  1. Thothwick's already in a relationship, and it may just be heteronormativity speaking, but I was under the impression that Thormanil didn't roll that way. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  2. Trade Intrigue and Newts.

    1. Kintobor

      Kintobor

There better be a newtist colony.

    2. Dannylonglegs

      Dannylonglegs

I think I'll have a one-off quest hosted by Newts where all the PCs have to shrink down to Newt size to protect the newtist colony by fighting off their sworn enemies, the "Conservative Lizards Opposed to Tail to Head Exposure in Society" (CLOTHES)

    3. Dannylonglegs

      Dannylonglegs

      I'll call it Trade-Off.

  3. To all interested in Shadeaux Reputation: While my current Quest does have a way to get some (it'll be obvious after the next battle), the Quest after my next (hopefully hosted in October or November) Will be a Shadeaux Quest, and deal somewhat with Karie's father, and his Company. As such, I've spoken to Kinto and he and I will be sort-of collaborating on it. It's almost as fleshed out in my head as the one I'm running now. Yay for Economics! It's funny how I didn't plan for all of my Quests to be Trade Intrigue Quests, but every one in the near future will at least touch on them in some way. I don't even like Economics IRL. I thought my Quests would have more to do with evil cults, Political Intrigue and other Dramatic nonsense. But then you 62ers let Fleur live. You just had to roll so poorly, didn't you. Well, I hope you're happy. Because of you, I have as many Trade Intrigue plans as there are phrases and expressions with the word Trade in them... And there are many of those. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  4. I am the Sand-Man! Sleep Tight!

  5. In fact, there are some advantages of Sleep. Namely it works as Blind and Seal. Get ready to meet the big bad wolf, mister Red. Sweet dreams... ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  6. "Big Red must sleep so that we can deal damage without worrying about him undoing it. We won't kill him fast enough, so let's save him for last. Gonzo should be sealed, since you, Monk, can't blind, and Gonzo steals our things. We could target him then instead of Big Red and kill him." Battle Order: > Pretzel: Seal Slug > Pretzel: Seal Slug (Or, if previous attempt succeeded: Seal Feladorin) > Erik v. Big Red > Dreyrugr: Bondy >Nessa v. High Elf > Sylph-Sleep: Big Red Leave: Slug, Little Red, Difur
  7. Well, I was sort of hoping Big Red would count as "Not Standing." if he was put asleep, but you're right for the most part. Feladorin should still be fragile. Disenchantment removes positive effects. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  8. Well, there aren't any Minstrels yet. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  9. Ooh! I'll put my minds to that tomorrow. Let the Sunshine in is a Great one for that! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  10. For the purposes of Little Red's Luck, does Big Red count as standing while he's asleep.
  11. Good. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  12. I'm not sure if I said this before (I wasn't paying attention well before), but this battle is boss-level hard. What the hells. Party Members: check my Battle Orders to see if you like my plan. If not, I'll think up a new one. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  13. "Hm. What you saw before was merely a light shower. You're dressed for a drizzle. You should have prepared yourselves for the Deluge." Grunted Sylph. "Let's put these thugs to rest." Sylph turned and faced the Party. "Ok, my plan is simple: We disenchant them and put the to sleep one after the other so that we never invoke too many free-hits (which is what we did last time.) I wish I'd asked earlier, but Dreyrugr: I think now's as good as any time to use those Smelling Salts. Preferably on Pretzel. After this round, I'll try to make "Big Red" Sleep. Pretzel will Seal the Slug." Battle Order: > Dreyrugr: Smelling Salts Pretzel > Pretzel: Scroll of Disenchantment > Pretzel: Scroll of Disenchantment (Or, if previous attempt succeeded: Seal Slug) > Erik v. Big Red >Nessa v. High Elf > Sylph v. Bondy Leave: Slug, Little Red, Difur OoC: If Bond Villain is immune to all effects, how is he encouraged? Also, Does "Daddy" sleep standing up?
  14. OoC: Looks good to me. "Let's go."
  15. Nice! I've got my next two Quests as fleshed out in my head as the one I'm currently running. So many ideas! So many "Trade"s. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  16. Has two more Quests planned, following Trade Routes. Both have the word Trade in them.

I was considering it, but no. Well, *probably* no. Think Coffee.

"Trading Places" will likely be a later Quest revolving around Sundestian Politics.

  17. Well, maybe Stereotype wasn't the best word, and maybe I took the argument in a completely different route than your meaning. I still understand you though. I don't feel like we've lost anything, really. I don't really have a counter argument, I just don't feel like anything's changed overmuch. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  18. Sylph accepted the gold, keeping it all seperate so as to not confuse it with his own. This is probably the richest I'll ever be!

Grub B and D vs. William 13/2=7*2=14-14=0 The battle rages on, with William's protective powers radiating from him, drawing all the bugs towards him like june beetles towards a wall (Seriously. June Beetles are among the stupidest creatures I am aware of.) Arnulf hits, but once more, Alex fails to penetrate the beetle's thick carapace with his carapace penetrating sword. Go figure. 20. Druid came up in the conversation? Obligatory Druid praise. I see what you mean, which is a very well-thought-out point (as usual.) I Wouldn't say it's the Expert classes so much that lack the ability to be well-embodied, but rather the individuals who have acquired their access. Very few heroes have made it to the top, thusfar, and those that have are taking their Classes in their own direction. Whether that direction perfectly embodies the class or not. Also, whether someone embodies the class or not is also quite subjective. Alexis may transition into being more of a harlot as time goes on/ she stops fighting animals. ( ) but she may never really get to embody the class, which is alright. Althior may go the steriotypical 'ruler of the undead' route, or he may level out and use his evil powers for goodishness with a bit of evil angst. To sound like a total idiot, I think everyone's RPing their characters in reference to their class/ prospective class quite well. Also, what Endgame said. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  21. I know what it means. 1 70\/3 7331. 7331 15 |\/|4D |-|4XX0Rz. That said, I think it would fit a Sci-fi fig or a punk computor Hacker type better. It would have beet nice on the computer Nerd's mug for example. I know. That was one female corespondant that didn't have to be made... particularly since robots lack gender. Also, way too much make-up/sex indicators. I can't believe they're selling that to children. I too would have prefered a candy cane, or a candy cane coloured lightsaber piece. That might have made this figure worth buying for me. Maybe we'll see a candycane girl in a later series with the cane instead. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  22. Newts are amphibians too, you know. ;)

  23. You know, Newts are amphibians. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  24. On the subject of the Gods, I know that Some gods have their own classes, but which gods best fit which Cleric class? Class: Shaman: Centurus/Sem?, Tarok/Wartan, Nordic Gods, Helvetia?, Others? Paladin: Ennoc Sage: Etherith/Isiris, Fabula Sybylla?, Any Other God Druid: Sylvania Witch: Zoot/Azazot, Helvetia, Mother Danab, Mercutio, Others? ~Insectoid Aristocrat
