  1. Great build - you really captured the 'prophet' look. The head and staff are very nicely done, I love it.
  2. Then I guess the one you got was the rare but unfortunate 'millionth' set. But I understand where your coming from minifigure_fan, finding a missing piece really ruins the excitement of building a newly-purchased set. Yeah these incidents do happen, and it's just an email away for a replacement part, but you really can't enjoy the set that you bought until you get the replacement, which takes some time to arrive. Ooh, that's pretty bad, you got a leg-less Hero! Tsk, tsk, TLG has to do better with this issue, a missing major part is not like the usual missing minor parts that you could readily replace.
  3. Another nice vig, but I like the previous one with the Spartans. Well, I guess you can't make much using this rather 'boring' ringmasters. They all look kinda weird having those creepy wide-smile facial expression. Bring on the next vig!
  4. The proper orientation of the MF hands is like the one in the first pic. Just look at every official lego box showing the minifigs, the hands have always been in that orientation. Yeah, there maybe a few missed ones, but I'm pretty sure the numbers (of MF in that hand orientation on official lego images) don't lie. And that official hand orientation is based on the that of real-world humans (us). Just look at yourself when you're standing, for sure you'll have that same hand orientation.
  5. Really? I never noticed that. Do you (or anyone) happen to have a screenshot showing this phase 1.5 trooper? I'm curious to see it.
  6. Welcome to Eurobricks Valezri! Hope you enjoy your stay here. See you around.
  7. Thanks for sharing Rick, great article by Fugazi. I'v been wondering about this issue also, that clarifies things up. It might be random now, but not that overly random, since TLG still numbers sets in the same theme together, like the recent SW sets from the 808X-809X series.
  8. Very cute! I think you got the overall look of Hello Kitty. Moreso the small details are subtle yet very effective, like the belt and the use of the curved slope for the round feet - very cleverly executed. But I don't see anything 'strange' as of now, it looks perfectly fine to me. Great job!
  9. Thanks for sharing this Cygnet, those centaur bodies do look awesome. I'm pretty sure we'd see these lego centaurs in MOCs sometime soon.
  10. I like your unique SNOT approach to build the V-Wing, the smooth studless finish really looks sleek and cool. Though there maybe some accuracy issues (like the thick wings due to the SNOT approach), but the unconventional build somehow makes up for that. Too bad it's a bit unstable, but I guess it's just ok since it was never meant to be played with and for just display purposes only. Your photo presentation is also impressive. Very good job 501st Commando!
  11. Very impressive collection indeed! Many have attempted, but few of you had had the success of completing this SW MF collection. Great job!
  12. Yeah, I tried to backread the set review and it seems everyone who got the set had all the smooth Leia bunhair. If it was intended to be that way, then whats the purpose behind it?

Great! I would love to see you try more of these unique-looking ships. Hope to see them soon.
  14. Welcome to Eurobricks Smaen! What are your favorite themes? Enjoy your stay here and see you around!
  15. I think this was brought out before in this set review made by ben506. It clearly is a mismold, as Bricklink has the normal Leia bun-roll hair mold in the official inventory of the set. I just don't know if all the released 10198s have this mismolded hair, as I don't own this set. Maybe someone who has this set and has the normal Leia hair can confirm. From ben506's review of 10198 Tantive IV: "The Leia from the Death Star (left) and the Tantive IV Leia (right):"
  16. Ok I may have been harsh on the Falcon, but I was merely reacting to the guy who was wishing for another X-Wing (the MF was just dragged along, sorry). Yeah the Falcon may be due for a remake, as I don't even have the previous versions. But my whole point is: wouldn't it be better if we see new sets rather than remakes of old ones? I would rather get a new Jedi Temple or a new Yavin base playset (just examples and not a wishlist) instead of another X-Wing or Slave I. @ Darth Sion: Yeah the recent posts may have been a bit of 'wishlists', but I think it was being discussed in the context of "anticipation of OT/PT-based sets for 2011 due to the lack thereof in the first wave". Besides, it seems people have ran out of stuff to talk about the first wave of the 2011 sets, so they're turning their attention to what 2011 has more to offer.
  17. Great shot on Boba and his gang of bounty hunters smokebelch. Don't worry, classic Boba is still.. classic!
  18. Great, looking better by the day. It's nice to know that you actually listen to your peers' suggestions - that's a sign of a good MOCer. Keep it up Tricky-Brick!
  19. Nicely done. Ever thought of using decals for the torso? It would look 'cleaner' IMO.
  20. Nice one Peppermint_M! I love this Spartan MOC, especially the weapons rack and the pillars at the backdrop. This is a great start for your MF Series 2 series (how redundant that sounds). Can't wait for the next installments.
  21. I love this MOC! Simply amazing! The whole vignette is fantastically built with all the wonderful landscaping, lush greeneries, and verdant trees. Though as fantastic as the creation is I feel the 'lonely' atmosphere, I could just imagine how lonely the caveman was. At least the hilarious 'evolution of man' makes up for it. Very impressive work Etzel!

Very interesting box-shaped ship design, I'm not that familiar with the ship but I like the SNOT techniques that you did. It's actually a very good first space build, nice job puriri! EDIT: Just saw the link, it's a good collection of geometrical-shaped ships, any plans of doing more of these?
  23. I guess welcome back Grendar! Enjoy the site.
  24. Welcome to Eurobricks MarcoB. Glad to hear another SW fan joining the ranks. See you around.
  25. Very impressive MOC M_longer! I love the smooth design of the whole build, most especially the 'telescope'. Nice cool blue color scheme too.
