  1. We understand, a couple of small-scale scene shots would do. It just adds another level of presentation if there are pics and not just the creative words, you know what I mean. Looking forward for your next ones.
  2. Yep I agree with TheWarden, there are a lot of Steampunk creations here in EB as well as all over the net, just take the time to search for them. As for your design, I have to say the design is rather simple and basic, but I don't want to discourage you, that's a decent start and maybe you could find inspiration on other Steampunk creations.
  3. Is this the one? Maybe that's a sign we would be able to finally get her updated minifig this year, but probably not in the Battle of Naboo set since she wasn't wearing that outfit at that time when she was still queen. [posted by Penitent Tangent in the Missing Star Wars Characters topic]
  4. Nah, I don't think so, that V-Wing airspeeder is for the New Republic (New Republic Era - post-Battle-of-Endor), and not for the Empire (as the name Imperial dictates). The most plausible version would be the one posted by JamieDodger, a decently-sized ship for the price it's rumored (~USD25). If I remember right, Aurra was not in the Bounty Hunters episode in Season 2, only Sugi's gang. But yeah I agree it would be great to have more bounty hunters, which is becoming a trend based on the recent sets.
  5. Yep, that's very probable since we already have the Boskk fig, young Boba is easily makeable, but Aurra Sing might be the exclusive MF in this set (which will 'magnet' all of us to buy this set). I admire TLG's tactic of distributing the highly collectable bounty hunters in different sets (just like the way they did with the jedis), very clever indeed. Like what they've said, the list is still incomplete this early and OT-based sets can still be part of the 2011 first wave. Though I think us, LSW fans, should start accepting the possibility that less and less OT-based sets will come out in the future, and more and more will be based on CW just for the simple fact that more new characters, ships, and sets can be based on the current CW series. Don't get me wrong, OT and PT are great, but there will come a time that TLG would have covered almost everything in those movies and remakes are the only possibility (which we have a lot nowadays). Plus, maybe kids don't appreciate OT/PT stuff like the way we do AFOLs.
  6. I very much enjoyed reading your story on the history of Space Police. I am impressed with your way of words, you really have a talent in story-telling. Can't wait for your next chapters. (A few lego-based pics depicting some of the scenes would be great, if that's not much to ask for).
  7. Another nice little mini-ship Leo-J! I think I like this better than your other black ship (which is also good).
  8. Embo would make a nice new bounty hunter MF, if the bounty hunter ship is based on that episode. But considering these new bounty hunters (Sugi's band) are relatively less popular than Bane's gang, I would assume this bounty hunter gunship will be based on Bane's bounty hunter crew and we could have the more anticipated Aurra Sing fig, which is better than an Embo fig, IMO.
  9. Thanks for clearing up the info KimT, so it does look like the Clone Trooper BP will consist of three different troopers: a) Clone trooper - hopefully not the regular ones, it'd be better if it has a new helmet or specific function (like a clone gunner or clone pilot) b) ARF trooper - hopefully a new helmet mold and not a printed biker scout trooper helmet c) Bomb squad trooper - same as regular clones but with orange diamond marks. This new approach seems to be a good idea since you could have different types of clones you could build an army of, unlike the previous Clone BP which is just 3 x regular clone troopers + clone gunner + added accessories.
  10. Another impressive vig Kubik-Rubik! Hermione's sitting position is really very cleverly executed. I'm lovin' all your movie scene recreations, can't wait for your next one.
  11. Even if it was already done in brickform, I would still say this is a pretty good vig. I for one, have seen this in lego for the first time, and I think you did a pretty good job recreating this scene Kubik-Rubik. I love the details on the walls, and even the hanging stairs. Of course, the shot of MJ kissing Spidey is classic.
  12. If this will be the Mando BP, I'm pretty sure these will sell like hotcakes! Just imagine these guys in the new Boba Fett Helmet mold in dark blue/sand blue/dark bley color scheme, those'll be cool.
  13. Welcome to EB 'SB'! Just the perfect time to join now with the upcoming new wave of HP sets. Do enjoy the site.
  14. Welcome to Eurobricks Sir Jacob! Continue 'spreading the word of lego' to your students so me may 'multiply hundredfolds'. Enjoy the site.
  15. Yes, there is one, it could be found here, milady.
  16. I too, would be more than willing to pay the same price if we get one of each of these ARF troopers in the Clone Trooper BP (though highly unlikely)
  17. Me too, it's about time we get a new clone trooper variant. The ARF troopers have appeared already thrice in the CGI series (camouflaged type in the movie, Lightning Squadron-type in Season 1, and Geonosis-camo-type in Season 2) plus in Ep.III (Kashykk trooper). Though I think the most realistic one is the Lightning Squadron ARF Troopers since they have the same body armor as generic clones with custom printed white helmet, unlike the other two types which has complex camo prints. I would be happy to have this official ARF troopers for my Lightning Squadron.
  18. The T6 shuttle and the bounty hunter gunship are quite interesting sets, but if ever these sets are confirmed and finalized, I think we'll once again have these in less-than-what-it-should be sizes. The T6 shuttle is a pretty huge ship (specifically the wings), and I hope the cockpit will be able to seat 4 MFs, just like what we saw in the series. The bounty hunter gunship, if it's Halo, that's quite big for a set so it's highly unlikely; but if it's Bane's Slight of Hand, I think the realistic size should be like the RGS. EDIT: Nah, I think the the Slight of Hand is still too big for an RGS-size, it will still be undersized if ever TLG releases it.
  19. Pretty good dump truck Allos. I love how it is decently-sized unlike those massive trucks of the construction sets.
  20. Regarding ending the SW license: (I apologize if this is a bit off-topic, I just have to give my .02 in this issue) First, it's highly improbable as of the moment, considering the success of the on-going TCW series. Second, LSW, is the #1 source of revenue for TLG, IMO. TLG stands to lose a lot of $$$ and fans (kids and AFOLs like me) if ever they do end LSW. Third, I think it's a bit too selfish to ask to end one license just to give room for another. Can't other themes coexist with LSW? Why end LSW when you could just add the 'requested' Classic Space, right?
  21. Great-looking train station design Bachus. I'm not that familiar with the official one, but your MOC looks really mice. Can't wait to see it realized in brickform.
  22. Very good design, I think you pretty much captured the overall look of the real truck. Now we just need to see it in brickform and it'll be perfect!
  23. Very nice fitness vignettes Kubik-Rubik! I love the funny side of the vigs. I wanted to make a similar lego fitness gym before, and I think you really got the two basic elements, the stationary bike and treadmill, perfectly.
  24. Looking good, 100x improved from your first one with all the additional elements you've added. I agree with lightningtiger, now all we need to see is the brickbuild. I'm sure it'll look great.
  25. I'm quite impressed with your MOC Mariko, I think the small details (fish signage, duck, water details) and the action shots (boy making the sand castle, crab-bit man, the diver, beach treasure-hunter) make this a very good vignette. Good job!
