  1. Not really a review, but thanks for sharing this news Doc. It's nice to hear from the man behind these CubeDudes. The second set (bounty hunters) seems pretty promising and looks even better than the first one. Hope to see more SW cubedudes in the near future, and probably even in some other licensed themes as well.
  2. Nice minis gotoandLego, though I couldn't recognize the mods since I'm not that familiar with the original mini-versions. Good job nevertheless.
  3. Thanks LegoDad42. I've been wanting to do this review even though I don't have TLG's Aayla as of the moment. You should read through all the posts, very great points have been raised by the members. I'm actually a bit sursprised by the huge disparity of the results, considering TLG's Aayla had some criticisms when it was first released. With regards to the hands, as I've posted above:
  4. Oh my, what a wonderful creation, the details are just amazing. I ain't much of a Technic fan, but this looks like a masterpiece in the eyes of a regular lego fan. Absolutely fantastic job Sir Ralph!
  5. Blue hands - not that rare. Sand Blue Hands (for Arealight's Aayla) - does not exist (at least, according to BL). Medium Blue Hands (for TLG's Aayla) - rare, seen in Watto only as you said. And Yep, Aayla never did wear gloves (both in the movies and tv series). Maybe the lack of available sand blue/medium blue hands is the main reason why TLG went the easy way out and just used bley hands.
  6. WOW, This is very cool, I'm really lovin' this MOC! I love how you converted the boring farm set into the action-packed Dragon ball battle arena, which is much much better than its 'predecessor' IMO. I'm a huge of the whole DB saga, and I can attest that the temple/battle arena is very accurate> Seeing this diorama makes me reminisce the epic battles of Son Gokou and the rest of the gang in this arena. Very nice presentation too, with the manga as the backdrop. A couple of questions though: - Is that blue girl Chi-Chi or Chun-Li from Street Fighter? Anywho, I love how you customized her. - Are those red 2x2 tiles printed black on the sides? - And where is Gokou? Overall, I love this and great job Alan Boar!
  7. Wow, that's really something special. You are a talented craftsfan to create such fine woodwork, I salute you Sir! Job most impressive.
  8. Excellent creation, the train is impressive, but I have to agree the scenery with all those wonderful trees and action poses of the figs are even better. Great job on these SavaTheAggie!
  9. Haha! Nicely done Jameson42. His arms do look like feet in your MOC, pretty clever imagination you got there. I can't seem to imagine what Lotso's thinking with his creepy wide grin while lying in bed...
  10. I agree, the hands should've been blue, as Aayla never wore any gloves. I'm not so sure about the reason why TLG can't make such blue hands, maybe because the use so far is limited for the Aayla minifig only?
  11. Hi Agris, welcome aboard! Hope you enjoy the site.
  12. Welcome to Eurobricks FredSchlonz! Hope to see some of your MOCs here.
  13. Welcome to Eurobricks Cap! I'm pretty sure you're eagerly awaiting for the POTC release right? (based on your name). Enjoy the forums here.
  14. Great, I love this! Both exterior and interior are well-designed and well-executed. I like the masks shelf detail the best. Impressive work WetWired!
  15. Nice vignette, love those facial expressions of those poor held-up bank personnel. Good job Darkblane.
  16. Great to see the additional photos, now we could all marvel at the amazing details of this massice MOC. I really hope you do well in the contest, considering all the hardwork you've put in this creation. Best of luck!
  17. Wow, that's a great-looking ship you got there jansued! I have to disagree that it isn't ugly at all, the amazing amount of details are just awesome. Hope you do well in the contest Sir.
  18. Great mini-CIS ships Doc! I like the Droid Gunship and the Homing Spder Droids, the details are excellent for a mini scale. I'm just not so sure about the Dwarf Spider Droid, the legs are kinda long for the body. But then again, there aren't available parts that are suitable for the legs right?
  19. I knew it! I knew this day would come when AC will finally merge all his Theed creations into one massive diorama, and damn! That really looks fantabulous! I'm not gonna comment anymore on the individual details (since it has been already raised in the previous topics), but seeing them put together is really trully amazing. Impressive job as always AC! It's just a matter of time before this one gets frontpaged.
  20. All Boba Fett versions are good, but the latest one is the clearly the runaway winner in terms of details and accuracy. So the 2010 BF gets my vote.
  21. Even though I admit that TLG's Aayla has better details and accuracy, I had a change of heart and decided to vote for the Arealight version. In fairness to Arealight, he had the best-looking Aayla Secura MF design-wise and quality-wise among all the custom Aayla Securas around. And he released his version (and made available to the public) during a time when LSW fans were clamoring for a Twi-lek fig and it took TLG only this year to release their official version. For the simple fact that Arealight did service to us LSW fans by offering his Aayla (and other Twi'leks as well), he gets my vote from that point of view.
  22. I like your modest attempt on Saesee Tiin, how I (and we) really wish we'll see him as a lego MF soon.
  23. Those are neat unique customs Navez. I think you really got the overall Daft Punk feel on the minifigs, especially with the use of helmets and the torso prints. Good job!
  24. NICE, really nice indeed. I love that huge taco display at the top - very well done. Hope to see that one in brickform soon.
  25. Great hovercraft design J4ke! I really like the use of black tubes underneath.
