  1. Welcome to Eurobricks 1eyedjoker! Enjoy the site.
  2. Not to discourage you or anything, but clean bricks are important to any good MOC presentation. So pls. do take that into account in you next creations. Just a friendly advice noname. Your little vignette is not bad at all, just clean up the dirty spots and it'll be all right. The small chapels are the best part of the MOC btw.
  3. You're right about that, Coruscant had very little representation in LEGO, not only in the official sets but even among MOCers. That's why I would like to try venturing on this line for a change. I'll probably do a couple, one is already in the works, and hopefully more MOCers will follow suit. I mean, there are a lot of LEGO build possibilities in Coruscant, and hopefully TLG will release more based on this in the near future.
  4. Whoa! You have done it again Sir, a very impressive creation once again. That triple-level prison is very intimidating and imposing. This one reminds me of the penitentiary in Prison Break. I simply love the small details inside (gym, toilet, aquarium, evidence room, etc.). Your comic-presentation is superb as usual.
  5. Pretty good small vignette Albero, the charging Spartans and the falling soldiers off the cliff makes up for the rather simple build of the cliff. Good job recreating this scene from 300.
  6. Not really, but we were 'forced' to watch one. Seriously, I agree the only positive in this episode is the Coruscant skyline, the CW team really did a good job on the various elements - the places, city structures, diversity of characters/aliens, and vehicles. This has actually inspired me for my next MOC project.
  7. Congratulations ISC! Best of luck on your new role in EB. Just curious though, why on the day you're promoted to History Moderator you changed your previous avatar to this new Clone avi? I though the previous one was more appropriate to the History forum, though this new one suits your name better.
  8. Nice review starstreak, thanks for sharing. Though I will go against the tide and say I don't like this set. The midi-scale vehicles aren't just my cup of tea, and this one looks rather fat at the rear part and the visible gaps in the middle just doesn't cut it for me. EDIT: If there was a poll in this review, i would rate this set as Below Average.
  9. I think so too, since most of the time only about 15-20% of all online viewers at a given time are the active members, the rest are "guests" or anonymous users.
  10. Pretty good modular Police HQ elkapitan, though the design is obviously copied from the modular fire station. The prisoner's cells on the second floor are a nice touch.
  11. Great review as usual Rufus. I agree this is one of the nicest sets in the CITY line-up this year, as civilian sets are always good addition to any city. The limo and chopper are relatively good builds, though there are some elements that could be improved with a bit of modding. I agree the girl's hairpiece is one of the best ones recently, but the Series 2 Pop Star's hair narrowly edges it "by a hair" IMO. It's a pity I won't be able to grab this one as of the moment since I'm concentrating on SW stuff, but maybe when I have the chance in the near future.
  12. Uhmm, there's no concrete answer but the simplest will probably be when TLG decides to release an Endor celebration-based set, where these three jedi ghosts appeared. But I highly doubt how TLG will create these ghostly figures, as transparent minifigs are very hard and expensive to create, AFAIK. All-white MFs (like the white Boba) might be the best way to go.
  13. Nice mini models. First, I like the fact that you now have the reference links. The design of those ships are interesting to create in mini-scale, and you manage to pull-off them seamlessly. I like the Gunstar one better, clever use of the 1x4 modified plate/piece.
  14. Yep, that's pretty much established by now by most reliable sources, most importantly the prelim photos from TLG, so there's no reason to doubt we'll get 4 figs in the BP. I do agree this will be the year that I'll also be getting multiples of BPs (with the exception of the previous Clone BP).
  15. Two words: Google Images
  16. Same here. Except for some minor issues (mismatched orange arms of BS troopers, wrong 'Clone Commander' name), I'm already satisified with the composition of the CT BP. I mean, three new clone variants, two new prints, 1 new helmet mold is waaay better than the previous BPs (and maybe all BPs for that matter). Asking for more clone variants is a bit too much, but there's always the possibility we might see new ones in future sets. Even if this is still prelims, I still think only one Mando will have a jetpack (sadly). This is actually a great strategy for TLG: "If you want to have multiple jetpacks for your Mandos, then buy multiple BPs." This is the same way in the CT BP: "If you want to have multiple ARFs, then buy multiple BPs."
  17. Another great mini Legostein, the model looks really sleek and the white color scheme with dark red highlights looks very clean and regal. I agree the use of the clickit parts and the dark red minifig heads are very effective for the thrusters. Impressive job as always.
  18. Lots of tan, dark purple, and trans-clear parts and pieces from BL for my next MOC...
  19. Ooh, very very nice indeed! What makes this a truly wonderful MOC are the small but great details - the vulture, the use of black hands in the underside of the roof, the walls, wooden door, etc. The MOC really captures the classic western feel in it, very impressive job 74louloute!
  20. Happy 29th Birthday to our dedicated MCW moderator, LuxorV! (I just thought someone who initiates greeting other people on their birthday rightfully deserves to be greeted on their own birthday). Have a wonderful day Sir! Happy birthday to all other celebrants as well. Cheers!
  21. Ooh, very nice design Stegoceras! I love most of your unconventional but very effective building techniques, particularly the front roof part which is just amazing. The rest of the details - the glass panels on the roof, tiled brick walls, and even the tree holders are equally as impressive. Great job!
  22. Pretty decent attempt on the Avatar Gunship Erynion, not bad for a first MOC. I think you got the basic shape right and the working rotors are a good touch. However, I think there is an issue with parts and colors selection. I would assume you have limited parts and you just worked with what you had right? I suggest you try to improve on that when you have the necessary parts, as it is already a good starting point.
  23. Pretty neat custom decals, the details are spot-on. However, I'm not a fan of peeling decals, maybe there's better way of letting them adhere to the minifig?
  24. Nice job The_Customizer! I actually also have my own custom Echo, but your hand print is much cleaner than mine, since I used sharpie instead of decals. But I'm not really a fan of the arm and leg decals, it's just too detailed for my taste.
  25. Interesting topic! Lemme see... I think I only have one: - Dump all the pieces together in the carpet without sorting by color then build! (no, seriously I really do that) Oh and one more thing: - Let the wife sleep/do something else to prevent any disturbance to the building process.
