote for Michael. He's come on and seemingly tried to help, but he's been on the chopboard each day, only to avoid the Lynch. Even today, for all the support his vote seemingly has, not even half of the Town has voted for him. All this coupled with all of his fluffy posts and strange behavior, leads me to believe he is scum. Actions speak louder than words in this case.
  3. Plots of land...

  4. If there has to be a change, ChromeKnight's suggestion is my favorite. I still think that it can be made sensical to find gold while attacking other things, as I've said multiple times earlier. Dragons have gold embeded in their scales from their loot, Sharks with friggin' magic-lazers on their heads ate a treasure chest, the Briggand had a secret pocket of gold hidden away on his person... The whole point is that Rogues find money where others simply wouldn't, whether that means money not listed as loot due to being hidden somewhere no one else would look/find it (from gold-dropping opponents) or money no one else saw hidden carefully in the crook of a tree or on the bones of the monster's previous victems (non gold-dropping/sentient opponents). The money they get is seperate from loot to begin with and shouldn't in most cases be considered to come from exactly the same place as the loot money, or else in-character players would call foul. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  5. "Huh. One new sign-up and 2 gone. What's the matter with these heroes?" Mumbled a hooded Hinckwell employee as he updated the list. Current Sign-Ups for Quest 76 Alaxandre le Chevalier Drake Flamerobe (xxlRocka) Sir Brickington (Brickington) Alaxandre le Chevalier (Capt.JohnPaul) Sarge (Pyrovisionary) William (Fred Daniel Yam) Jeaux (Joeshmoe554) If I missed anyone, please tell me. I'll close sign-ups later tonight, I suppose, and Launch the Quest either then or Tomorrow depending on how insane my evening is. I'll assume that by signing up for the Quest that you want to go on it. I have no problem with intermittent check-ups... Especially considering how hectic my own life is.
  6. Sylph stood behind the group, looking around silently. Waiting.
  7. Well there goes my "Main Suspicion." I didn't read the first post very carefully. I was busy doing pig stuff. That changes everything for me. Since Connie was my lead suspect for today and the poisoner killed her, I can't say I'm quite as ready to Lynch the poisoner. I'm still leaning on it being the SK (if there is no SK, then why is there the option for an Independent in the rules section? We clearly haven't caught said Independent, and what other role would an independent fill?) and the MO is still not reading vig for me. That said though, if the SK is dealing with our secondary suspects like a vig, we could probably afford to keep it around a little longer. Wow, that was surprisingly helpful. I like that you've grouped your suspects into fitting teams... I gotta say, I'm a little envious of the time that likely took you. Like Liz, I'm not ready to agree with you wholeheartedly, but I think this is a step in the right direction. I'm still suspicious of Boris and Michael, and to avoid a repeat of yesterday's fiasco, I'll vote now. Vote: Micheal (Mencot). I've been suspicious of him since day one, but he's still around and hasn't gotten any more helpful. I should have some free time soonish to really go over my thoughts on the matter, but for now, my vote stands as it is.
  8. Is about to host a quest that literally features sheep wrangling.

  9. Is about to host a quest that literally features sheep wrangling.

  10. It's hilarious that you say that because It sounds like Karie would genuinely enjoy 76. No Fleur, no fires, not too much intrigue/betrayal. Just allot of Sheep, fields, forests and villages. And maybe a few hundred wolves. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  11. Oh, the Regret's going to be there? How delightful. Sylph may find his way onto the Quest... Maybe... ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  12. You say that because you weren't on 48. When they meet again, if Fleur recognizes Karie, Fleur will shake her hand and thank her for showing her the light, and proving her philosophy correct. No hard-feelings whatsoever for burning half her score. Revenge is a suckers' game. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  13. Really? REALLY? I know that musical by heart. I adore the Phantom of the Opera! How have you not seen so many great things?! It's like you spend all of your time in a forum playing an online RPG. Or a dentist's office. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  14. True, but She's one of the more "normal" characters, being a fun-loving relatable person. She's not a badass mercenary who's killed before and drops badass one-liners before offing the big bad, and she's not a depressed, sulking woobie who wears a hood and drinks her troubles away. She's just a silly, realistic girl in a really mad world. It actually makes sense that you can't see Masson's clearly obsessive behavior for what it could be. I think you did. It's a nice turnabout though. Very fitting. Given that Karie's overcome her antagonistic relationship with the Stealer, and has seemingly developed a desire to fix-up Eubric, I can't wait to see how she interacts with Fleur, an obsessed cynical woman who wants to metaphorically burn everything down to sell the ashes and turn a profit, when they meet again. 76 has nothing to do with her, but Karie might want to get on the quest after it (although, I don't think that will be Fleur's demise.) ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  15. I just don't think that the rogue special is broken, or that any of the suggested nerfs keep it powerful enough. And I feel the same about the gloves. Maybe I just don't have a practical grasp on the economics-mechanic though. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  16. I love your characters. I wonder what will happen if he and Karie break up. I could see him becoming Phantom-of-the-Opera-esque. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  17. Meh. I like it the way it is. ~Team keep it the way it is! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  18. Sylph's married... to the job. See, I know he's not supposed to be, but I get the feeling that the Masson is quite mentally ill. He's somewhere between 20-30 years old, never had a girl-friend despite not being asexual seemingly, obsessing over Karie after briefly meeting twice and contemplating giving up his obsessive grand plan for said "Love." and ultimately completely willing to mind-rape countless individuals in order to create his idea of a perfect world, creating a "cult" around himself and his method and plan... I know Sylph's has his fair share of "Well intention extremist"-isms, but I don't condone his methods. I think If I was playing a normal character (one who I personally can relate to more), and I encountered the Stealer, I'd call him out on this. If Sylph encountered the Stealer, he probably wouldn't have said much. Hey! This is the second time in a row this has happened to Karie! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  19. "No, no. Animals break down into coal too." Stated Sylph knowingly, equally disinterested. He stood away from the group, waiting for the people to finish their transactions.
  20. First Beatrice, now the Stealer? Endgame is a match-maker!

    1. Endgame

      Endgame

      They're both purple, too.

  21. Ok, I was catonic most of yesterday. My mother's death and the moving it resulted in really put me out. (I'm living in the pigpen now) Sorry. That said, really? You voted Beatrice off? I suppose my frustration stems more from not being a part of the vote, and less from the fact that Beatrice turned up town, but Beatrice always acts that way. She's what might be called a "Lurker." I didn't find anything unusual about how Beatrice was acting and I'm surprised that the "vote off for lurking." beat "vote off for suspicious behavor." yesterday. I think it could be possible that Beatrice was Lynched in order to save Connie from being Lynched. Considering the slow climb her bandwagon endured, followed by the very quick, last-minute switch to Beatrice, I'm actually quite convinced in this. Unless a better suspect or reasoning comes to light, Connie will be my main candidate for the lynch today. Other than that, some of Boris's statements have raised my suspicions... as did his vote-unvote from yesterday. I'm also still suspicious of Michael. I know the feeling. Aye.
  22. "Do you know what diamonds are?" Questioned Sylph, annoyed, but calm. "They're dead animals and plants compressed over millions of years in extreme pressure and heat. One day those claws you handed over, and your body in the ground, will rot and decay and become soil which will grow plants that will die and fall beneath the earth in layers of life and death and form rock, which may one day form coal, which may one day experience the proper pressure necessary to transform that rock into a shiny near-see-through rock like the one you're ogeling right now... But I have my doubts man-kind will see that rock." Sylph turned to the woman. "Could I have the daimond for 50 gold, please? My associate stated that he'd give me what I truely want if I'd buy him the daimond. I don't see why he couldn't simply buy it himself though."
  23. No, wait, he doesn't. (OoC: That's why I said 24 hours and not 6. ) Caught!
